We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

It’s a bit bothersome to me that they have shampoo for less than $2, but then the most expensive on the page is a lipstain for $15. Out of shampoo, conditioner, mascara, body bar, and cream stick foundation, I would pay more for those than the lipstain. I could deal with Chapstick. Glamour..ha
That is an interesting point, LOL. I would never have connected the dots on that!
I am a bit bummed to read this post…..seriously one of the reasons that I distrust beauty magazines so much is because of posts like this. Seriously I do NOT believe that any beauty editor would willingly use a 2$ shampoo on, their New York 200$ a color and cut, hair! They have the best products available to them and there is simply no way they would use Suave on their hair….it just reads like a paid advertisement. I am not blaming Christine for this, but seriously its what makes blogs like this credible and beauty magazines not….if that changes blogs will go the way of beauty magazines and not be trusted resourses of valuable information. I do realize this is an ADVERTISEMENT! but seriously, at what point is the lines blurred?
I think as long as bloggers are clear about what is sponsored, advertorial/advertisement, or otherwise paid-for, then the line shouldn’t be blurred. I do all of my advertising via Glam Media, which is a go-between me and any potential advertiser, so I do not have direct relationships with advertisers. I also do not accept advertising or posts like these in which I’m otherwise obligated to speak or write or review in a particular way.
Where can I find the lip stain? I love the thought of a red stain that isn’t a lipstick. I love red colors but hat having to reapply so much! Plus $15 is nothing for a good gloss!!
that was the question i had as well! i would love to try that lipstain.
You can find that lipstain at Sephora. Some of them have it. I have tried the lipstick from this brand – the Balm & was really happy w/it.
