Giorgio Armani New Lip Maestro Shades for Fall 2020
Unless we get a vaccine or covid gets under control enough to not need to masks, I just cannot let myself fall for any of these deeper, richer shades I favor for autumn and winter. ?
I’m wondering if these would hold up. I remember them as being quite budge proof, but you definitely wouldn’t want to experiment with deeper, richer shades ?. I do recall when they would eventually break down, they would pill up on me in an unattractive manner. Perhaps we need to establish a new testing paradigm ?
Hmmm.. could be a good lip colour choice that might hold up for short stretches under a mask. I haven’t worn one of these in a long, long time, but I remember them as being super budge-proof. They would get kinda gross and break down after a number of hours, but they did hold up a lot longer than cream lipsticks, could usually get away with drinking one venti starbucks and never looked or felt as drying as most liquid lipsticks.
Actually, thanks for talking me out of these. Some of the shades, both these and previous/permanent are really gorgeous.
De rien ?
Hi Wednesday,
Are you sure you’re not mixing these up with the lip magnet formula? I use both regularly and while lip magnet sets and I have been able to wear it under a mask with no big issues, lip maestro is very hidrating and doesn’t set so I wouldn’t even try it. It leaves a stain so it’s long-lasting but I wouldn’t want it under a mask.
No, probably an erroneous memory of a product I used many many years ago. I have not tried the lip magnet formula. I had a handful of the lip maestro when it was first on the market… 2012? 2013? It would not be the first time my memory has failed me ?
Haven’t tried this lipstick before but I’ve heard good things. I’m on the hunt for long smudge proof lipsticks that won’t come off under a face mask.
Lovely shades, but wish they were in a lipstick format….
