Giorgio Armani Copper/Black Grey (15) Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadow Review, Photos, Swatches

Giorgio Armani Copper/Black Grey (15) Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadow
Giorgio Armani Copper/Black Grey (15) Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadow ($32.00 for 0.14 oz.) is slightly cool-toned bronzy brown with a hint of taupe in it. Â There’s a muted quality about the overall color that makes it a really wearable but rich brown. Â It works well whether it is used dry or wet–when used wet, it seems like the color has a warmer undertone. Â The finish is a reflective, metallic sheen with a bronzy-gold micro-shimmer.
The texture of the Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadows is interesting; it’s a really compacted loose powder, but it’s so finely milled that it almost feels like a hybrid cream-powder. Each pot contains 0.14 oz. worth of product, which is a good amount, given that most pressed eyeshadows average around 0.05 oz. I have worn around half of the range alone on lids with 12+ hours of wear without creasing, smudging, or fading.

Love all the Armani ETK!
Oh my that’s SO beautiful! =)
i can’t wait for these shadows to be available in italy. but how many colors are them?
Woh, I thought it would be much darker… I think I would have liked it more if it was darker…
I have been lusting after these, but was put off by the price. I just did the math, though, and this is quite reasonably-priced given the volume. I’ll have to go look at these in person. Thanks, Christine!
I can easily see this as a good transitional shade for when you want to turn day makeup into night makeup.
Christine, what color is your fave from this line? Khaki Pulse, perhaps?
Not sure, sorry!
Love it! Putting it on my lust list!
Hi Christine,
Did you try the new l’oreal infallible color? Eveyone was saying how they are dupe of Armani eyes to kill e/s. Will you be comparing those 2 eyeshadows?
I emailed her with the exact same question a few weeks ago and she said they aren’t available in the US.
I have a matte L’Oreal infaillible (16 Coconut Shake, a light, skin-coloured one I use as a matte highlighter) and like it, but I have no idea how it compares to the shimmery ones. From what I swatched in the shop, the shimmery ones seemed really pigmented though!
The Loreal Infallible colour eyeshadows are nothing compared to the Armani ETK. I have a few of both of them but for me the ETK are much more intense and multi dimensional. It also has a good lasting power.
Thanks again for another great review! I don’t know which one to choose!
How do these compare to Chanel’s new pot eyeshadows and Lancome’s Ombre Magnetique shadows? Thanks!
These are not at all like Chanel’s Illusion d’Ombres. I haven’t tried Lancome’s, sorry!
Love! I wanted to know, by any chance do u have reviews seperated by grade? Like if i wanted to look up all reviews with “A” ratings can i do that?
Yes, in the side bar, click the tab “Reviews by Rating” 🙂
Thanks Christine! I’ve been waiting for your swatch of #15 since you started your ETK series. Would you know if this will be available at Nordstrom by any chance? Thanks!
I don’t think this one is available at Nordstrom any more!
Ohhh it is GORGEOUS I WANT THEM ALL!!!! I think I’m picking up the black for sure, and maybe this one!!!! It’s not maybe so unique in color but it’s such a beautiful brown!!!! Plus from your reviews well you don’t give out A’s easily!!!
That’s such a good shade!!!
so compare to #5, how different is it??
How do I add this color to the swatch gallery? I want to compare it to #3 but I can’t find it.
