Do you like to travel?: Yes and no. I’m a person who gets really stressed out by travel planning, packing and prep, but I like visiting warm and interesting places!

Thanks Christine! 🙂 It’s not big – only a half hour away from where I am now, but it’s into a much bigger space and I’m so excited! (Mostly excited to set up a more organized makeup storage situation, haha!)

A few days ago received my first koyudo, the fupa14 and i love it! Its super soft(same as the chikuhodo Z series) and its dense, i use it for my powder foundation, i was using the mac 182 but i like the fupa so much more because its waaaayy softer and the head its a little smaller so it gives me more control on some areas of my face.
Cleaning, waiting for the weather to get warmer so i can take my kids to play outside.
No, i dont really enjoy traveling that much because its too much going on when traveling with little kids (4 and 2 years old!) in fact we are going to a cruise at the end of this month for almost the whole week and im so stressed out, i still have to go shopping for clothes, shoes, etc and i dont know how they will behave when in the cruise :/
Ooh, I hope the cruise is super relaxing so it’ll be worth the stress beforehand!

Best meal ever: a pistachio risotto I had in an italian restaurant in NYC. It was absolutely perfect.

I think it helps a lot if you warm up the product before wearing it. I rub my finger onto it kind of fast,and it gets smoother. I noticed when I was walking my dog yesterday, the cold weather made it stickier. I think it will wear better on warm days. That will help with your eyelids not sticking together as much.
That being said, the creasing is kind of inevitable, but I noticed it’s less obvious with Lightly Tauped (which blends in with my skintone) than with Pearl Varnish.

Weekend plans: I’ll be celebrating my birthday with my friends on Saturday and going out for supper, even though my birthday was about 2 weeks ago now haha 🙂 It’ll be fun!
What was the best meal you’ve ever had?: Hm I don’t know if I can recall the best meal I’ve ever had. Instead, my favourite foods are seal meat, and Atlantic lobster! 😀

I haven’t taken the time to compare the reformulated one to the original, but I’m surprised by how much I’m loving Lavender Jade on myself! It’s a colour I never really thought I’d go for!

Weekend plans: My boyfriend and I are going to the Gemstones and Minerals show, maybe i’ll buy a pretty gem 😛
Best meal ever: I don’t know, we’re going out to dinner quite a lot… although I really like a good steak from argentina!

I guess I didn’t read the Mac 9x Palettes correctly. The 9 eyeshadows fit in the quad compact. Disappointed, but what was I thinking at that price????

Haul: Sephora brow highlighter, NYX Feline lipstick, NARS blush in Fervor (I know it got mediocre reviews but I can’t resist a NARS blush!), Lancome mascara and eye makeup remover kit, and several things from H&M.
Weekend plans: Volunteering at the Humane Society, cleaning, and working on a website.
What was the best meal you’ve ever had?: That’s a hard one. I’m a big foodie and I’ve had a lot of good food. But probably any Thanksgiving dinner with my family! Good food and surrounded by loved ones – doesn’t get any better than that.
Keep me posted on the NARS blush — am very curious to hear how others like it. I think if one sticks to dry application, reviews will be more favorable.
Mellan just needs a book to go with that bowtie, and he’ll look very studious

Best meal I have ever had was tortellini at this little hole in the wall place in Rome. It was actually a basement with the entrance off a sidewalk and was a restaurant run by a husband(waiter) and his wife(cook). This was back in 1989 and I still remember it, it was that memorable!
And I’m glad you are getting the MAC x9 palettes! I’m dying to see swatches and your opinions on those!

It was… Imagine an Italian grandma at the stove, that was what she was like and the food was divine.

What was the best meal you’ve ever had?: Dinner at a French restaurant for my cousin’s wedding. The steak melted in my mouth!
Which lipsticks from Bao Bao Wan and Cinderella did you get, Antonia?
Haul: nothing, but i am considering and still thinking about Urban Decay’s Vice 3 palette (i enjoyed your review by the way)!
Weekend: Laundry (haha) and hopefully getting a good workout in and you made me hungry so hopefully eating something pretty damn good oh, and possibly karaoke (it’s still an idea, haha).
Best Meal: wow, this can take all day, haha. I guess the most recently delicious meal i had was this penne with this amazing vodka sauce from a place called Cafe Fiore. (i wish i had more time to enjoy my wedding reception meal, although it was amazing during the food tasting).

It’s a bowtie collar! The collar is just like your typical dog collar, just with fabric, and then the bow-tie attaches with velcro so it’s easily removed if desired.
Haul: Zipolla. Nada. Zilch.
Weekend plans: Recover from sickness and possibly go grocery shopping.
Best meal ever? I’m pretty sure it was at Charels of Nob Hill in SF. The place is now closed but the head chef had beat the Iron Chef French on the Japanese version which was almost impossible to do. My ex-husband and I planned a trip to go there with a friend. It was a 12 course tasting menu with add ons that they just kept bringing with accompanying wine pairings for each dish. They spared no expense on the food or the wine, but charged us no extra for it. We had a several thousand dollar bottle of wine opened just for us for one of the courses. The meal for 3 was around $500 plus tip. We were there for 5 hours or more. My favorites from the meal that I still remember from 15 years ago were the crab and artichoke bisque with lemon and parsley oil, the monkfish with black truffles and a red wine reduction, and the blood orange sorbet.
I’ve had other excellent meals at the French Laundry, Bouchon, Lumiere in Vancouver, Comptoir in Paris and several exceptional meals in Italy.

Glad to see you got the MAC x 9 palettes. I’m curious about quality. I read a review on the Navy that said it had several Lustres. 🙁
Haul: LORAC Unzipped Gold. I went to Ulta to return a foundation for the right color, and thought I’d do some swatching while I had time. Just for fun. I ended up with the palette and $40 worth of Nyx and Maybelline items (but they were on sale! lol). I am in love with Unzipped Gold. I didn’t have many metallics, and these will be perfect for spring. Love the pigmentation.
Weekend plans: Touch up my roots. Look into some housing options for my older son.
What was the best meal you’ve ever had? My 22nd wedding anniversary a couple years ago. We went to the Portland Grill, which is much more fancy-pants then the name sounds. We had a view of Mount Hood at sunset and extremely expensive, extremely fantastic food.

I totally forgot I got the Benefit Rollarlash and Pur Minerals Dirty Girl mask (that mask sucks EVERYTHING out – I think it’s better than Glam Glow :x)

Haul: I broke down when QVC had some It cosmetic specials and got a nice set with a blush brush, their stain blush, and a gloss for about $43! I also purchased an illuminating loose powder with a brush for about the same price.But that is still in transit.So, those are both incredibly good deals, considering the brushes basically are free and are awesome! At Ulta, i randomly spotted the Maybelline Color Bloom lipsticks for buy 2 get one free. I added a Curel lotion. So, I wound up paying like $3 for each! So, with all the snow we have been having, I admittedly have been online shopping too much. Plus,now working form home..it’s so much easier! lol. I did break down and buy Tom Ford blush in Flushed. I have wanted it forever and I was going to get one of the Nars ones. But after the reviews, I decided, they may be too metallic and I should wait until I can see them in person. That is it for this week! Although, my wishlist grew longer! 🙂
weekend plans; Girl scout cookie selling is in full swing and my daughter is a girl scout. So, yeah,lol. Between that and laundry,errands, that is my weekend..
The best meal I have ever had: Hmm..that is a very hard question.I really don’t know. The one I can remember would probably be at my sister’s wedding. Some sort of fancy pork.

Haul: Burberry Luminous Fluid Base in Nude Radiance & Burberry complete eye palette in Mocha; Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Butter. Used the palette yesterday and I LOVE it; I was afraid it would be too similar to my Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage, but it’s definitely not. Different textures for sure.
Weekend plans: yard work! fun times
Best meal: this is a great question. REALLY hard to choose but probably the strawberry risotto I had in Florence- so delicious and unique and brings to mind lovely memories of bonding with my Mom when she came to visit me while I was studying in Italy.

Best meal you’ve ever had: oh that’s a tough one – I still recall a wonderful Spanish restaurant in the city where I grew up. This was years and years ago but it was really good. Maybe I’ll have a new best meal by the time we get home!

What was the best meal you’ve ever had: That’s tough, I eat a lot of good food! My favorite comfort food is chicken schnitzel with spaetzle, brown gravy, and knoepfle soup. I’m also obsessed with the tortas from Xoco and the pork belly & egg sandwich from Revolution (both downtown Chicago).
Is the Sephora brush for using with the Meteorites?
No, it’s for my purse and travel bag, My previous one broke last weekend when I was in Arizona.

What games did you get for Wii?
Haul: I got a set of loose shadow samples from Aromaleigh. I normally don’t go for loose eye shadows, but they have a color called Telesilla, so I kind of had to. It’s not often you see something named after an obscure Ancient Greek poet.
Plans: going to Berkeley to see a friend on Sunday and to have…Indian food. 🙂 Guess it’s a good weekend for it.
Best meal I ever had: this is kind of an impossible question for me because I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot and eat some amazing meals. Roast suckling pig in Segovia, Spain…a five course meal at a 3 star restaurant in the Alsace…most recently, we had amazing tapas in San Diego last year.
Yeah, you pretty much HAD to get that 😉

Haul: Picked up an Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Whipped Body Creme (I have two from last year but I love the stuff so much I needed another)! Also the Bronze Goddess Face/Eye Palette that’s on Sephora (I am completely unashamed to say I’m crossing my fingers and hoping they will just send me the rest… I ask for nothing else all year! LOL) I also went kind of lipstick crazy at MAC and bought 8 or 9 mattes that I didn’t have – just rounding out my collection. Only two left! Woohoo! LOL
Weekend plans: I have no idea but it’s certainly not going to be taxes! Boo! Haha
What was the best meal you’ve ever had?: Ugh I don’t know… I hate food. I HATE food and I hate eating. I long for people kibble that will sustain me. Dogs have it, people should have it too.
Have you seen the gelee? Isn’t there a powder gelee? I keep looking for that… Is the body creme super moisturizing or is it the scent?
There is a powder gelee and it launched early on Sephora but was only available for about 20 minutes before it completely sold out. The body cream is ultra silky and moisturizing, really light weight and not greasy at all… I do love the smell (it’s just the classic Bronze Goddess) but I also wish they made the body cream in an unscented version because I would use it up every day! It’s nice. Sold out super fast last year.

Best meal: I guess it depends: Homemade – sounds corny but my mom’s Spinach Mushroom Lasagna Restaurant meal: deconstructed lobster tacos during a 12 course, 5 hour, white-glove tasting meal in Carmel (CA); lemon cream gnocchi in Taormina (Italy); a wild mushroom omelet in Admiralty Island (Alaska);

Haul: MAC Eyeshadow X 15/Cool Neutral Palette. A total impulse purchase, if the quality issues bother me I’ll return it, but, it looked really nice on the display, and they didn’t have Burmese Kiss, which is what I went in for… what can I say? It was a very rough day, my resistance was down.
Weekend plans: relax as much as possible after a difficult week, then cook up something yummy and special for dinner on Sunday.
The best meal I’ve ever had? I don’t really know! But I like to cook and am always trying out new recipes. I love Indian Food and Thai food and wish we had more good restaurants with those kinds of cuisines around here. Really great Indian food is a project to cook, especially the breads, and I’m not that good at it yet.

Haul: Mac x BaoBaoWan lipsticks x2 in Romatic Breakdown and Burnese Kiss. I also got Viva Glam miley lipstick and Velvet Teddy lipstick from MAC. (I’m always buying lipstick hehe, I can never get enough.)
Weekend Plans: Probably going to stay at home and relax. I’ve been a little under the weather this week so I definitely need a mental break from everything and dedicate a little time to myself. I might organize my make-up collection in the meantime, I really need to get rid of the stuff that I don’t use anymore.
Best Meal: Last November my brother took me and my family to this restaurant and they had the best pulled pork BBQ burgers with curly fries I ever had in my entire life. No burger can top that…makes me salivate even thinking about it.

Best meal ever: wow that’s a hard one… I was raised with excellent food everywhere around and I love good food. I’ve had a lot of great meals and I don’t think I can choose a best ever. For a best in the US I can’t really choose between a restaurant in Vegas called Sage, and a place called Market in San Diego.
How are you liking Comfy in Cashmere?
I haven’t tried it on yet! The swatches I saw were really nice and it looks gorgeous in its bottle though!
Haul: Nothing, and I’m dying inside because of that.
Weekend Plans: Study for a bunch of tests I have on Monday. Yay.

Do you like to travel? Yes, when it is a vacation, with family and friends!
Best Meal? Anything with loved ones, but probably in Athens at the Cafe Avissinia after the flea market, beautiful day with a group of friends, happy times, good food too!

Weekend plans: I should really do the dishes and hopefully find something nice to do for my husband. I’m sick, so the dishes are kind of a stretch goal at the moment! I’m probably just going to binge watch Star Wars, tbh.
What was the best meal you’ve ever had?: There’s an Indian restaurant (run by a Nepalese family) we used to visit frequently, and before we moved overseas we went there one last time. They executed it perfectly–chewy-crisp naan (some stuffed with cheese, or raisins and cashews, or potatoes and onion) with raita and chutneys galore; fresh paneer fried in the lightest batter; curries and masalas and kormas and all of it alongside fragrant basmati rice. We didn’t even tell our waiters it was our last time, but the chef sent out some gulab jamun for dessert on the house. It was lovely, and now I’m hungry. (And jealous you get to go out for Indian food!)
