What’s your favorite way to relax?: Playing a video game like a nerd. Watching a movie, preferably a musical to unwind and sing-along to! Or watching one of my favorite tv shows. I really find cooking and baking a marvelous way to relax, too.

Weekend plans: I have to get together the draft for my 20 page research paper, write another paper and take a European Politics exam online. The end of the semester is always rushed and hectic!
What’s your favorite way to relax?:It’s amusing that this is the question FHF is asking this weekend, since I’ll be doing anything but relaxing! 😛 I like to read a fun book like a fantasy novel or (nerd alert!) even a textbook on an interesting topic. I also like going into Washington Square Park on Sundays to listen to the jazz musicians play while I read. They do that every Sunday here in NYC. Music really helps me relax.

I am loving the Mask of Magnaminty… absolutely. I was using GlamGlo but I haven’t even looked at it since I got the magnaminty.. and I don’t even want to!! I like it WAY better.

I went to my local drugstore yesterday and i got 2 loreal infallible eyeshadows in Amber rush and bronzed taupe and 1 extraordinarie by colour riche in 101 rose melody,a revlon super lustrous lip gloss in kiss me coral and a sally hansen insta dry nail polish in 205 Pink Blink, i had some coupons so i paid 22 dls for all so it was a good deal 🙂 btw macys has the urban decay ocho loco set and the black market set on 30%off right now !!
Oh and forgot to mention my weekend plan maybe going out to eat and go to kohs to buy some clothes for my daughter and maybe buy the mary lou manizer, i have always wanted it but want to see it in person to swatch it, and my favorite way to relax is paint my nails and listen to music

Haul: Okay so – Maybelline Shocking Coral (I hate to say it but I don’t think I’m a fan of the formula); Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive (I think I AM a fan, at least I’m liking it so far)! BUT the BEST part: I snagged a long time lemming from ebay: MAC Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in Havana!!! I really hope it lives up to my expectations… I’ve always regretted not buying it when I bought Sweet Heat.
Weekend plans: I’m meeting my aunts West Highland White Terrier puppy on Saturday… sooo excited 😀

I will absolutely admit I broke my spending ban a few days ago because TJ Maxx was selling a Benefit Velvet Eyeshadow (which has been discontinued for how long???) for $7. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE those eyeshadows and I only had one, and this was the only one, and they’ve been discontinued, so poo on you all, I’m gonna break my ban for a day and get it, hahaha. I also got some skincare because I have run out of some good moisturizers that actually do things from my skin. From… Organic Surge brand? A day and night cream. They’re okay. I’m not sure how I feel about them yet.

Ooh, how is the Clinique polish?
Sorry to get back to you so late, Christine! The Clinique polish is a very pretty beige and it applies effortlessly. It’s always hard for me to find nudes that work because they make my hands look yellower, but this one doesn’t, so it´s become my favorite for the season! It has a shiny finish by itself but looks even prettier with a top coat. It lasts about a week on me, but I´m sort of hard on my nails. The only thing I don’t like is that it´s limited edition 🙁 !

I like my Select Cover-Up, but it’s not exactly what I want. Anyone want to suggest a peach concealer for the under-eye area? Skin-tone concealers aren’t enough for me here. Danke!

Haul: the new Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster (I’ve used it twice and it’s quite amazing) and a large, bonus sized bottle of Bioderma (they’re on special and I might go and buy yet another one).

Both – if I’m at the gym or at work and want to re-do my makeup because I’m going out straight from work, I’ll use it for my whole face. Otherwise, I will use it for just my eyes (it’s great for getting off waterproof concealer or the last traces of makeup/concealer that linger AFTER I’ve washed my face). Sometimes, I use it just to refresh, almost like a toner.
Sounds like a really versatile product! I’m pretty sure I bought it, but now it’s a matter of finding it…
Haul: I defected, except for the PC haul, placed last night. I did shoes. Wide feet getting both longer + wider, since i gained a buncha weight. 3 @ the discount/remainder shop of our local h/e shoe store, extra wide white new balances, turquoise sanitas, and andrew weil semi mjs…they look like Birkis, kinda, in jeans blue. My feet are Haflingers (German feet, thanks, the late Stephen Jay Gould + that’s too esoteric to explain.) + i found green grizzlies, last pair + $36 tricolor gray + blue, that are current. Haflingers run ~105+, MSRP. SCORE!!!
Plans: housework, changing winter to summer clothes + 3 rooms have winter to summer decor, reports for day job, night job F, S,S. I think i’d rather ….
Relax: read crime fiction + non-fiction, ‘modern’ novels. Same basic preferences in TV, videos. Though I just love Call the Midwife… Snugging with B+TSH dachshund, who is so smooth + loving, that he lowers my blood pressure. He discovered bowling this week + loves it. Rolls something at the bottles outside the tub + looks very pleased with himself, when they all fall over. Strike!
How cute is his new bowling hobby!! Mellan likes to drop his toys from the top of the stairs and watch them go to the bottom!

Getting my hair washed & roller set @ the salon, the way my stylist rubs my scalp+the Peppermint shampoo I use, I always fall asleep & sleeping, I love to get @ the minimum 7 hrs of sleep, whenever I can, I relish in it.
Having one’s hair washed is truly a simple pleasure!

Haul: Cetaphil (for acne…one) spf 30 moisturizer, Gucci’s Guilty Intense Pour Homme and VK’s Spicebomb. I like those scents more than I like their “female” counterparts and they smell incredible to me. Suitable for my skin chemistry so boom. xD I also cave on both because of the rewards points thing at both Ulta and Sephora so yay….justification all around. 😀
Weekend Plans: Relay for life and some shopping/R&R with my mom. 😀 Actually no work this weekend…bahaha.
What’s my favorite way to unwind: After work, I like to lay flat on my back on the floor of my room to unwind. No need to change, just lay for a bit…or an hour or two before stuff. x)

I got Catrice’s Eye Want, Eye Need and Eye Like.. why, when they all look the same on me!? I thought they would be silver, gold and pink champagne but they all look silvery lol I already gave one away to a friend and it does look pinker on her. I got my correct MAC Ocean City, too.
I always try to do stuff for my mom but this weekend we’ll just all be at home or working. I’m also trying to distract myself from other things by deciding whether or not to get something from the MAC AA collection. PS was my one stalking attempt and I don’t know if I have it in me again.
Relaxing? We’re always so busy! I like the rare facial, if I can get to do that. I like the pool, the beach and sleeeppp, I love sleep lol
It is going to be interesting to see what the rush for Alluring Aquatic ends up being like, because I think the packaging has shown really well, even if the colors are (seemingly) falling short of buzz-worthy.
What kind of facial do you like?
Sometimes I find myself looking at SMHM and SAS (what a name, hmm) and the compact is lovely but nothing is a have-to-have-it product (for me). Like, from PS I really, really wanted Ocean City!
I feel like it could have been an outstanding collection and I am such a lover of the sea, too, I would have loved to have had stuff from it that would be used more frequently than just having that gorgeous packaging. But that is just me. I think it will sell like ca-razy.
I usually just do basic facials that include a little massage. But once I had a rice paste facial that was really nice and another time a sort of mint chocolate one that was heavenly 🙂

Weekend plans: Hiking on Sunday morning and we took my parents-in-law out to dinner on Sunday night.
