Fave fall dessert: Might have to agree with you, I’m making a pecan pie tomorrow. I’m not much of a dessert person, though, so my first thought was cheese plates lol. And I love fresh cranberry sauce.

Haul: Estee Lauder Rebellious Rose Lipstick. I was already in love with the formula, but I’m still slightly surprised at how much I love this lipstick. It’s what I hoped Nars Audrey would look like on me from your swatches, a muted pinky-reddish berry (don’t get me wrong I love Audrey but it looked much darker than I expected it to on me). Probably gonna get a lot of wear this winter!
Weekend plans: Binge watch Netflix’s Jessica Jones that just came out today!

Walgreens (BOGO50): Cover Girl x Star Wars Limited Edition Nail Polish in 50 (Emerald Blaze), 110 (Snow Storm), 180 (Red Revenge), 195 (Nemesis), 200 (Speed of Light), 230 (Golden Opportunity), 330 (Diva After Dark). I bought these mainly as collectibles to complete the collection (already purchased the lipsticks and mascaras). Like with the lipsticks, I purchased doubles of the few I actually wanted to use myself: Speed of Light, Golden Opportunity, and Nemesis. I considered buying a double of Red Revenge but I already have so many red nail polishes, I didn’t really need another. I’m hoping the polishes will be decent and have high hopes since I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the few lipsticks I bought to use.
Not technically cosmetic but kind of related…I also bought the KarhiAnne Kerr Little Karl Lagerfeld doll.
Weekend plans: 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count! Yup, working on Rachel's house and my house. It's starting to seem like it's a good possibility I may have mine done by Thanksgiving. And thanks for reminding me – I need to get the right size curtains too. The windows have mini blinds right now so at least they're covered, but I want to get some curtains to finish out the room.
What’s your favorite fall dessert?: Do I have to pick just one? It kind of depends on my mood. I love anything with chocolate, but I also like the Fall spices. So pumpkin pie is also a winner. Of course, since I'm diabetic, I can only have a bite of whatever I pick. We always celebrate Rachel's birthday with Thanksgiving so I ordered her a cookie cake (per request) and am having a more traditional birthday cake for other guests. But for the first time, I also ordered a bunch of sweets from Dylan's Candy Bar. So I think this holiday cheat might just be a chocolate covered turkey Oreo or some plain old fashioned chocolate!

Lots of great hauls, Michele! I must check Walgreens for the Cover Girl x Star Wars collection! They seem pretty.
Initially I purchased the lipsticks and mascara online when they were first released. I could not find the polish online, however. My local Walgreens had a full display with all of the products and all Cover Girl was buy one get one 50% off. My fav lipstick is the one in Nude but the Lilac (similar to Bite’s Opal with a touch more lavender), Purple (surprisingly wearable), and Red (classic red) are also very nice.
I gave up trying to find the Cover Girl Star Wars collection at Walgreens, much easier to order online from Walgreens or Ulta.
Michelle, that’s how I feel about chocolate, too!!! I cannot live without it! Trust me, 2 days without solid food is making me want to FEAST on it! LoL

I have combination skin(normal to dry but can get easy to oily on the T-zone).it smell so good,so refreshing! it also did a great job as refreshing skin too and bring moisture back to skin after wash my face.in winter I can used it as facial spary during the day too but in hotter weather I sometime feel a little sticky after used it but I love it so far and this is already my second once! I hope this can help,Michele 🙂

Haul: Bare minerals Regal Wardrobe, Bobbi Brown Greystone palette ( not too sure yet on this one), a lot of stuff form the Nars X Seven Klein collection (although I must admit I’m torn on if I will keep the shadow palette because I can’t look at the cover!) Mascaras from mascara madness arrived- Chanel Le volume x2 and a Guerlain Maxi volume), Clinique Even better essence for Dry skin, Hourglass lip oil, Loccitane hand lotionx2 (one for my daughter) and a set for purses and bags- I prefer the original shea butter for dryness. But, I like to treat us with the smelly ones too! Also, bunch of stuff form CoulourPop!
Weekend plans: I’m having a spinal tap in a couple of hours. I have just been diagnosed with MS. This is a third diagnostic test for them. So, it makes one feel lousy for a couple days- so I guess not much.
Fall dessert: Pumpkin pie!

Greystone palette! I keep passing BB palettes, because every time I’ve tried one in the last 3-4 years, it’s been blah 🙁 Did you decide on whether you love it or hate it yet, Nicole?
Well, I haven’t decided for sure. I think you may hate it. Pigmentation is awful. It needs a base- not a primer – a base. I wore a primer and it looked like I just hadn’t slept. I love the colors though over a base. That’s what is getting me. I’ve not thoroughly gone through my stash. But, I’m not one to tear through 3 or 4 palettes to dupe. The shadows blend super smooth,look beautiful,and wear. But, they need a base to be seen like I’m used to. I plan to check through a couple more palettes.
LOL! No, that definitely sounds like I would not care for it (certainly wouldn’t rate well). What a shame!

Haul: You know how a few weeks ago you mentioned the Kat Von D Studded Kiss Collector’s Edition thing? And how I said that there weren’t enough good colors and it wasn’t my favorite lip formula anyways? And then how I got an email yesterday saying that now you can buy directly from Kat Von D’s store instead of only from Sephora, and even if you could do that before I wasn’t aware of it? Yeah, I bought the Studded Kiss Collector’s Edition set, as well as a Studded lipstick in Slayer, the Chrysalis eye shadow palette (all for me) and I bought two tattoo liners for my mom for Christmas. I also got some bath fizzy things, bareminerals undereye brightening powder concealer and lotion from Ulta and some various perfumes/perfume samplers.
Weekend plans: My mom is coming to visit me for the weekend, and then I get to go stay with her for Thanksgiving week. I’d prefer to be home, but at least it’s just for the week.

Ok, I went to Ulta today and I also got the Urban Decay Vice palette, the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and a Butter London nail polish in brown sugar. My shameful makeup confession of the day is that I’ve never before owned or used a Naked palette. They just didn’t appeal to me in the past-I’m much more of a color person. I decided to cave and see what everyone’s talking about, though. I only got the Vice palette as well because I liked the swatches in store, which I really didn’t think I would based on what I’ve seen online. I hope I like them as much for use! I held myself back from getting the Anastasia Beverly Hills self made palette. I love that deep purple color so much. It was like color bliss. I may buy it online.

It is! I am enjoying it, thank you! I’m actually really glad I got it. I went to a Thanksgiving party today that I was not looking forward to, and I picked Cathedral from the set to wear. I’ve never tried that specific color before, but once I had it on I felt 100% better. I know it sounds silly, but that was enough to make the set worth it to me.

Haul: Got my Guerlain Air Kiss and Bite Kir Royale lipsticks, brush cleaner and samples (including Black Opium! Love that one!) this past Tuesday from Sephora…with an unexpected addition, a Laura Mercier Blush & Glow Radiant Face Trio?!? I am just flabbergasted. If I send it back, I know they’ll only destroy it because it cannot be resold, so that leaves me with a moral dilemma…
Weekend plans: NOTHING!!! Retouched my roots (an inch and a half worth!) on Wednesday, nails are ok, I guess. So I will spend the next few days recovering from yesterday’s prep and today’s colonoscopy for the Crohn’s. It just comes with the territory. So I am writing this whilst waiting for all the Propafol to disappear!

Haul: All I bought this week was Lise Watier’s cream eyeshadow (they call it a “souffle”) in the colour “Sortilege”. It is so beautiful and the texture beats the daylights out of Chanel’s Illusion d’ombre. I want to get more of these when SDM has their points redemption bonus next weekend

Favorite fall dessert: I used to make a whole bunch of different things. For events, I love my spiced pumpkin pie. For day-to-day cookie baking, I like to make gingersnaps.
I used to make these cute (BIG) boxes of cookies/almond roca/peppermint bark/truffles to give to friends and family. Aside from the Almond Roca and Peppermint Bark, I usually made 2 kinds of Spritz cookies, Linzer cookies, Zimtsterne Cookies, Pfeffernusse (and yes, I’m half Swiss-German…), Ginger Snaps, 2 flavors of shortbread like lavender or lemon, Lemon Poppyseed Cookies, Anise Almond Biscotti, Pepper-Cocoa Cookies, and usually 2-3 flavors of chocolate truffles (I usually go for one spicy, one traditional and one floral/fruity version). Send them all out with Christmas/Holiday cards and make people happy and fat.
Yeah I know it’s a bit much, but baking was my jam back when I could actually bake.
OH MY GOD ANNE! I think I just drooled on my keyboard, LOL.
Yeah, “baker” was kind of a cornerstone of my identity pre-illness. Thankfully I can still share my recipes (and help other people tweak theirs) for now, and the hopes are some day I’ll be back to my kitchen-goddess persona.
Haul: Finally picked up my 3 parcels from the Post Office depot: Lookfantastic.com’s beauty advent calendar. I haven’t sneaked a peek at all at the contents on online reviews, I want it all to be a surprise! It’s bigger than I expected ?. Can’t wait until 1st Dec to open the first door! Also Verso moisturiser and eye serum (got it with a money off online code) and L’Occitane Divine Cream for the face that I got £10 off for. Very pleased!
Plans for the weekend: My breathing is affecting what I can do as my iron levels are so low and my iron infusion’s not until 9th Dec that I’m just going to take it easy until then and only do necessary stuff. Can’t tolerate iron tablets or syrup unfortunately.
Favourite Autumn pudding: Sticky toffee pudding. Not strictly an autumn one, more of a winter one, but we’re past the middle of November anyway lol.

It’s so yummy! Hmm well I haven’t received most of my items but so far, the lancome noel eye set is impressing me a lot. The grandiose mascara brush is easy to use. Mauvember and grenache are really lovely. Bite Beauty is pretty much the only lipstick line that moisturizes my lips. Khaki green is really nice for a unique green smokey eye.
Haul: No hauling for me unless it’s wine for Thanksgiving.
Plans: Jacksh•t! My husband has to work this weekend and we’re down to one car, so it’s going to be a Nextflix binge session weekend. Not even sure how we’ll be grocery shopping!

Haul: MAC lip pencil in Burgundy. Chanel’s Rouge Noir pulls very purple on my cooler skin tone, so I wanted something to pull out more of the brown and red. Didn’t get it quite as red as I’d hoped, but it still looks pretty.

Favorite falls dessert: Hmmm…pecan pie is pretty good. I like peppermint mocha, though, and that only seems to appear in fall/winter.

W/e, the usual. We got a small bonus at day job, so I think I’ll make a donation to Little Paws Dachshund Rescue. Keep a big lookout for the wolves ( I think they are coy wolves bred back to wolves, but they bloody well look full-on in the local pix & for the end of the d.c. cormorants. I mark my seasons by birds and food.
Dessert? IDK, but pomegranates have a season and it’s now! Oh, yum.

Haul, happy to say, nothing. After last weeks splurge on palettes, I need to use them and my walett needs to recover.
Weekend plans. I’m just going to take things as they come this weekend. Vacum the flat is needed, maybe trim and groom the dog a bit.
Fall dessert, not sure, probably creme brulée.

Weekend Plans: Tickets to the symphony on Saturday night. Supporting a local salon that is holding it’s holiday open house where they offer experience stations and 20% off Aveda products (holiday sets excluded). They also collect food donations for local pantries. I often find a great new product to give as a present or stocking stuffers. We’re also having our first snowfall!
Fave Fall Desert: Apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Delish!!

I know! I had picked up the BBU Eyes palette in store at @ Sephora right before I went to Nordstrom,and saw that one. It was honsestly the packaging 🙂 and it has a 5 star customer rating. Almost bought Greige. Then , I read the customer reviews and was like ” wait up” . I was on my post finding out about the DR thinks you have MS depression thing. I’ve not used the BBU either. But, it needs primer just to swatch. This past week I spent Fri thru Tues on bed rest from complications of a lumbar puncture. So, nothing got done!
