Haul: Tokyo Milk Tainted Love No. 62 Handcreme and Rollerball Travel Duo, Sephora+Pantone Universe Full Spectra Eyeshadow Palette in Day Break, MAC eyeshadow in Guacamole and Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade, OPI polishes in Alcatraz Rocks and Pussy Galore, The Body Shop travel size Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash, and NYX lipstick in Miracle.
I also got the Sephora iPhone 5 case which looks adorable and the earbuds which are pretty sucky.
Plans: More yard work. Try to finish planting some flowers in the front lawn.

Haul: Did major couponing at CVS this week: Revlon Bronzer, Revlon Nearly Naked powder, Revlon Nearly Naked foundation, Revlon Whipped foundation, Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Blush, Milani Coralina blush, Milani Champagne Toast eye pencil, a whole buttload (a scientific term lol) of Wet n Wild since it’s 40% off at Rite Aid. I think that’s all….

I want to buy a new moisturizer but idk which….I got difficult skin-oily and flaky at the same time with light to moderate acne >.< a bit sensitive too.
Plans…no plans 😀 Some nice men have been fixing my pipes and bathroom tub and sink all day long, yesterday, today and tomorrow so yeah, no shower for me 😀 (there's a huge whole in the wall and since I can't shower without creating a lake in the bathroom, I don't wanna risk it) 😀 funny

Haul: No makeup except an Lit Cosmetics sample haul I got from an MUA’er. Sooo much glitter now I can do a post and she gave me a generous amount as well.
I got my first proper dress form!!! (After 11 years of sewing I got it from overstock.com for $251CAN with shipping instead of the $452CAN it would have cost in store in Canada. O__o
Also order a room divider… for a back drop. 😉
Weekend plans: Last weekend I was at FanExpo for all 4 days, This weekend I have to go to a family wedding.
Do you have any hidden talents?: hidden… no, talents maybe… sewing, makeup/painting, and sculpting. <- are these talents because this is what I was built to do. But I spend my day working on a computer creating things for clients for print/web. lol

Haul: nothing (but Shopper’s Drug Mart is having their 20X the points event tomorrow, so I’m going to buy a few household things we need and the Smashbox CC cream and maybe Stila Rain eye shadow)
Weekend plans: moving our youngest from the house he lived in during his school term to the one he’ll be living in during this co-op term and then taking him out for a nice dinner. Sadly, on Sunday, we’ll likely be attending a memorial service for a friend from our yoga studio who was killed in a single vehicle crash (fortunately, she didn’t take anyone else with her)
Hidden talents? I’m not sure….I can make a souffle, which seems to be one dish that intimidates people; I sew a lot of my own clothing. That’s probably about it, I think…oh, and while I can’t do sudoku to save my life, I’m pretty good at crossword puzzles.
I’m opposite – I can do Sudoku but not crosswords!

Weekend plans: I’ll be meeting friends in town on saturday, and cleaning the house of sunday!

Haul: Nothing. Sigh, being on a no buy is so hard. I did buy some stuff for the flat though.
Weekend plans: The flat desperately needs tidying, but I’m hoping we can find some time to go out and relax a bit. Maybe go to the Reopening at the club up the road idk.
Do you have any hidden talents?: I can burp really, really loudly? Does that count as one? I’m still pretty good at holding long notes when singing, I guess, but my singing’s deteriorated a lot sigh.
What’d you buy for the flat?
Assorted little bits! A calendar and clock most notably – I was going crazy and forgetting the date. Perils of not having much of a routine gah. x_x Oh, and a lamp because for some reason the lights in the living room were pulled out before we moved in so we don’t have any light in the living space apart from what we get from the hall.
Haul: Benefit dandelion lipgloss. I have better ones in my stash.

Haul: I was very bad this week! I picked up a palette and lipstick from Marc Jacobs, one of the Guerlain Fall lipsticks AND an Illamasqua nail polish.
Weekend plans: Actually looks like it’s going to be fairly busy between a couple of social engagements and a lot of cleaning that needs to get done. Honestly, I’m overwhelmed with allergies and all I want to do at the moment is sleep and drink tea.
Do you have any hidden talents?: People seem impressed that I can apply lipstick or gloss without a mirror. Does that count? I used to get nicknamed the “human phone book” because I could remember numbers really easily, but no one really has need of that in the mobile phone era, so my talent is obsolete. If I have any others, they’re very well hidden, even from me.

You know what’s so scary about the mobile phone era, though? That we hardly memorize numbers now… like I don’t remember numbers at all, but the ones I still remember are the ones I learned pre-mobile phone!
Same with me about the phone numbers.
The polish is called Gothiqua. I think it might have been made especially for The Bay here in Canada, or at least it’s exclusive to them at the moment. It’s a dark, somewhat vampy berry colour with a fine teal shimmer. Love at first sight for me.

I just received my guerlain voyage powder yesterday in the mail and can’t wait to try it out. I also signed up for the Le Metier de Beaute VIP program and can’t wait to get the first box. Your review and the fact that they opened it up for 50 more people sealed the deal.
I just started online dating again. Thinking I might make a date this weekend just to try out my new powder and have an excuse to doll up.

Weekend plans: Heading to Arlington, VA tomorrow for my friend’s wedding! The 117 shade I mentioned above is for her. I’m doing her makeup.
Hidden talent: I can tie a knot in a cherry stem using my tongue. It’s a little weird. 🙂

Haul: e.l.f. Small Stippling Brush, and I just ordered NARS Ninotchka (blush) & Tuomota (multiple) on ebay. My budget was compromised due to some splurges for my daughter; she found some DCd dolhouse furniture & a furnished dollhouse on ebay, and begged for them, and since she asks for so little, I couldn’t say no…
Plans: Nothing… It’s the hottest it’s been all Summer, so we’re just staying in. Even laundry will have to wait, LOL!
Hidden Talent(s): I used to be a contortionist, but I’ve let it go over the years. I’m still pretty flexible, though.

Weekend plans: Helping my friend move house on Sat, then watching my boyfriends hockey semifinal that evening. Sunday is fathers day here in Australia, so heading over to have dinner with my in laws.

I also went by Whole Foods and bought 4 back-ups of my favorite lip balm (WF brand, organic, only $1.99), 2 Burt’s Bees cuticle cream (completely transformed the way my nails and cuticle look, it’s amazing, I rub it in ten times a day; excessive, I know); a jar of 100% unrefined shea butter for hands and feet and to go with it I bought the Ecotools Spa moisture gloves and socks.

Haul- bought the T3 blow dryer from Qvc and a clipless curling iron from my local TJ Max, also picked up the Cold Chemistry palette by Sugarpill. Oh also, from Sephora, the Alterna bamboo heat protectant, Shiseido facial cottons, Soap and Glory cleansing, Clinique concealer, and a Sephora prisma chrome eye shadow in beige.
Plans for this weekend, missed the beach today but hopefully tomorrow for the last beach weekend. Dinner tonight at PF Changs.

Weekend plans: Rearranged the living room today and we gave it a completely over the top cleaning. I may start on the bedroom tomorrow. We’re prepping for painting. After three years in this place, it may finally look like a home!
