Haul: UD Eyeliner Freak, MUFE Aqua Cream Shadow #53. Been eyeing these two for a few weeks- so excited!! Also picked up the Rhianna Hibiscus Kiss and Lustre Drops. Supposed to arrive today!
Weekend plans: Hopefully the weather stays nice and I can get a bike ride in!

Haul: UD Snare (FINALLY!!!), Bare Minerals The Scenic Route duo (love it); another jar of Eucerin Q10 face cream, L’Oreal Iced Latte (I’d been crazily wanting it and it wasn’t available in Canada so I got it last weekend in the US; sadly, I am not thrilled with it – too shiny/frost/garish and I think it’s the exact same shade as one they do sell here but with a different name). I also got a honkin’ big bottle of cuticle oil from Sally Beauty but I can’t recall the name – Secret Beauty or Beauty Secrets…something like that
Weekend plans: DD and her fiance have their Stag and Doe tomorrow night so I’m prepping food for that; they got possession of the house their house 2 days ago so I’ll probably go over at some point to help with unpacking and arranging of stuff; it’s also a great excuse for me to go to HomeSense and buy them all the bits and bats they still need! Had a blast there yesterday getting them cutlery trays, drawer and cupboard organizers and more tea towels in “their” colours)

I’ve wondered if they’re a Canadian thing. I’d never heard of one til a few years ago and to be honest, I’m not crazy about this “new tradition” but it seems that this has replaced the typical stag and it’s a fair bit more fun, it seems, and wholesome. Games, raffles and things and a casual meal. Often a fair bit of money is raised and the proceeds are generally toward the honeymoon (of course, back in my day, you took the honeymoon you could afford but then I’m totally from the last century and, as I say, things are changing)

Haul: 3 e.l.f. brushes, & a Sonia Kashuk Highlighter Stick in Desert Sands. The brushes were impulse buys, and I’ve been wanting to try the highlighter for some time.
Plans: My local mall is re-opening the children’s play area after 2 years, and there’s going to be a weekend of events, including a little “dance party” with Radio Disney, so we’re doing that Saturday. While I’m there, I may pick up something nice for myself; I had to return a blouse, which I *really* loved at H&M yesterday because I accidentally brought the wrong size to the register, and when I went back a couple weeks later, the store layout had changed, and I didnvt feel like trudging through everything. I think I can justify a makeup purchase with what I spent on the blouse, LOL, and I’m thinking of picking up either NARS Mandchourie, or some RT brushes at ULTA since they’re BOGO1/2.
Tech gadget: A calculator! I’ve always been horrible with numbers…

Haul: YSL Baby Doll mascara. Not sure I love it quite as much as Faux Cils, but it is really nice. I totally want to go back for the pink eye liner.
Weekend plans: OK, I have to say that I read yours as “take Mellan to Sunday brunch”, which sounded like great fun… This weekend I’m starting 10 days vacation, so it’ll be all about relaxing and having fun. Headed to a show tonight and after that I’ll just ease slowly into laziness.
What’s your tech device of choice?: I love my computer, but I have to say that the advent of smart phones has really changed my life. In a lot of cases, I find apps easier to use than going on a web site. Unfortunately, data plans in Canada remain expensive…
LOL! While I’ve taken Mellan to a restaurant a few times, and he’s been good, it’s kind of a hassle, and he really doesn’t get anything out of it except having to watch us eat.

i bought chanel mirifique. cost me 39 dollars after tax. had my eye on it easily over a year. expensive stuff, but i was sure i wanted it, it was just a matter of time. so i got it! pass on the armani/ysl sale.

Haul: I was lucky to have a working trip to Switzerland and I got some Catrice goodies – two lipglosses (medium pink and bright coral), three eyeliners (black, forest green and golden brown) and three eyeshadow palettes (neutrals, for purple smoky eyes and a nice one with three neutrals and a bright blue). A friend of mine introduced me to Catrice products, but I haven´t found them in Mexico, so I was excited to get these!
Weekend plans: Lunch at my best friend’s house!

Haul: (It’s a big one) Picked up Mac Riri Woo, Heaux, and Girl About Town today. I’ve been wearing Riri Woo all day and I adore it. It’s actually one of the most comfortable lipsticks I’ve worn in a while; it feels like it’s not even on. I’m gonna try out Heaux tomorrow. I also picked up UD’s Lucky, Covet (which is already sold out sadly), 1999, and Crash from their current online vintage liner sale and I adore them all. I’m gonna need to pick up seconds of Lucky and maybe 1999 since Crash seems similar to Delinquent to me. I’m also hoping to pick up the two shades of Lip Junkie polish UD has on sale.
Weekend Plans: I’m hoping to go to the movies with friends and I’m gonna be playing Adventure Time Monopoly with a friend tomorrow. I’m also hoping to sit down with my semi-new UD Smoked palette and try and figure out how to do some of those looks.
Tech Device of Choice: Probably my phone as that’s always on my person somewhere.

Haul: Well, I really wanted Burberry’s Fresh Glow, but apparently this product has MAC LE syndrome and is sold out everywhere. It’ll have to wait until it’s back in stock. 🙁 Just wound up getting a few routine products – Neutrogena Naturals makeup remover, Clean&Clear Blackhead Eraser scrub, Real Techniques eye shading brush, L’Oreal Infallible in Bronzed Taupe, and two NYX red lip liners…because you can never have too many of those.

I did my own make up for my wedding. Our wedding was in 1973 and I don’t think there were professional make up artists in our area. Looking back at the photos, including close ups, I think I did an excellent job.
Even now, I think I’d do my own.

Haul: I bought some body hair travel sizes last weekend for my businesstrip next week.
Weekend plans: I looked for summer trousers, did some research for my next mobile phone and tomorroew I will only enjoy one day off and get prepared for the next week. And maybe so some Zumba-Yoga-Pilates workout.
What’s your tech device of choice?: My 5-year-old Samsung notebook.
What are your must-haves for hair on the go?
Essential for me is a good shampoo. I either fill some of my daily shampoo in a smaller bottle or buy a smaller size. I went for a anti-grease shampoo this time. I don’t like the shamposos being offered in hotels. Showergels are normally okay.
Since I wear a mix of a bob and pixi, I need a styling creme, which I fill in a smaller pot. A smaller hair spray, which is not greasy is nice to have. Some bobby pins are usefull while taking off my makeup at night.
