This past week I totally revamped my skin care routine. I watched the Pixiwoo Body Talk video with Caroline Hirons. It made me totally rethink my skin care.
Morning Routine:
1) Take off eye makeup with MUFE sens’eyes
2) Cleanse skin with Perricone MD Hypoallergenic Gentle Cleanser and Clarisonic
3) Tone with Clarins Bright Plus HP Gentle Renewing Brightening Peel followed by Murad Hydrating Toner
4) Apply Peter Thomas Roth VIZ-1000 75% Hyaluronic Acid Complex
5) Moisturize with Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial and Neutrogena Retinol Eye Cream.
Morning
1) Cleanse with REN ClearCalm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser
2) Tone with Clarins Bright Plus Renewing Peel
3) Apply Peter Thomas Roth Hyaluronic Acid Complex
4) Moisturize with Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre and Neutrogena Retinol Eye Cream
The Korres, Embryolisse, and Neutrogena are products I have been using for a while. I did previously use a foaming cleanser and no toner. My skin always looked oily, but felt super dry. My makeup, by the end of the day, would just be floating on my skin and look horrid. I know it seems like an awful lot, but it has totally changed my skin. My makeup looks better and the acne marks that have plagued my skin are already fading.

Weekend plans: Nothing yet, but I’d like to go to the spa and get a massage.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?: Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla, Haagen Dazs’ Cappuccino Truffle and Midnight Cookies & Cream. Yum! 😀

✎ Haul: Rouge Bunny Rouge new Ubiquitous Magnitude Mascara. I wear brown mascara for day for the most part and purchased both the black and the colour almandine which is a really uber rich and gorgeous brown that emphasizes the green in my eyes. The mascara itself is length building high quality non flaking mascara that you would expect with an RBR product. Great stuff! Along with my mascara I received a 3 colour sample offering of their latest highlighting liquids. I’m sooo in loooove with these and it won’t be long before I succumb and buy at least 2 of them. The samples and my purchases arrived in this beautiful round black hat like box and it’s simply too pretty to toss so it is storing my favourite high use blushes. Also picked up Guerlain light diffusing primer. I vastly prefer Guerlain primers over Hourglass. They feel much lighter on my skin, just a personal preference. Last, but not least, a slew of nail polishes with Zoya Irresistible and Pixie dust collections and the Zoya mini collection.
✎ Weekend Plans: after a week of having trades people all over our barns with our current expansion project, I’m just looking forward to quiet.
✎ Favourite Ice Cream Flavour: I actually prefer just plain old soft serve vanilla from Dairy Queen.

Weekend plans: I’m working this weekend… in Cannes! Pretty sure whatever free time I have will be devoted to shopping. If the weather is good I’ll dangle my legs some more by the beach too 🙂
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?: Salted caramel! I try not to buy any because before I know it, half of the pot is down my stomach (so addictive)!
Haul: A few things… YSL Faux Cils liner in Sea Black, Nars blush in Boys Don’t Cry and my very first Dior Addict lipstick (Fashion Week). I can’t believe I haven’t bought these before!
Weekend plans: We have a 3-day weekend in Canada, which I will fill with copious amounts of relaxation and some writing. Probably some walks, too, since it’s supposed to be beautiful.
Favourite ice cream: I’m always the person who gravitates to the “weird” flavours… There was a place near where I used live that had a flavour called Roasted Marshmallow that was unbelievable (and did taste like roasted marshmallows). Of the more readily available flavours, I love lemon. There’s something about the combination of the tart citrus with cream and sugar that I adore.
Now I want ice cream.
As a fellow canadian I too hauled boys don’t cry- and nearly DID cry at the price, lol.
I picked up a few things from the MAC Marilyn Monroe reissue on Wednesday: Legendary blush, Love Goddess and Charmed I’m Sure lipsticks. I’ve only tried the blush and Love Goddess, but I love them both! We’ve got a rose parade and festival this weekend where I live, so I think Love Goddess will be perfect for my lips. 🙂 Have fun with your dad, Christine! (And my favorite ice cream flavor is Daiquiri Ice.)
■Haul: Oh boy… Lancome Hypnose STAR waterproof mascara, YSL Faux Cils Babydoll, OCC Lip Tar in Clear and Zhora, YSL Glossy Stain in #6, Prada Luna Rossa (this smells AMAZING)…I got samples of ELDW that I did not care for as well. I’m heading to the mall after work to get some Bobbi Brown foundation and want to go to Sephora and get another YSL stain. My husband is going to hurt me lol. I also bought a flat iron yesterday. WHEW. That’s a LOT.
■Weekend plans: Grocery shopping, hit the park with the kids, go to the movies, go to church, work on my crocheting. Maybe start my blog.
■What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?: Grocery store – definitely strawberry. Cold Stone – Strawberry Blondie (I think that’s what it’s called) and Apple Pie a la Cold Stone.
Haul: NARS multiple in Copacabana. Estee Lauder illuminating powder gelee in Heat Wave. IDK why I needed two new highlighters this week, I’m just in a highlighter mood lately. Essie Naughty Nautical and Bikini so Teeny.
Weekend Plans: After the excitement of mother’s day weekend last week I got nothing planned for this weekend.

Haul: I will pick up Chanel Pygmalion tomorrow 😀 .
Plans: Go to class, get a haircut and go out.
Ice cream flavor: I can´t say I love any other as much as I love chocolate, bitter, sweet or choco chip and of any other kind I just love it and gravitate towards it. In the fruity kind of flavor I tend to prefer strawberry and water based Ice cream but only when it comes to fruit flavors, I prefer milk based Ice cream in general otherwise.
Haul: I just came back from the mall, and well things didn´t go as expected, I wasn´t in love with Pygmalion after all. I don´t dislike it but I wasn´t interested enough. Then out of curiosity I started swatching lipsticks, glosses nail polishes and other pieces from the collection and the permanent line. I have to say, the limited edition grey stylo was very close to coming home with me, until I swatched some Rouge Coco shine and I found Bonheur…It was passionate, crazy love for me at first swatch. I asked the SA if they had it and they had one left, it was destiny lol 😛 . Bonheur came home with me and it now became my new holly grail product, I´m so happy to have it 😀 .

Weekend plans: Still working on that one wig. lol Final touches on my costumes before Anime North next weekend including custom mixing some body paint.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor: PC Candy Cane Chocolate Fudge Crackle but I only can get it during the winter. The rest of the year It’s Baskins & Robbins World Class Chocolate.
Oh and here is the boots I’ll be wearing for a long 14+ hour day next Saturday.

Haul: Revlon nail polishes in Delicious, Rainforest, Bonsai (all Colorstay), Creme Brulee and Enchanting, Chanel Graphite and Bel Argus polishes.
Weekend plans: Helping out a friend tomorrow, and then meeting with a model to discuss looks for an upcoming shoot. I might have a photo shoot on Sunday.
What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?: All of them? LOL. I would have to say cookies n cream or chocolate chip cookie dough. I got an ice cream maker a few months ago. You can imagine I will be making a lot of ice cream this summer!

Haul: Actually purchased quite a few things this week, i received my guerlain terracotta bronzing powder and blush duo in peach boy (super impressed with both products!) and i bought the hourglass tinted moisturizer along with the foundation brush, and then just today i picked up one of the ambient lighting powders (in dim i believe) along with the powder brush, i already love the powder so much im thinking of getting a few more of the shades that i was eyeing!
Weekend plans: Since it always rains on may long hear in manitoba i dont have too much planned, my bf is also leaving on a hockey trip so ill be alone for the weekend and following week, (gonna be so excited to NOT watch hockey every night LOL)
Favorite ice cream flavor: Probably mint chocolate chip, but i have a major sweet tooth so i couldnt say i really dislike any flavor of ice cream!

Haul: nothing! I’m still recovering after my haul a few weeks ago and don’t plan to buy anything else until Guerlain’s Terra Nerolia finally comes out! I am, however, very tempted by those re-released MAC Marilyn Monroe collection items at Macys that you tweeted about. I had REALLY wanted the 2 blushes, Legendary and The Perfect Cheek, when the collection came out but of course waited too long to jump on that. I really shouldn’t but maybe the re-release is a sign that I’m SUPPOSED to have them?? 😛 haha
Weekend plans: working on the blog and hanging out with my sister!

Weekend plans: Tomorrow I have to clean up the house and buy snack food for people coming over Sunday to play games and hang out. I also have to clean up because my best friend is coming on Tuesday to visit for a week 😀
Ice cream: Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia, hands down. I also love chocolate chip cookie dough and really good regular vanilla and chocolate (I tend to buy the mini cups from Haagen Dazs when they’re on sale). But Cherry Garcia is my all-time fave.
Haul: I had a voucher so I gifted a Armani ETK silk eye shadow to myself.
Weekend plans: Relax, play golf and have lunch with my family tomorrow.

Haul: Maybelline Color Tattoos Limited Edition: Shady Shores, Precious Pearl, and the lilac one I forget the name. I have so many color tattoos now. It is terrible. lol. Addicted. I wear them everyday.
Weekend Plans: Family came to visit this Saturday, we went and got some more odds and ends for apartment, and went makeup shopping again, went out to eat. Rest of the weekend is just cleaning.
Favorite Ice Cream: Does Lime Sherbert Count? I also love coffee icecream but rarely have it.
Haul: Nars Rotonde (love Boys Don’t Cry so I bought this one too),want to check out the new Tom Ford collection (what’s left of it, I heard it was selling out) and the new Bite Beauty cheek gelee at Sephora.

Haul: I’ve definitely been on a Chanel kick lately… I picked up two more of the stylo eyeshadows, “Blue Bay” and “Pink Lagoon”, one of the new nail polishes, “Azure” (LOVE!) and the double sided compact mirror that’s an online exclusive (I’ve been wanting it for a while now, so I finally caved). I also bought the new Dior Nail Glow and MAC kohl pencil “Teddy”.
Weekend plans: we went on a 5 mile hike om Saturday.
