Are glitter nail polishes worth the hassle?: Yes! In particular the new Zoya ones! I sosk my nail with a cotton ball first before trying to remove the polish. ^_^

I got MAC In the Abstract this week, and I also received MAC All That Glitters and NYX trio in Rock and Roll in a swap! NYX trios are super exciting! I’m going for a trip in the US next week, and I’ll probably break down and cry when I see MAC, Bobbi Brown, Sephora, and NYX!!!
My mum’s birthday is the same with yours! I’m Skyping her at the moment to wish her a happy birthday (I live in Belgium and she’s in Taiwan)! Happy birthday to yours too!

Haul: NARS Catfight lipstick (thanks for the swatches, the color is PERFECT and I’m a sucker for pinks), Lorac blush in Desire, which I chose over NARS’ blush of the same name, Guerlain Terra Cotta bronzer in 00, Smashbox lipgloss in Pulse, and a free gift from Laura Mercier that contained a foundation primer, eye primer, moisturizer, tinted moisturizer and mascara. It’s my first time using LM products and I’ve only used the two primers and mascara so far, but I loved them!
Weekend plans: Working all weekend! After the Cards won the world series my bar has been dead (everyone is still hungover I guess) so hopefully tonight we’ll get busy again so I can make some money!
Are glitter polishes worth it: No polish is worth it! Just kidding, but I never paint my nails because I have no patience. But glitter polished are cute so… Sure?

-Are glitter polishes worth the hassle? Yes. There are few other things you can wear on a daily basis that communicate, “Yes, you best believe I *am* a princess” without getting you into trouble or getting you funny looks. For that, they are worth the annoying clean off sessions or occasional massive flake off.

Big hauls this week! My Glitter & Ice order finally arrived – I got both beauty powders, all 3 paint pots, Snow Season MES, the Mineralize brush set and the Sultry lip set.
Boots had their great points event this week too, and I got Soap & Glory cosmetics on 3 for 2 – mascara, kohl, eyeliner, eyeshadow pencils, foundation and concealer. I also got several items from the No7 Limited Edition Christmas range, 3 Revlon nail polishes and Boots ’17’ metallic eyeshadow.
Oh, and my Models Own Beetlejuice nail polish collection arrived 🙂
Think I need to stop spending now lol.
I agree with you about the glitter polishes. They are worth the hassle sometimes, for special occasions, but I wouldn’t wear them on a daily basis because they’re so difficult to remove
So cute! In the cooler weather (due to medical problems I do keep my house warmer than the avg person) my beloved Chow Chow mix would form a ball like Mellan and wrapped her tail around her snout and body. She was a poof ball. LOL! Sadly to say she passed away last Sunday. Ketzia was 17!! I lost her 14 year old Black Lab mix step-bro in March. Their 1 yr old Rottenese step-sis is alone now and I would like to find her a playmate.
Haul: Nadda. Preparing for my Ulta rewards. 33! And I have no clue what to get!! Whole lotta NYX eyeshadows and a perfume??
Weekend plans: Search for a playmate for Sally. Sort through my closet room and cook a few meals. Maybe a trip to downtown with a friend.
Are glitter nail polishes worth the hassle?: I would say it all depends on the colour or the artwork. I love glitter but it sure can be a mess to take off … even with the foil method.
I almost got a Chow Chow mix when I was younger! They’re lovely dogs. I’m so sorry about your loss – at least she had an amazingly long life before she passed!

Are glitter nail polishes worth the hassle? They are to me. Glitter nail polishes can be very pretty/cool. It really is a pain to remove, though, if the glitter is very chunky.

Are Glitter Polish Worth it?: Some are. Others…not so much.
Haul: MAC Shimmermint eyeshadow, 2.5oz bottle of Armani Code (but I don’t really count it because it was a replacement for the one I used up).
Plans: Gotta do some early Christmas shopping, take my twin little sisters clothes and shoe shopping (growing out of their clothes way too fast!!) and make my stepfather a cheesecake because of his promotion.
I very rarely use glitter polishes just because of what a pain it is to remove them. I’m loving the OPI glitter ones from the Muppets collection, but I’m resisting buying them.
Haul: Not sure yet, gonna pick up some goodies during my long awaited shopping trip tomorrow! There is a big sale on at the department store my boyfriend works at! Yey!

I’m signing a lease to my new apartment this weekend! Goodbye noisy landlord playing loud music until 1 in the morning.
I’m not a fan of glitter nail polish as I change my polish to often to deal with the hassel of taking off glitter.
Haul: I was pretty restrained at Sephora, I thought – got the Too Faced newer version Smoky Eye palette, Sephora’s glitter eyeshadow “brush” (my final attempt to make Maui Wowie wearable!), Guerlain Lingerie de Peau foundation (I’ve now got FIVE liquid foundations on the go) – I am surprised by how much I like this, and a Shu Uemura eye lash curler!
Plans: had to miss the Eid celebration being put on by my Muslim students because a friend is arriving any time now from out of town to stay the weekend; Sunday, I might work out with my trainer but we really want to go to visit our youngest to take him out to celebrate getting a really plum co-op placement for his first year work term, which starts in January.
Are glitter nail polishes worth the hassle? I’ve never had problems with Zoya’s Roxy but this new one from MAC – Unconditionally Fabulous – has me reconsidering because it was a HUGE hassle to get off (I think it’s going over a coat of clear polish from now on).

Last night at the sephora party I got Boyfriend oil roller ball ( I can hardly smell it!!!) & truth to go wipes. I plan to purchase gurlain bronzer in 01 online. Tonight my two labs were driving me nutso so I went and got them two bones which they are enjoying right now. And I found out they are having a huge dog toy sale black friday so I’m going to skip on beauty things/household items for them : )
I must be having a lucky 11-11-11 b/c I’ve been wanting thebalm frat boy since you reviewed it; and I heard tj maxx had thebalm. I’ve been to a couple stores but tonight randomly decided to go to this larger one. I found Fratboy and the balm and the beautiful palette in the clearance (aka broken section) Neither had price labels on them. They gave me Fratboy for 2 bucks b/c it has a 1/4 inch dent down the side (its really strange actually) and the palette for $7 b/c a broken mirror and missing brush. YAY. Will go back b/c I love my mary-lou-manizer. Is thebalm going out of business? Sorry for the possibly boring story just real excited.

Christine, remember the post I asked which one you prefer, Garconne or Gala? Haha… I initially tried picked Gala up by mistake and was thinking if Garconne is worth the hassle to come to the store exchanging. My, when I saw the tube, it was so beautiful that my heart throbs. It’s love at first sight.
Weekend plans: Wrap-up my school projects and start studying for exams in two weeks.
