- Weekend plans: I think my mom is going to try and kidnap Mellan either this weekend or next week, so I have to enjoy him while I can! (It’s quite possible she loves him more than me, though only by a hair.) I expect we’ll also head to the local farmers’ market.
- Glossy or matte: I prefer glossy! I just like the way it shines and gives lips a fuller look.

No haul this week, as I need to save for the upcoming MAC Me Over collection. My list is quite long, and I’m really having trouble trying to trim it!
No plans for this weekend, other than just spending time with my kids and trying to keep out of the rain.
Glossy or matte: Glossy – I prefer the fuller lipped look it gives me.
Haul: I bought MAC Rebel lipstick, MAC Pinch Me Blush, and MAC Brow Pencil, Spiked. Thinking of getting some NYX stuff from cherry culture since they have 20% off this weekend.
Weekend plans: Resting and cleaning my apartment whenever I wake up!
Glossy or matte: Glossy! With sparkles 🙂 (Think MAC Dazzleglass)
Haul: MAC Me Over LE
Weekend plans: Date night with the hubby tonight, otherwise no plans. Just relaxing.
Glossy or matte: Depends on the color and the season. In summer I usually prefer something glossy, but not too much, in fall/winter I like matte as well.
Haul: NARS Key Largo duo, Tropic single, Purple Rain & Zulu polishes, MAC Dark Diversion fluidline. I may go back today and pick up Take Root CCB.
Weekend Plans: My apartment looks like a tornado hit it. Major cleaning, and I want to try and organize a makeup lesson before school starts again.
Glossy or matte: Matte. My lips are pouty enough to avoid gloss.
Btw, I promise not to tell Shaun about the shower gels if you don’t tell my BF about my MAC purchases. I just received my back-up of Jealousy Wakes and Evolution Revolution. He collected the mail but doesn’t know what’s in the box!

Yesterday I got MAC Stunner blush from the Mac Me Over collection. I like it a lot.
Haul: theBalm shadylady vols 2 and 3, 4 overshadows. MAC: outre e/s, equilibrium and stunner blushes, dark diversion fluidline, 2 226 brushes.
weekend plans: dinner/movies saturday night. we were supposed to go visit our friends and their baby sunday but we might be getting hurricane irene booo.

Haul: Ordered some nail polishes from Butter London but they haven’t arrived yet. Can’t wait – I’m on a total nail polish kick at the moment 🙂
Weekend plans: Avoid alcohol (I’m trying for a month without a drink)! Might go and see the new Conan film.
Glossy or matte: Totally depends. Usually not completely matte but not uber-glossy either.
Haul: Shu Uemura eye liner refill cartridge and two new pairs of shoes! Hope to haul more next week 🙂
Weekend plans: More shopping and hauling! Some touristy sight seeing here in HK. And to stuff myself silly. I want to eat good food.
Glossy or matte: I like glossy lips too. For me, it looks healthier if it’s shiny, I dunno 🙂
I went on a bit of a spree yesterday at MAC, especially with the new collection…
Haul: Dark Diversion fluidline, Carbonized and Outre eyeshodow, Offshoot lipstick, MSF in Dark, and Stunner blush, then I stopped at Sephora and picked up Albatross which I’ve been wanting for quite some time but couldn’t justify purchasing it.
Weekend plans: Head to Minnesota to go to the State Fair with my husband’s family!
Glossy or Matte: Definitely glossy!
Haul: The MAC 226 brush & translucent powder compact..then I’m on a ban!!
Weekend plans: Where I live in Philadelphia, we’re currently preparing for Hurricane Irene, so it looks like a weekend full of September Issues, eating, and sleep!

I controlled myself and didn’t get that many makeup products this past week.
Haul: Mac’s 226, Stunner and Summerfruit.
Weekend plans: Relaxing for the last time before school starts next week.
Glossy or mate: If something in between is not available, then I go for glossy and apply in moderation =).
Haul: MAC Me Over: Runaway Red, Rebel, Oh, Oh, Oh, and Rebel l/s. Socialight l/g, Dark Envy and Midnight Blue f/l, and Golden Gaze from Semi Precious.
Weekend: GNO!!!!
Glossy for the most part, but if it’s a bright red or pink, I like the matte look.
Haul: theBalm Muppetes palette, 2 MAC 226 Brushes, Dark Diversion fluidline, Peachstock lipstick and I back to MAC’d for Club eyeshadow.
Also,ladies, did you know MAC no longer takes makeup wipe containers or eyelash boxes for B2M?
Really! I think I have 10 makeup wipe containers saved, boo!
I find MAC policies on what they accept for B2M varies so much by region and even store to store! I would definitely still go to your local store and ask them. The MAC store I go to accepts the depotted eyeshadow case (without the silver pan) whereas I know some MAC stores want the silver pan in it before they’ll accept. So just ask!
That’s odd. I backed to MAC yesterday also and they took the wipes packaging.
Haul: Sue Devitt Primer.. I love it! Its the best kept SECRET ever!
Weekend plans: Argh, we are in line with Hurricane Irene.. I’m less than thrilled..
Glossy or matte: Depends! if its red, i want matte.. sometimes i associate glossy with greasy or sticky!

Weekend plans: Initially was supposed to be my sister’s bachelorette but with Irene coming that has been cancelled. So week end plans will probably watch movies and eat popcorn at home with a book.
Glossy or matte: Depends on occasion.
Thanks to the two-day shipping code, I’ve already received my MAC Me Over stuff! I picked up lipglass in Social Light, fluidline in Dark Envy and the 211 brush (first brush I’ve bought in a loooong time). I also got an order from Morgana Cryptoria. I’ve been curious about her lipbalms, so I picked up Amaranth, Hathor and Holographic Cauldron. Also got lipstick in 24k Pumpkin and several sale e/s: Jolly Roger, Nightmare, Lapis Lazuli and a couple of LE’s. LOVING every bit of this! These all arrived yesterday, so playing with them today has been a lot of fun.
Haul: MAC #226, Fluidline in Avenue, Lipglass in Explicit, UD Naked and 15th Anniversary e/s palettes (it’s been a busy week!)
Weekend plans: packing my apartment for a big move next week, and headed to my local Inglot store for my first haul!
Glossy or mattes: glossy! i have full lips, and love when they shine!
Haul: MAC Offshoot lipstick and Curvaceous gloss. I like how natural they look on me. Sometimes I need a natural lip to offset a bold eye and a lot of my “neutrals” are very brown.
Weekend plans: Eye doctor, writing, and buying cat food. Yeah, I’m single.
Glossy or matte: Glossy! I like the matte look, but my lips are often dry so I can’t pull it off.

Weekend plans – Riding out the hurricane with my doggie, Cosmo. DH had to leave because they pulled all the ships out of port. Hoping we don’t have to evacuate but I’m ready either way.
I prefer glossy, matte usually looks terrible on my and always end up being rather drying.

Weekend: I’m supposed to be out of state playing redneck drinking games. We’ll see if that comes together. 🙂
Glossy or matte: Both! I prefer matte for dark shades and glossy for brighter ones.

Weekend plans: Chillax with my wonderful husband. It’s been a crazy and draining week; a lot of bad news has come our way.

Weekend plans: A good bit of World of Warcraft, having a tasting party tonight, and a Dungeons and Dragons game on Sunday…yeah, I’m a dork! 🙂
Glossy or Matte: While I enjoy a matte finish in any beauty product for a twist of “something different”, broadly I prefer glossy. It just calls attention better, and gives a polished look.
I got a few MAC items this week, the new pressed translucent finishing powder, painterly paint pot, and viva glam VI lipstick, love all of them!
Haul: I got Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Romance and Illamasqua blush in Hussy…I also got a few Asian lipsticks I ordered a couple weeks ago in the mail.
Plans: Going to the mall with my mom tomorrow (3rd time this week…I practically live at Valley Fair lol). Other than that no particular plans although I have a feeling I’ll be going to the mall again with my husband and son lol

From the drugstore, I got Physicians Formula Matte Collection Quad in Quartz Quartet & Happy Booster Blush in Rose, Wet n Wild Coloricon palette in Comfort Zone, an Ecotools smudge eyeliner brush and a brush set I’m really excited about because it comes with an angled eyeshadow brush & finishing brush I can’t wait to try.
Weekend plans: I know I definitely need to wash my car this weekend.

I hauled Missha’s Time Revolution White Cure Real Expert Serum for 40% off last night on their website! & I also received a free BB Cream as an introductory gift. I’m a happy camper! I’ve always wanted to try BB Cream!
I work Saturdays from 6a to 2p. But afterwards, I’m going to revamp my closet and pack a few things – I am moving to California in October! 🙂

I passed by the Philosophy counter at Nordstrom yesterday, and Harvest Spice smelled so dang good. I didn’t like Autumn Air that much, but I Love Candy Corn was surprising nice, considering that I’m not all that crazy about candy corn.
I refrained from buying any since I bought Frosted Animal Cracker a few weeks back. Now THAT scent is a must-buy. I hope it doesn’t sell out before I can buy a back-up… or three 😉
Haul: I bought some MUFE makeup, some rituals showercremes, the Beauty Blender and a MAC Refill in Blace Type. Tomorrow I visit my local rituals store and I am sure I will also do a haul over there.
Weekend plans: I just came home from a city trip, so I feel a little exhausted and I am looking forward to have a quiet and relaxing weekend. Maybe I will meet friends tomorrow, but that has not been confirmed yet.
Glossy or matte: I prefere glossy, but not over the top. Sometimes a matte or satin finish is just the perfect look.

Haul: I did a Mac Me Over haul! I got Carbonized, Creamy Bisque, Moleskin eyeshadows, Stunner blush, and Midnight Blue eyeliner. And I was lucky that I got one of the Semi Precious MSF’s (Rose Quartz, I think)! I also got Bombshell lipstick.
Weekend plans: Redbox, Pizza, and Booze with the boyfriend.

Haul : Pair of louis vuitton jeans for my boyfriend as a present for our religious festival next week, which is really bad on my wallet as i sould be saving for the make me over and the collection with the paint pots.

Matte – I love matte now! i never used to because i had really dry lips, but now that thats all sorter i cant get enough of matte colours, my fave are the nars velvet matte lip pencils, i cant get enough of dolce vita

What I hauled this week..
From Tokidoki: –the Hercolino palette (it’s super freaking cute!) It has reviews for poor pigmentation, but if you pat it on with a brush, it’s basically opaque. 🙂
— Inferno bronzer in Royal Pride… I’ve never used bronzer before, but oh my GOD this stuff is awesome!! I use in tandem with Luminosa powder
***I also used my Beauty Insider points to get this Buxom Passport set that came with a full-sized Buxom lipgloss (April), a mini Big & Healthy Lip Stick (Sydney), and a mini Buxom mascara. I HIGHLY recommend going to Sephora this weekend and grabbing one of these sets. ***
Sephora Liner brush. It was $11 and I don’t know how to use one of these, and tiny brushes always fray really bad for me so I don’t want to spend $30-40 on one.
And then I cashed-in some eyeshadow cases for Back to Mac to get the last Chatterbox.
Also, my mom, who is not that much into makeup, got like a million things at Sephora! She got some CoverFX foundation, 2 Tarte smudgy-eyeliner-thingies (plum and bronze), Tarte lash primer, and Tarte mascara.

Weekend Plans – maybe the Italian Festival or the Egyptian Festival?

I had a MAC haul…I bought 2 fluidlines – Avenue and Dark Envy. I am wearing Dark Envy today and I love it! I also bought Moleskin and Outre eye shadows…
My haul this week was three of the milani baked blushes in red vino, fantastico mauve, and dolce pink. I also picked up three of the china glaze halloween polishes in crimson, near dark,and haunting and I picked up street chic from the metro collection. I also got my hands on a maybelline polish from their fall line in notorious navy.
I live on the east coast in Massachusetts so my plans are to stay safe as hurricane Irene blows in.
I can’t wear lip products even some balms dry my lips out horribly.

Haul: Fruit Punch. An awesome translucent red-pink Maybelline pop stick that look like the DuWop Iced Teas. It leaves a nice shine and tint, like I just ate a popsicle! I also got the Jordana Easyshine glossbalm. I love it! I want them all!

Haul: Viva Glam V; Mac me over collection: eyeshadows in mythical, Carbonized, and Creamy Bisque, 2 eyeshadow sticks in Tundra and Heirloom. Then got 2 pairs of jeans from American Eagle. Also since the borders book company is nationaly closing down i got some books for really good deals:) And got my mom to buy mac!!
Weekend: most of my family is going to a baseball game tommrow but a sister and I are staying home and i am going to get some clothes and shoes and such to get ready for school. (enjoying my last weekend w/o homework!!)

Haul: Went to the outlet mall today and found a MAC gloss I missed out on in “Sweet Tart” along with some pigments. Then stopped at Ulta to claim my rewards certificate and ended up with some Essie polish, Orly polish in an amazing Peach color, Too Faced primer, Too Faced glitter glue and Real Techniques brushes.
Weekend Plans: Took hubby to the airport, Pure Barre class, groceries, hanging out, catching up with TV shows and relaxing at the pool.

Weekend plans: Going to San Francisco with my boyfriend, which is two hours away from where I am. It’s the last weekend before we go back to school in our 4th year of college.
Glossy or matte: Slightly glossy. But not so glossy that it looks oily, if that makes sense.
