Happiness is a lab that owns your heart!
Haul: I know I said I wasn’t buying anything but these were cheap – Hard Candy Duo eyeshadow in High Maintenance (mostly I got it because EVERY other time I’ve looked for it in the past year, it’s been sold out) and CoverGirl lipstick in Fervor, I think (it was one of the colours Christine reviewed) – it’s quite deep and I’ll be saving it for fall!
Weekend plans: 3rd birthday party for my 3 year old great nephew tomorrow in Toronto then working more on our garden – it’s coming along so nicely – and helping DH install the restored/reproduced trim-work in our house.
ooops! Forgot “must have weekend beauty product” – probably tinted moisturizer with SPF or just plain SPF product – Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer or Lise Watier Sun Smart for my face, Vichy SPF 60 for my body.
Haul: Urban Decay Anniversay Palette, Urban Decay Mini Liner Set, Revlon Scented Nail Polish in Cotton Candy and Cherry, Essie nail Polish in Midnight… Tokidoki Shadw Palette, Urban Decay makesup remover, Crown Blush Brush Dual Fiber. Havent shopped like that in a while!
Weekend plans: Spend time with my little sister, maybe head to the beach.
Must-have weekend beauty product: ESO Lip Balm for sure! This summer heat makes my lips chapped 🙁
Haul: I finally got my Bloggers’ Obsessions order! Three lipglosses, Caqui, Sonoran Rain, All of My Purple Life, and of course Jealousy Wakes e/s. JW is an interesting, almost duochromic colour. I like it better on me than for instance Surf USA. Thanks a lot, Christine!
I also got Sigma Eye Shadow Palette in Flare, Rebel l/s as BtoM, and on sale a mini Orly in Meet Me Under the Mistletoe.

Must-have: My Neutrogena Natureluxe Foundation. Its so silky on, it’s perfect for summer!
haul: My aunt just got back from a trip to the US with loads of MAC goodies for me… I couldn’t help because the prices in dollars are SO convenient for us Europeans. So I got lipsticks in Vegas Volt, Pink Nouveau, Craving and Crosswires, powder blushes in Coygirl, Breath of Plum, Tenderling and Fleur Power, a pro blush palette and a 224 brush. Loving all of them. If I bought this much stuff here I would have spent more than double the price.
weekend plans: trying some editorial-style make-up on and getting ready for my graduation ceremony that will be next week in London!
must have weekend beauty product: any bright lipstick will put me in a great mood!

Haul: I got MAC Play Time from the Quite Cute collection after I noticed it randomly showing up in the LE lipsticks on the MAC site. Anybody who missed it when it was sold out can snag it now.
Weekend plans: Just house stuff. It’s been over 100 for like 30+ days so I’m staying inside.
Must have: I love MAC Lip Gelees for a light hint of sparkly color with minimal eye make-up on the weekends.

This week I got MAC Rose Quartz MSF, Big Bounce Shadow in Trophy (I’m told it goes great under the Semi-Precious MES), pigments in Genuine Orange, Royal Flush (old style jar) and Teal (old style jar).
I currently have no plans for the weekend, but it’s forecast to be a hot one so I’ll probably be trying to stay indoors in the shade as much as possible.
Must-have weekend beauty product? Sleep!!!
Haul: Models Own polishes in Champagne and WAh Smash-Up Black, MAC Musky Amethyst lipstick from the Semi-Precious collection (I couldn’t help myself!)
Weekend plans: Watching a marathon of Six Feet Under, probably singing loudly and obnoxiously since I have the house to myself 🙂
Must have weekend beauty product: Musky Amethyst! I will be wearing it to death.
Haul: MAC Gem of Roses, MUFE Rouge Artist Intense in #11 (not loving the color or the dry formula – no matter how long it lasts), YSL Faux Cils mascara, and Dior Rose Diamond (LOVE LOVE LOVE!)
Weekend Plans: Finish a history paper (lame!), fill out grad school applications, and hang out with the boyfriend and friends
Must Have Weekend Product: SPF, Jack Black lip balm, and my new Rose Diamond that I’ve been wearing every day that gives a beautiful glow 🙂
Haul: MAC She Who Dares eyeshadow! I finally found one on Spektra. So happy!
Weekend plans: Hide from Carmageddon by watching the end of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and playing the demo for Catherine.
Must-have weekend beauty product: My Aveeno SPF30 moisturizer.

My weekend plans are cleaning my room and maybe hitting up the Guerlain counter at Bergdof’s. My life, it is thrilling.
Haul: NARS powder trio including Orgasm blush, Albatross higlighter and Laguna bronzer: My new makeup essential for vacation and travel! Picked up two of the new Chanel eyeshadow formula and are LOVING them as well. Also received my first 10-pan Inglot palette, which includes my hand-picked highlighting shades as well as greens, teals, purples and blues…Loving their pearl eyeshadows!
Weekend plans: Taking my little sis to see the last installment of Harry Potter, then tackling the painstaking process of giving my dog a haircut (which I’ve been putting off for a solid month). I’d take him to a groomer, but that’s $60 I could save for the upcoming MAC collections! LOL.
Must have weekend beauty product: Any eyeshadow palette with bright shades in it…I usually experiment with bolder looks on weekends! I’ve been reaching for my UD Book of Shadows Volume III most often lately.
Haul: Pur Minerals eyeshadow in Midnight Jade and NARS velvet lip pencil in club mix (stepping outside my MAC comfort zone)

Must have weekend beauty product: I usually let my skin “breathe” unless I’m going out so I like my MAC fix and plenty of moisturizer.
Haul: Urban Decay 15th Anniversary eye shadow palette (just got it in the mail!) and MAC 109 brush. I tried getting some of MAC products for the Nordstrom anniversary sale, all sold out by 5:50am. Boo.
Weekend plans: testing out the new palette, birthday party and hanging with my family.
Must-have weekend beauty product: sunscreen and lip balm.
Haul: All from MAC Semi Precious: l/s Gem of Roses, Warmth of Coral blush (loving it!), MES Golden Gaze, Hint of Sapphire and Rare Find, and an empty MAC quad.
Weekend Plans: doing groceries for the entire week, watch a movie and going out for sushi on sunday.
Must have weekend product: my BB-cream from skin79, gives me a natural glow and evens out the red spots in my face without a cakey foundation look.

Haul: MAC Gem of Roses l/s, Natural Flare Cremesheen Glass, Semi Precious Pearl MSF, Smoked Ruby, Faux Gold & Rare Find e/s. I’m in love with Semi Precious Pearl and the obsessive compulsive freak in me loves that when the compact is closed, the MAC logo is centered right over the swirl in the middle of the MSF. It looks so cool. 🙂

Weekend beauty product: don’t have one, my routine stays the same in the weekend. When I have to be in the sun, I like Hawaiian Tropic spf 50 I love the way it smells!

Haul: I am really trying to cut back and use up my untrieds, but could not stand it, I had to order Zoya’s Mirrors collection – the spoons are not ready to ship yet with each order free of all the fall shades, so I added the Smoke spoons to my spoon order already in and running. I got about 9 other polishes in the mail this week – assorted from eBay. Finally I bought Too Face Pink Leopard Bronzer having been lemming it for years!
Weekend plans – get help to fix the pole in my closet that the side cups broke so it fell down.
Must have weekend beauty product: Ummmh – maybe it’s not to buy but to FIND where my full unused bottle and my half used bottle of PTR PM retinol got shoved to! I cannot find either one of them and KNOWN they are here!
Haul: from the Lime Crime 35% off sale- Candy Eyed shadow primer and Coquette lippie. While I still don’t like the company itself, the primer is absolutely amazing- makes my shadow way more vibrant and long-lasting than UDPP. And I love the lipstick, but unfortunately I got a bad one that smells nasty.
Now just gotta decide what to do…I can’t get an exchange, since they won’t be in stock again til August. Not really wanting a refund, since then I’ll have to pay full price to order a new one. Soo I don’t know…

Haul- ahhh finally hauled!!! MAC Gem of Roses. MUFE aqua eyeliner in dark purple. Korres lip butter. OPI Swimsuit… nailed it! Along with pedi aha scrub and new pumice paddle. I also grabbed the last MUFE VIB bag in the Toronto area according to Sephora said!
Weekend plans include picking out stone for my patio at long last!!! Hurrah! And learning this iPad functionality more. Pardon any typos 🙂

Must-have Weekend Beauty Product: The lazy girl’s makeup: BB Cream. I love this stuff. I put it in random places around the house so whenever I feel like going out but don’t really want to go through the whole makeup routine, I’d just take a small tube of this along and apply it in the car. Sometimes, I just apply this, MSFN, mascara, and tinted lip balm.
Haul: Illamasqua Dixie (I’ve always wanted this little thing!)
Weekend plans: Going to the movies with the boyfriend, reading and just relaxing

Today I went downtown and explored Lush for the first time, and picked up a few goodies! I got myself two bath bombs, and a bubble gum lip scrub..then on the way back to our car (you have to go through a little mini mall to get to tha parking garage) I went into a German drug store also a first for me, and I picked up a new lip stick from the brand P2 in Rodeo Drive which is a really pretty nude color..I love all my new goodies, and I will def be checking out more of the German brands of make up because the one I picked up today is great quality and substantially cheaper than the American drug store brands I have been buying..it was only about $2!!

Haul: I got Urban Decay’s Anniversary shadow collection (thanks for the heads-up, Christine!), some MAC brushes, some more of the permanent eyeshadows and a Pro Pan of MAC’s Blushbaby. I researched each item here in the Swatch Gallery, by the way.
Plans: Clear out the basement at our old house. I found old makeup from the 1980’s, bleh!
Must have makeup product: Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Stash and MAC’s Grain e/s. Yes, I’m hard-core enough to put on makeup to do heavy lifting. She who is without sin can cast the first Shimmerbrick…as long as I can keep it ;-P. I’m a light-medium….lol.
OK, so it’s Sunday…. but I did pick up some Lancome Bi-Facil (best eye makeup remover I’ve ever tried and this is my first full-size bottle), a tube of Definicils mascara, and some Smashbox foundation primer, all during Shoppers Drug Mart’s one-day 20X the Optimum points sale. The sales associate gave me a lot of samples, mostly Clarins and Lise Watier, which I’m looking forward to trying out. 🙂
I worked all weekend because my days off are during the week.
If you want warm weather, Christine, you can have ours… 31 Celsius right now and I am in a fifth-floor apartment without air conditioning. It’s horribly hot in here.
