Haul: MAC sheen supreme lipstick-Look At Her, Tarina Tarintino Mascara, Sephora by OPI polish-Rumba Romance. I also need some body wash so I may have to get one of those Philosophy 3 in 1s.
Weekend plans: I’m also going to a graduation and cleaning my apt since I’ve been neglecting it during my last week of work (YAY)
Beauty brand that always excites you: I love MAC! A lot of people don’t agree but I’ve always found that their products work very well for me!
Haul: Carnaby St had a huge shopping event (20% off), so of course I headed straight for Illamasqua and snagged 2 eyeshadows, a cream pigment, and a lipgloss 🙂
Weekend plans: Studying for my last exam next Thursday. Oh, and a bit of shopping on Regent’s St. on Sunday.

Beauty brand that always excites me: MUFE, Nars and Mac
Haul: Not much, a few cheapie Lip Smackers from the dollar store to keep in my desk drawer at work. Ordered some stuff from Avon: Avon Clearskin Pro steps 1 and 3 (the scrub and the facial lotion), and also Avon’s Satin Glow Absolute Glow Gel (co-worker’s daughter is my avon lady, and co-worker was showing off her awesome fake tan so I was jealous). All these items were on sale this campaign 🙂
Weekend plans: Samba practice, 5K road race (Bluenose Marathon FTW!), getting together with the poi spinning group to learn some new tricks, ballet class… it’s a long weekend here in Canada 😀
Beauty Brand that Always Excites You: I’ve been on a big nail polish kick lately, so my recent trips to the drug store have found me ooohing and aaaahing over polishes, especially OPI and Essie 🙂 Neither can do wrong in my books right now!

Haul:
Three products that didn’t work and I can’t return because of our policies: a primer, a dark circle concealer that makes me yellow and a regular concealer that is too dark for me.
A concealer I have been using for a long time that, even though it settles into the fine lines under my eyes (which is why I’m always hunting for a new one), is still worlds better than the other.
Weekend plans: dinner with my brother and sister-in-law that are coming to town today. Other than that, don’t really know.

NYX ‘Orange Passion’ tinted lip spa, lip lacquer pots in ‘Coral-licious’, ‘Ultra Violet’ and ‘Simply Red’, soft matte lip creams in ‘Amsterdam’ and ‘Monte Carlo’ and lipsticks in ‘Gardenia’, ‘Doll’, ‘Eucalyptus’, ‘Fire’, ‘Fusion’ and ‘Snow White’.
Nothing exciting planned for this weekend, just the usual household chores. Unless of course the predictions by Harold Camping are correct and ‘The Rapture’ occurs tomorrow LOL.
Haul: Ordered and returned NARS Schiap and Sweet Charity…returned both 🙁 Might go look for something today, once I see what everyone else is hauling 🙂
Weekend plans: Relaxing, going to a Graduation party, a couple hours of work, and seeing Bridesmaids with my hubby 🙂

Also from Sephora picked up the NARS eye primer, Turkish Delight LG, and The UD All-Nighter setting spray.

Weekend Plans: I am almost done with school! I just have to take an online final exam (which can be done in 2 parts), and finish reading “The Plague” by Albert Camus (my final in class exam is on Tuesday and is based on this book). Aside from these activities, I will relax a bit and give myself a well deserved pedicure. Christine, did I tell you I got into NYU?
Beauty brand that excites you: Wet n Wild, because the quality of the products and the cheap prices put me over the moon. I don’t even need to wait for a sale to buy them, but when there is a sale I feel like Christmas has come early. 🙂 NYX is the runner up, but I wish their eyeliners last longer for me.

Haul: A box of stuff from MUFE that I haven’t opened yet – I don’t quite remember what I got. Eyeshadows, brushes, HD blush (finally). It’s sitting on my lap in the box still (Fedex JUST dropped it off but I need to finish my morning visit to Temptalia before I open it! LOL)
Weekend plans: Today is the third day of REALLY nice weather up here so if it holds, something outside! Otherwise tonight we’re hosting a big Italian food feast and watching the Godfather. “Come as your favorite Italian stereotype” seems to be the developing theme. I had my first run-in with a self-tanner and I look like a Simpson character. LOL!

Aveda is probably the only brand that I get excited about to the degree that even if I don’t really like what they put out, I still like it anyway. LOL!

HAUL: Ordered two sponge-tip eyeshadow brushes from Becca’s website. Sponge-tip brushes are so hard to find these days! Also ordered three bottles of my all-time favourite perfume – MyQueen by Alexander McQueen. So sad that it’s discontinued.

Haul: Entire line of Pangea Organics skincare for my combination-oily skin! Super excited to try everything out. Also, from Hautelook I decided to try out some Lotus Cosmetics. I had never heard of the brand before but they are USDA certified organic which is awesome, so I got some mineral foundation and setting veil.
Weekend Plans: I have a graduation open house to attend and a slow-pitch softball game.
Beauty Brand that Always Excites Me: I’m pretty fickle with my cosmetics and skincare, I always want to try something new. Lately, I have decided to switch to all organic and natural products. So far, I am in love Pangea Organics, but I’m sure I will discover many more organic/natural brands that I will love just as much.

Haul: Regardless of all the bitching and moaning I did about the NYX debacle, I put their little 50% off cop out code to good use. I needed to get SOMETHING out of that mess. So I picked up an HD foundation in soft beige, HD concealer in yellow, lip pencil in orange, megashine lipglosses in perfect red and african queen, loose powder in lavender, concealer jar in beige, blushes in mocha, stone, and natural, and a few neutral pearl mania pigments. It set me back $47…it’s not the $18 it would’ve been but I’d probably end up buying all of it anyway.
Also took advantage of Murad’s F&F sale and picked up a time-release acne cleanser, essential c toner, and anti-aging moisturizer with SPF 20.
Weekend plans: Outing for a friend’s birthday party Saturday night, relaxing.
Beauty brand that always excites you: I’m gonna go out on a limb here and just say MAC. They’re pretty much the only brand that come out with a new collection every 2 weeks, usually with at least one thing I can get excited about. Also, Inglot to a certain extent…but it’s hard to get excited about something you can really only see online. I hope they open up a store in the Baltimore/Washington area soon.

Haul: Didn’t buy a whole lot this week. Laura Mercier Topaz e/s, Nars Little Darling l/s, Nars Cruising l/s, AmazingCosmetics Concealer (backup), MAC MSF in Blonde, Brunette and Redhead (all from eBay), MAC Wondergrass e/s.
Weekend plans: Play WoW, relax, maybe do some baking (I’ve been craving red velvet cupcakes this past week)
Beauty brand that always excites you: I don’t really know. I get excited by makeup in general. If I had to pick one brand I guess it would have to be MAC. Those new collections always sound so exciting, but then I see the swatches and get disappointed lol. And China Glaze. Love the formula and love the colors.
Haul: well, I havent hauled anything since before I went on Vacay-but I would like to haul those MUFE liquid liners but the Sephoras (thats plural!) where I live dont have them in! 🙁
Plans for the Weekend: No concrete plans for tomorrow, sleep in, get my nails done. Sunday Im going to see Bridesmaids with a bunch of friends Im excited!

Haul: Rouge Coco Shine in 44 Sari d’eau after seeing you swatch it earlier this week. Its my third coco shine and I’m loving it the most so far. Also NARS Laguna body illuminator. I also fell for the 7 for 35 + get another item free at Victoria’s Secret and got a free summer tote 🙂
Weekend plans: Spending time with the boy and his family 🙂

Brand: Honestly, it’s always going to be MAC. I’ll dabble with other brands but I always come back to MAC
Haul: TheBalm’s Balmbini palette. I got it specifically for the Insane Jane eyeshadow, which isn’t available on its own (a shame, as it’s gorgeous). I’ve already got 3 of the other products in the palette (Mary Lou Manizer, Jealous Jordana eyeshadow and Down Boy blush, which was a freebie) but I love this Insane Jane so much and I figured the palette itself is really slim and handy for travel or tossing into my gym bag.
Weekend plans: Help MIL out (her health’s been not so hot and she’s had a battery of tests this week and a dreadful cold to top it off; I’m cooking up some of her favourites so she’ll have food for the next few days AND EAT!!!) It’s a holiday weekend here in Canada and we’re having friends for golf and dinner on the Monday, assuming it isn’t pouring with rain (the weather report is still somewhat iffy).

Oh and flying to the Bay Area for a birthday celebration- Woohoo I’m hitting all my fave restaurants.
Haul (Part One): Chanel Soleil tan de Chanel (A couple of girls at different Chanel counters said it is being discontinued, so I finally took the plunge and bought it), Essie Van D’Go and Castaway, a dress and belt from White House Black Market, earrings from Urban Outfitters, bangles from Windsor, and Zigi Soho white braided sandals all for my boyfriend’s cousin’s wedding I’m going to in June. Part 2 is coming next week and part 3 is coming in June.
Plans: Riding tomorrow, then hopefully seeing Midnight in Paris with my boyfriend and some friends tomorrow night, then riding again on Sunday.
Brand: I always love Chanel and Nars.
