I got MAC Chili lipstick. I’ve bought about 6 MAC lipsticks within the past few weeks. I have an addiction!
Haul: A Rock and Republic lipgloss and two eyeshadows from Hautelook.
Weekend Plans: Work, attend my school improv show and laugh out loud, and a bunch of homework. I feel like I do so much, how is it always stacking up!
Last Foundation you used: I dont use foundation, but I do use the MAC medium moisture tint pretty regularly.
Mellan is an absolutely gorgeous dog! I love every single picture of him you post.
Haul: Nothing and possible nothing all summer if I stick to my no buy. >__< But I till have my swaps.
Weekend plans: Seeing the wizard of OZ in a theater.
Last foundation you used: My old stash of Everyday Minerals Intensive… I'm still testing the new one but I not loving the lack of coverage.

I saw a guy walking his dog the other day who looked just like Mellan! (the dog looked like Mellan, not the guy xP)
How crazy! I’ve only seen one other dog that looked like him – it’s a female lab mix who lives in the same complex, but she looks SO like him!

Haul: I’m on a no-buy and purge for 11 days now (hurra \o/), but some things arrived in the mail. I’ll only see them tomorrow, unfortunately. They’re the Naked Palette, UD 24/7 Shadow Pencil in Barracuda, 2 Revlon Grow Luscious, Prestige My Biggest Lashes and the rest of the Prestige Total Intensity Eyeliners (I bought them all \o/)

Haul: UD Naked, MUFE eye pencils in 13L & 19L, Kat Von D bronzer (for contouring), I also went into Nordstroms and did pre-order four items of the Quite Cute collection coming up. Don’t know if that counts now or when my credit card gets charged for it in 2 weeks. Lol! I ordered Playing Koi, Giggly, Ice Cream Cake and Mischievous Mint. I painted my nails with MM and I’ve gotten SOOO many compliments on it.
Weekend Plans: gotta clean up my place, fishing with best guy friend, yoga class
Last foundation: the UD mineral one that is $29, I forget the name. I’m trying to use it up before I buy my MAC summer colors for my face.
I forgot to add that I got Flowerbomb and MAC Sunbasque. Whoops!

It’s gorgeous, very unique color. I’ve never seen an OPI, China Glaze, etc that comes anywhere close. I have only bought 4 MAC polishes in the past two years because their formula, and the infamous brush, aren’t the best. But I feel that they’ve improved it, along with raising the price from $13 to $14.50 in 2 years.
BTW, their Peppermint Patti polish came to mind when I was testing MM. They are not similar in color at all. PP is very green while MM is a more blue based.
Mainly bought clothes, gonna do a big make-up haul next week!!!

So broke from last week lol. I don’t normally return things so don’t think I’m crazy but… I returned my eye makeup remover from the bodyshop I guess after 2 years of use it stops working and I didn’t want to go thru a whole other bottle. I got macs cleanse off oil it works so well but it gets in my contacts and I end up spending 30 min flushing my eyes out so idk.
I also returned Nars orgasm blush that I only used twicesince I got MA from wonderwoman and felt they were similar and orgasm was just way too over the top for me. I got Sex appeal instead and am in love with that.
I’ve also convinced myself that I despise my too faced naked pallete enough to return it. Seriously I can’t get a single look out of it. All the colors just washout together. Maybe it’s just me cus it wildly popular. Maybe a review can be done 🙂 I’m either going to get Nars Laguna again since mine is down to crumbles or the UD setting spray.
I feel sorta bad returning things but I figure they make way more money than me and I’m really just exchanging.
I also got studio sculpt concelear at Mac cus I didnt have a concealer. Only one that’s meant for undereyes
Foundation: I wear LM tinted with smashbox hd in f1 using a sponge it’s working better than a brush. with a lil Nars in Fiji dusted on top. Love it. I did get a MAC sample of a foundation that I really like but I do t know what it is! All that is written is Select nc20 does anyone know what that is? Thanks!
most brands do not accept returns in my country most of the time,it is pretty annoying.however tomorrow I am returning my new root-cream color base to mac.I hit the pan on the previous one,and got a newie,but it is hard as a rock! weird,must be a manufacturing problem
I actually managed to have a little time to go shopping after my dance class this week! I got:
From House Of Fraser I got Urban Decay goodies – 24/7 Glide-on Pencil Shadows in Morphine and Delinquent, and Urbanglow Cream Highlight in Moonshine. I used my £20 in House Of Fraser vouchers towards this 🙂
From Superdrug I got MeMeMe “Blush Me!” blushes, which are packaged suspiciously like Benefit blushes, in Coral and Pink, and the newest Sleek eyeshadow palette – Paraguaya.
In Boots I got No7 nail polishes in Foxglove and Hot Pink, and their new No7 Exquisite Curl Mascara. I got £5 off with a voucher, and also got a GWP with creams, mascara, lipstick and eyeshadow in. From the Clinique counter I got the Redness Solutions Daily Protective Base and the High Impact Curling Mascara (which is incredibly difficult to remove with my eye makeup remover – think I need something stronger). I got a GWP with this, too, containing face wash, moisturisers, a Superbalm Moisturising Gloss, a mini mascara and a little eyeshadow quad.
All in all, a successful shopping trip 🙂
I am very much looking forward to this weekend, as Saturday night I am going to a show – my first evening out in well over a year! I just need to find something to wear now, and can’t find my decent shoes anywhere
Haul: Went to Sephora and bought quite a few things from Too Faced, NARS, Stila, and Sephora. Also my QVC Laura Gellar haul came in this week. Joy!
Weekend plans: Been trying to figure that out all week. One kid is grounded and the other isn’t. How to work it that way everyone doesn’t suffer cause of the grounded one. Wish me luck.
Last foundation you used: Laura Gellar’s Balance and Brighten in Fair. I am loving this powder. I think I may have found my summer foundation HG!! 😀

beauty disaster of the year: my RBL-Anne polish broke in my hand as i tried to open it(it was new!),the glass cut my hand and the polish was spilled on my new jeans.which one should I kill myself for,the high end polish,the lovely jeans or my hand? such a nightmare…but cheers anyway ladies:)

Haul: Urban Decay Shadow Pencils in both the purple shades, the blue, and one of the greens (can’t remember the names off hand!). Also some UD lashes, and a Naked palette (but that’s for my mother).
Weekend: A friend from uni and his partner are coming to visit so will be hanging out with them mostly – good times 🙂 Maybe a pub lunch on Sunday…mmm. Oh – and I have Monday off work – YAY! Should probably clean the house 🙁

Haul: Far too many lovely smelling soaps, body washes and bath bombs from Lush at Covent Garden. Also just two little things from the MAC store in Covent Garden – a replacement Studio Tech and Stars n Rockets e/s – both replacement staples.
Weekend plans: Clearing out big piles of paperwork, clothes and other junk in my room to make more space. Also re-organising my make-up stash.
Last foundation you used: Studio tech to cover up dark circles after a few drinks last night!

I hope you enjoy your trip to lovely London! The best thing with Covent Garden is to give yourself some time to relax and stroll and see what catches your eye. There are lots of chain places, but tucked between them are little independent shops and stalls. I love Lush (in the Piazza), Charles Fox (stage make up and more) and of course MAC. Are you in London for a while? There’s just SO much to see and do!
Beauty Haul: Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess goodies. I am really liking the Island Oasis palette and have worn the shadows every day since purchasing.
What I’m doing this weekend? Repotting houseplants and starting the sprouts for my summer veggie garden!

Today I bought the “Today’s Special Value” on QVC, the Bliss Poetic Waxing Kit, on three easy pays. YeeHa!
I also bought Bobbi Browns Dress for Sucess Eye Palette/Lipstick Kit at Macy’s and her cream shadow in Shore. I think that kit is a great value with some great neutrals e/s and it is for such a great cause.

Haul: I absolutely love butterflies! So when I saw that Tory Burch designed three cosmetic bags in the cutest butterfly print, I knew I had to have them. I have received two of the bags and am waiting to here that the Dopp Kit has been shipped.
Plans for the weekend: Spend time with my family and try to clean up around the house.
Last foundation I used: Nars Sheer Glow Foundation-This is my “Holy Grail” Foundation! This foundation makes me skin look natural, radiant, and flawless. I absolutely love this foundation and use it every single day. Yes, this foundation is pricey, but it definitely is worth every penny!
Haul: EcoTools Eye Brush Set (Very nice); China Glaze QT (Amazing! Now I want to track down the rest of the OMG collection); OPI Ink; MAC Careblend Powder & Wonder Woman Lipglass; Essie Main Squeeze; & Zoya Sooki & Faye.
Weekend plans: A trip to IKEA, weather permitting. If it continues to rain, I’ll stay home and watch movies instead.

Last foundation you used: Maybelline Mineral Power liquid foundation. It’s not long lasting at all, but I had a short day yesterday so I figured I’d use it.

Last foundation used: For the life of me I cannot remember. I can’t use foundation. Every single brand I’ve tried either dry me out, makes me itchy, or completely burns my face.
Haul: Clarisonic brush heads, UD Shadow Pencil in Mercury, NYX Jumbo Pencil in Horse Raddish (my first NYX purchase), EcoTools bamboo brush set, Boscia Willow bark breakout treatment, hair dye and ponytail holders. BTW Ulta is having an UD event. I got 3 free gifts, generously sized Stardust shadow in Retrograde, Lip Junkie gloss in Wallflower and Midnight Cowboy.
Weekend Plans: working all weekend
Last foundation: Hourglass, maybe 2 years ago. I almost considered purchasing it until I found out the price. Yikes!

Haul: This week I’ve been on a perfume kick! I got JM Sweet Lemon and Sweet Milk off a blogsale, as well as a large sample of Hermes Osmanthe Yunnan and samples of three Diptyques (Jardin Clos, Philosykos & Tam Dao). I also bought Perfumes: The A-Z Guide (came today!) and a new bookshelf for storage and a bunch of organizing stuff to go with it. Also now waiting on a small bottle of Osmanthe Yunnan since I loved it. 😀
Weekend plans: My BFF from high school is coming to visit so I’m super excited! We’re going to a Jo Malone event at Nordstrom on Saturday, and probably out to eat at some of my favorite restaurants. Also really hoping for good weather so I can take her to the Japanese Tea Garden. =)

Have you thought about getting a companion for Mellan someday? I adopted my cats when they were kittens, because I wanted them to grow up together. There’s an adorable photo of them hugging each other on my blog. 🙂

Weekend plans: shopping and my nephew’s 7th birthday party.

Haul: I was actually visiting NYC this week, but only bought 2 Naked pallettes (1 for a friend) and then hoola bronzer from benefit, clinique high impact curling mascara and clarins lip perfector. Totally forgot to shop at drugstore since I thought they would have one at the airport.. perhaps better this way in the end :):)
Plans: get rid of the jet lag and spend time with bf and family

It’s so brightly lit and neat and orderly looking and fashionable, beautiful people are always in there- I really thought I didn’t belong, but on a sleepy Wednesday afternoon I went in!) and bought Studio Fix Powder Foundation (N5). Today I was still on a makeup high from my MAC purchase (though I am still a bit too intimidated to, uh, open the box) and I picked out a pretty lip gloss, GOSH cosmetics, shade 0058. Pretty deep pink. Going to use it as my “stage makeup” for a samba show on the weekend.
Now I’ll be on the hunt for a slick little Kabuki brush for my powder foundation. Years ago, I used to use the powder foundation from the Body Shop and the sponge they include with these just isn’t right. Can’t wait to start using my new foundation 🙂
Weekend plans: The community samba percussion band I’m in is playing at Bust-a-Move, which is a pretty cool cancer fund raiser. Paula Abdul is the celebrity guest and it is my mission to get a drum in that lady’s hand!
PS: Last foundation used is Cover Girl Clean. It’s just “meh” hence the MAC purchase 🙂

Last foundation you used: Laura Mercier Oil-Free tinted moisturizer + LM powder foundation
Haul: Exchanged a Korres Cherry Lip Kisses Trio set (bought more than a year ago, never opened and still had receipt!) for Korres Mango Butter Lipstick in 45 Coral. It was their last one! It was sold separately, I remember at the time of your review, Christine, that they weren’t selling it on its own. Surprisingly good coverage for a sheer lipstick.
Also picked up another Sephora liquid eyeliner in navy black, which is a navy with shimmer.
Weekend plans: Work, Chinese dumplings with friends, work, and indoor soccer!
Last foundation I used: Clinique Perfectly Real. I like the finish of it and the coverage, but it kinda goes white in photos. I don’t usually use it, though!
Hmm I got my Zoya intimates in the mail. 8 Lorac e/s from HauteLook, some MAC pigment samples, Too Faced Riviera bronzers and Illamasqua Rampage but even more importantlyI gave my friend a
bunch of m/u I knew I would never use and felt so much better

Weekend plans: Well it’s past the weekend now, but it was my birthday, so I spent time with friends!
Last foundation you used: Some Cover Girl stuff that I really need to upgrade from. Not the best.
Oh, and I got the UD Book of Shadows III from someone on mac_cosmetics. Just waiting for it to arrive!!
