I’m about to spend today and my weekend studying up for my midterms. SO FUN! Can’t wait! I hope everyone else is spending their weekend doing much more exciting things!

I bought the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland pallette today and I LOVE it!!! So gorgeous!!! That’s all for now.
Man, I want a pup so much! I have the best kitty ever, and she’s all I need, really, but I would so love a dog. It’s not really financially feasible right now, and btwn me and my boyfriend we have three cats. Apartment living, busy schedules…and he doesn’t like dogs 🙁 But Mellan does make my heart ache for a doggie – you are so lucky!
I didn’t actually buy any makeup this week again. Cash is tight and I’m preparing for buying lots of lippies when Spring Colour Forecast is in stores next week. I’m going to go on a depotting binge this weekend, but it still will probably only be enough for one item, so I might try to find containers into which I can dump my brush cleaner, eye cream, moisturizer…LOL! I did buy a couple handy bright cardigans from Old Navy and this new bag, which I adore. I never get excited about bags, but this one is just so FUN – roomy and I love the bright color.

I ordered a Kat Von D palette in Memento Mori and a set of makeup brushes with a Sephora gift card I got for Christmas. Although the shadows are beautiful, the packaging itself is gorgeous–white with teal designs. I’m extremely excited to add this one to my collection.
Also will be attending MAC party tommorow. Although I have some ideas of what I want to get, it may turn into a different story once I see everything:D
OK so I purchased Tinted Lipglass in Lavender Wind, Colour 3 eyeshadow palette, blush ombre in azalea blossom, and nanogold eyeshadow. I AM SO EXCITED to get the items!
Also, my older sister in montreal told me that the VIVA GLAM Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper lipsticks will be in store on February 10th! Her SA told her that they are releasing them early because the information about them was leaked. hehe And also, the colors are going to only be around for the year and then discontinued. That’s the scoop from MAC in montreal!

I got a couple of NYX lipsticks, which I really like so far. They’re under $5 so that’s pretty awesome. a NARS Sheer Glow foundation.. new Maybelline mascara, and a Tarte cheek stain in True Love (which I do love!
Well I was going to get the Alice in Wonderland palette but the glitter & my contacts don’t miss well so I skipped it. Some of the less glittery ones I might get individually.

Ok so because of your swatches earlier this week, I got the following from MAC: Electric Fuchsia, Cha Cha and Kumquat lipglass. Also Bubblegum, Pink Burst and Violetta lipsticks. 🙂
I finally received some Lillyland items this week: Lush & Bright Lipgelee and Joie-de-Vivre Cremeblend Blush. I also got 2 nail lacquers, China Glaze IDK and Nubar Brilliant. And today my new mascara, Fasio Hyper-Stay Mascara Magne-Plus Curl Volume (!), arrived from Japan. I also ordered 3 l/s and 3 l/g from Spring Colour Forecast!
so far, not looking forward to this snow storm thats suppose to come our way here to Jersey 🙁
it might just cancel some plans i had for the weekend, but maybe it’ll help me stay in and finish some homework.
My last purchase icluded a Water Base Mixing Medium, Era eyeshadow, Magenta Lip Liner and Blacktrack Fluidline from MAC. I also got Dior Addict Lipcolor in Zen Pink and Pink Negligee and Kenzoki Nightwatcher. I love Kenzoki products, they are amazing.
I didn’t buy anything at all this week except 70% rubbing alcohol to sanitize and clean some stuff up.
We’re supposed to get about a foot of snow tonight… I’m going to the Red Box for some movies and eat some good food with the BF. A very low key weekend is ahead.
I ordered a big ol’ LUSH haul. So excitedddd!

Plans for the weekend will probably include being snowed in with some friends…and my adorable pupp, Ceasar, who is sleeping next to me as I type this.
Ooh, I misbehaved at the mall today! I picked up Nars blush in Deep Throat; the Stila jewel e/s palette; Sephora by OPI nail polish in Leaf Him at the Altar; Juicy Couture rollerball fragrance in Couture Couture; MAC e/s in Beautiful Iris and Stars ‘n Rockets; and MAC lipglass in Light that Fire (also, they had a lipglass left from the Naked Honey collection, Queen Bee. I mentioned to the MUA how much I loved it, and lo and behold she pulled one out of the drawer!) Phew! Serious haul.
I had a gift card for the Bay here in Montreal, so I used that to tide myself over while I’m waiting for the Spring Colour forecast to start hitting stores. (I really feel like I have to see everything in person.) Total haul:

I did my first online purchase at mac (online shopping just started since about 1 months ago in germany)! I bought florida cremeblush and preppy lipgelee. am pretty excited for it to arrive! the stupid thing is, that the lillyland collection is online available only. at counters there ist all sexes all races. I would like to get more of lillyland but without trying I will take no risk.
then I also got rich color gloss from bobbi brown in tutu and pink buff, for the job mostly (quick touch up during the day).
So for me quite a lot during one week…and: in Germany we did not get the nailpolish in the lillyland collection. that’s a shame!
Tomorrow is my grandmothers birthday so we will go for lunch together. Sunday I will have dinner with some friends at a restaurant. So I will eat a lot…would be good to do some workout then 🙂
am also thinking about my make up for sunday…hopefully the new florida blush!

I’ve ordered a few things from Mac in Lillyland this week, and I have literally just received them 2 minutes ago! I was really looking forward to receiving my new pretty powders (eyeshadow and face powder) and lipgelees. I also ordered Da Bling e/s and Fresco Rose paintpot.
Annoyingly I didn’t order any of the cremeblend blushes online, because I thought I’d check them out in person when I went shopping yesterday, and guess what, Mac in Lillyland is ONLINE EXCLUSIVE in the UK and half the cremeblend blushes are sold out already 3 days after the collection launched! 🙁 Really annoyed, won’t be getting any of them now. Oh well, maybe I never actually needed them anyway, lol. But to think I nearly didn’t order Preppy lipgelee (thought I’d check it out in person), but thank God I did because it’s gorgeous!!! 🙂 Did buy Universal Mix pigment at the counter yesterday and it’s really pretty, but didn’t get anything else from All ages, all races, just too boring for me.
Anyway, got really excited about your Spring Colour Forecast review (hence buying Da Bling already) and just heard that the UD Alice in Wonderland palette is going to be available online at Debenhams in the UK from 22nd February, so a few days earlier than expected! Yay! 🙂

This week I received MAC Parrot e/s in a trade 🙂 I went to buy some UDPP but they were sold out so I got a pencil sharpener, Strip eyeshadow and Yeyo liner pencil. I also went to MAC to buy Fluidline in Macroviolet…but they were out of that too *sigh*. I just bought some Studio Fix Fluid to use on occasions where I want more coverage.
I also placed an online order with MAC: Soft and Gentle MSF, Breath of Plum blush, Subculture lip liner, Myself, Syrup and High Tea l/s, and Naked Frost, Glamour For All and Liqueur l/g
This weekend we’re going to see a travel agent about planning our honeymoon to New York – yay! So excited that I’ll get to visit all the exciting shops and see all the brands we don’t get over here in the UK…My hubby will just have to find something to amuse himself with, lol!
If you like Japanese food, you should def go to Ninja in the Tribecca section of NYC! It’s so much fun and romantic too. Each table has it’s own little house, so it can be the perfect place if you want to stare deeply into each others eyes! LoL
Ooh, lets see… Dior Glowing Colour Vintage Pink blush, Bobbi Brown Lip Quad in Rose (I got two, one for me and one for my mum), Philosophy Kiss Me lip balm, Clinique SSFM moisturizer for my man, Jordana blushers in Rouge for me and Blushing Rose, Rose Silk, Coral Sandy Beach and Tawny Beige for my aunt (it’s a surprise mail present ‘cos I miss her) and I just ordered a BB Pink Shimmer Brick and the Dior Purple Crystal quint from the Boreale collection.
And now I also have to pay an extortionate amount to the plumber who came to fix our hot water leak 🙁

Am waiting for a few thigns in the mail, my REN Frankensence and Boswella Serrata night cream(got the sample and its a holy grail product for my slightly oily skin, sensitive skin!) Also got some fun stuff from Fyrinnae to try-several eyeshadow samples, their pixie epoxy, and a mixing medium for pressing pigments.
Now I just need the metal pans for pressing the pigments INTO!
I only got a few things from the upcoming collection… An eyeshadow and… Crap, I don’t rememeber – LOL! It should be here today though! Woo hoo! I also ordered some other stuff I needed (a pigment or two, some lipmixes and back-up of the “Shift to Pink” lipgelee that came out with lillyland).
Most of my “cash to spend” went towards a pair of Dr. Martins that I got last week, a new belt and some shirts (it has been YEARS since I bought a new pair of shoes and was in desperate need of something comfortable).
I ALSO learned two new things this week!
1) That it’s pronounced “lip juh-LAY” not “lip gelly.” (Yes, I rolled my eyes when I typed that) Which of course, forces me to call it, “Mouth Jam” just to spite MAC 😛 (I also like “Oriface Butter” but it sounds a little less PG) LOL.
2) After calling several Pro stores and having everyone tell me they wouldn’t ship me anything with my discount I called MAC corporate and found out that their official policy is to NOT ship product to Pro members (you MUST be present with your card and ID). I told them they suck.
Actually I told them that, while I understand that I am one voice, I think they should change their policy. I would be VERY happy to fax a Pro store my ID, Pro card and Credit Card to have them keep information on file. I explained that the Pro site is often missing products (some Pro products are in stores that aren’t on the site), the collections sometimes show up late and that some of the email addresses on the site are actually BAD! They’re straight-up incorrect.
Take that and blend it with the fact that the operators at MAC Pro are just operators. They aren’t make-up artists, they don’t know what any of these products do or even look like. They’re just working in a call center.
I prefer to call a store because they USE the product (and have access to it if I want a description). I can tell them what I like and they can find something for me – AND offer creative solutions! Sure I guess I could call a store, talk to someone and then order on-line but I don’t think that’s fair to the person working. They’ve done all the work and then I don’t buy from their store. That’s lame!
Ooooh! I guess I had a rant in me! 😛 Hmm… Didn’t see that coming. Anyway, nothing going on this weekend – Looking forward to my box of “whateverthehellIordered.”
Oh and Cristine – I LOVE MAC Wipes too! I just wish they came in a less-strong scented version. That smell lingers on the skin and gives me a headache! Great product though 🙂 LOL!

today i got the stila eye jewels palette and kat von d memento mori palette, all 4 of the ombre blushes from MAC, the crush metal pigment stacked1! and victorian lipstick. earlier in the week i got two faced candlelight powder, nars hungry hearts duo and hourglass lipgloss in siren.
i also got a marc by marc jacobs and haden harnet bags.
i am a shopaholic. i have a serious problem.

I just ordered Fleshpot lipstick, Glamour Check! eyeshadow and Personal Taste lipglass from MAC. The only thing I’ve gotten so far from the Spring Colour Forecast collection is the Ripe Peach Ombre Blush, but I plan to get a few more things. I saw the collection at my local MAC counter, and it’s so pretty. They let me put some things aside, since they’re not available until Thursday.
I bought Folie, Naked Lunch and Star Violet Mac pan eyeshadow! I’m building up my palette! I also just ordered some badass black boots with some studded straps on them! 🙂
I ordered some things from the color forecast collection online on Tuesday but it hasn’t even shipped yet! I don’t get it :/ I did get a Opi by Sephora nail polish, and placed an order online for Sephora for the Benefit bronzer collection thing, and the new UD Eden Primer!
Got a bag of MAC wipes.. thats it! 😀 I am quite proud, made my mental list for the spring launch… so that might ruin that … oh well I suppose.

I bought MAC Pro Pans in Silver Ring and Lucky Green, I had Silver Ring before but it broke when I depotted it:(. Lucky Green is so pretty..good call Christine! I also purchased Liqueur lipglass..its really pretty too glad I got it.
I got finally got the Love Lace eyeshadow and two of the new lipglasses from mac, and two eyeshadows from a sale CVS was having on L’Oreal HIP.

Random: I got a new puppy for my daughter yesterday 🙂 It was a surprise. She had been asking for a dog for as long as I can remember and I had been wanting one for a while now too. He’s a 7 week old Toy Yorkie. She named him “Buster” after the dog on her favorite show, “My Friends Tigger and Pooh.” Taking him to the vet tomorrow to get all his shots and to get him groomed 🙂

I went to CCO and bought MAC Silverthorn from Romance collection and I’m loving it. I also bought Mac Nylon shadow which I also like. Mellan is absolutely adorable.
I got a lot of mac. A 239 brush and a 129. I ordered some slimshines online. I also ordered a bunch of stuff from the Spring Colour Forecast (a lot of eyeshadow) ! I can’t wait to get it in the mail!
Awww, Mellan is such a cutie! I went a little overboard with UD. Liquid eyeliner: Shattered, Acid Rain, Minx, and Radium. Also got some shadows: Minx,Acid Rain, Ecstasy, and Jones. 24/7 liner: Lust. Dior Extase Pinks quint. OPI: Mad As A Hatter, Pink Me I’m Good, and 3 (hey, it’s limited edition) Absolutely Alice.

I only got three new things this week, all from MAC: pigment in universal mix, the feline kohl power eye pencil, and cremeblend blush in so sweet, so easy. Not much, but I love all of them!

I went to the outlets today and bought a bunch of brushes – an old Lancome holiday set (not QUITE as soft/luxurious as the single/perm brushes, but still very nice), a MAC 249, and a Bobbi Brown ultra-fine liner brush. I’m quite pleased. 🙂
Last thing I bought was Fresh Brow at a CCO. Oh an some NYX pallettes! Sexy colors!!!

Hmm lets see… I got two Korres lip butters, plum and jasmine… ive been keeping jasmine with me at ALL times because its sucha perfect light pink/nude to go with my newest obsession which is a thickish rich black liner look with false eyelashes to give that doe eyed look…. and minimal makeup elsewhere. Love it!
I also got Urban decay lipstick in Confession for when i crave a little more edgy, purple stained lip. Very rawr 😉
An argan oil bottle which I use as moisturizer at night… seriously the best stuff- all natural, I put it on my face, lips, cuticles, in my hair… the list goes on.
Speaking of hair, yesterday I chopped all of mine off! It was past my shoulders and now its an edgy pixie with longer swoopy pieces in front. LOVE! My hairstylist is a genius, I’m in love. 🙂

I had the best shopping this week..picked up the Dior Poudrier Dentelle and its just the most beautiful thing I’ve tried recently. Reminds me of a powder version of the Fresh Twilight Freshface Glow.
Ordered my Fleshpot lippie from MAC, I can’t wait to get it!!
Went to the CCO yesterday, picked up a Perfect Topping MSF and Gold Stroke pigment.
Finally, ordered an eyeshadow from Miss X Aesthetic Laboratories in Car Crash Red and picked up one of her handmade bracelets. I’ve been dying to try her stuff, and I think I’ve finally found the red I’ve been looking for!

No beauty hauls for me lately. I’m a university student and the bills come first :(. However, I did get a pair of 5 inch patent pumps I’m the mail today, and my boyfriend bought me a Michael Kors handbag that should be in on Monday. I’m so excited!
So sorry to hear about the dog, Christine. It’s so hard to lose a beloved pet. I have a cat and he’s my baaby.
