So happy you’re posting these. That purple from Cool looks a lot deeper in pan and the glittery one from Rose looks like a mess. They all seem to watch reasonably well. That pink shade in Rose looks saturated, I don’t have anything in that shade range that’s super pigmented, so this is promising.
Is the snap feature useful? Seems more annoying that anything, since you just up with two mirrors. If you could snap them side by side, it would be useful.
It looks like there are two close shades in the first two palettes: True Neutrals: Velvet Cuffs and Tequila Nite; Cool Neutrals: U There and Uppaclass. I hope I’m wrong because I don’t like too-close or overlapping type shades in any palette, most especially a smaller one.
I definitely have my heart set on true neutrals and cool neutrals now – this is perfect for me (more cool neutral shadows from brands please!)
I never understand why palettes described as “true neutral” always run warm. This isn’t a slight against Fenty because everyone does it. I just don’t get it.
I was most interested in the purple palette from the photos but now I’m not so sure. Glad that I have time to decide.
I know you can google color theory and what constitutes a warm or cool shade. I think we can all agree that a move towards yellow will make the shade warmer, whereas a move towards blue will render a shade cooler. I usually feel the same about ‘true neutrals’ being warm. Not sure, but some of this may come from one’s personal perspective, where your coloring fits on a continuum. If you have ‘cool’ coloring, things look Warmer COMPARATIVELY. Somehow, I think we start with ourselves as a reference point. Colors are not arbitrary, nor are perceptions of them. Not very well articulated, but…
Kate, how ‘bout that new ND glam mini? Typical of how warm things turn out, when you’re expecting cool. Even S’s print says ‘sparkly cool’. Right.
Dunno, I bought it and swatched on my arm. It’s quite cool, when I compared with searching her mini nude shades side by side. The only shade that’s warmer is the highlight shade. But I wouldn’t say the palette turned out warm, at least it doesn’t swatch that way. I’m neutral with a slightly cool undertone, if that helps.
Cool Neutrals looks pretty nice! That would probably be one I wouldn’t mind having.
I am really interested in Cool Neutrals. These seem like fun little palettes!
I’m definitely interested in the Cool Neutrals.
I do think that True Neutrals seems warm and Cool Neutrals is quite pink themed, but they all look pretty good to me.
