Lightest, Neutral undertones. Combination skin.

They seem nice, but the color selection from Fenty seems a little muted compared to the cream cheek blush range, which had exciting deviations from the norm. I wish they had done a little of what Clinique did and match some shades to go with the blushes. I really like that these are refillable though.

Motha Luva, Scholar Sista, and Ballin’ Babe appeal to me particularly. I really like this semi-matte finish!

90’s are returning! Many different new collections released lately are plenty of lipsticks with noticeable brown undertone.

I really love Scholar Sista and Major Magnate! Flaunty Auntie could work for me if I use my Nyx Earthtone Slim Lip Pencil. Having seen several videos on YouTube for this, I’m not 100% sure that I love the bizarre component that the lipstick is housed in, and then too, one need only but it as a single unit and switch out the actual lipstick shades. Sounds like a gigantic pain in the rump roast!

Lightest, Pink undertones. Dry skin.

Wow – these look lovely shades, I can see myself in a few of these: Major Magnate, She’s a CEO, Grill Mast’r and even Ballin’ Babe. Gorgeous.

Very Light, Pink, moderately pink undertones. Combination skin.

I am not buying a lipstick and a lipstick holder separately, that’s not refillable, that’s creating more waste and way too expensive.

Light Medium, Neutral, slight yellow undertones. Normal-to-Dry skin.

The holder works with all of the shades, so their format is to sell the two pieces separately rather than having you buy them together initially, then buying a refill, but it is the same system as other refillable lipsticks – just a clarification!

Yesterday I wanted to buy one of these (grill mast’r) which swatched indeed nicely. The SA told me however I also had to buy a case separately. Considering the prices of the mattemoiselle lipsticks it’s a huge rip off.

I’m curious about the reviews. I didn’t love Fenty’s opening lipstick release – it felt very “stock formula in custom packaging” and I never ended up purchasing one despite the wide range of colors. I’m hoping this is an improvement/their own formula now that they’ve made enough money to RnD higher quality offerings.

Surprisingly, only Ballin’ Babe would likely look well on me or at least, interests me.
