Estee Lauder Shimmering Bronze Nail Lacquer
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess: Shimmering Bronze
Estee Lauder Shimmering Bronze Nail Lacquer ($19.00 for 0.30 fl. oz.) is a shimmering, red-enriched bronze with subtle metallic threads running through an otherwise copper and bronze shimmered finish. I used two coats for complete opacity, and it applied easily. The polish flowed without being too thick or thin, and each coat was nicely pigmented. I have no problem achieving a full week’s worth of wear out of Estee Lauder’s formula (with a proper base/top coat, of course). For swatches, I used Zoya’s Anchor and Armor for my base and top coats.
A major downside to the product is the quantity: a mere 0.30 fl. oz., while most lacquers weigh in at 0.50 fl. oz. It seems customary for some of the higher-end brands to average just below that at 0.40 fl. oz., but it still makes this bottle seem small (even though you’d never think it, based on packaging’s appearance).

OH MY GOSH, that is BEAUTIFUL. a MUST HAVE for sure. thank you.
The color is really really pretty, but very dupable in my opinion. At least in my stash. I feel like nail polishes aren’t like other cosmetics… most of the times the super cheap brands are just as good, if not better, than higher end brands (and have more color choices and finishes). While with other cosmetics its more rare to find extremely high quality drugstore-priced things.
Does anyone else know of any other dupes besides Zoya Cheryl?
Yes but unfortunately I do not know the exact shade. It is from Borghese and I found it at my local Ulta. Unfortunately I did not spend a lot of time looking at it as I was in a rush so I can’t tell you if it is an exact dupe or tended to lean more in different color but just looking at the bottle it liked an exact dupe (I’m going back to get it!).
Ok thanks Christina!
Oh it’s a lovely shade.
This is a lovely color. Not good on the price though. Thanks for the swatches, Christine!
I don’t want this to sound bitchy, but have you ever come across a polish that didn’t wear well on you? I’ve never had a week’s wear with any nail polish, most of mine seem to chip after 2 days!
I can’t think of any, honestly — not since I started using a base/top coat. I credit it to Zoya’s Anchor/Armor system, though.
Ive been dying to see the Orange Crush lipgloss swatch from Estee Lauder? Do you have it?
No, sorry!
I love this color , but the bottle looks little , for 19$ it doesn’t look like I would get much bang for my buck
I would buy this beautiful glaze just to let it gracing my comber!
there is something about the natural lighting in your studio that makes the colors look washed out and polishes not pigmented. could you consider changing something? thanks.
These photos look exactly like how it does in real life – I spend hours ensuring color accuracy of photos.
How does this compare in shade to Milani Bijou Bronze?
I don’t have that, sorry!
