These look seriously lovely. I haven’t bought anything from Estee Lauder in years but I just may purchase these beauties.
That’s it? Mad Men collection deserves more than this. It’s like MAC’s Ms. Piggy collection…..the compact should have the design of the box…otherwise, it is just like any Estee Lauder collection.
They have an entire recurring thing at Banana Republic, lol
So totally getting the blush!
At least it’s only a couple of items that I’ll have to spend money on… Haha! I LOVE Mad Men. Have to have these.
Love the blush? but would it suit Indian skin tone.
Love your blog! Hello from India 🙂
I love the vintage packaging!
Although the packaging doesn’t scream Mad Men at all the colours do for the era! I wonder if the second lunch will have more items.
My oh my, I need these in my life!
I can’t wait to see these swatched. Christine, will you be reviewing these?
Wow, I’ve never purchased a creme blush before because I have really oily skin, but this one….hmm maybe!
I wish they had just a few more color options because I’d love to buy but I don’t see these working for me
Hi Christine,
they look so cute, especially the blush, do you know if they will be sold also in Europe?
Love from Italy
Not sure, sorry!
Ugh! Could you just die?! LOL! I nearly wet my pants with excitement! This one is like the Tarte for True Blood collection for me: I MUST buy two of each (one to swatch and actually use and one to safely lock away)! Haha 🙂
Oh, god, the chintzy packaging… At least they got the time period aesthetic right.
Really pretty. I saw they would be exclusive to Bloomingdales and esteelauder.com. I also saw a print ad with the model wearing a dress in the same print as the paper cartons.
ohh noo :((( why not internationally?? 🙁
OMG please tell me you’re gonna review these! I NEED to have at least one of the two 🙂
My favorite show + vintage-style makeup = perfect! The lipstick is a gorgeous cherry color which I love, the blush is a perfect shade and the packaging is to die for. So file this under: want!
Hot Damn! That topaz-looking closer on the blush is making my head spin. Here’s hoping the colours are bang on for the era.
These look absolutely beautiful. The lipstick looks like it might have that velvety finish that makes bold colors more wearable (for me, at least). Definitely have to check this one out!
Ooohh! Make up lust! And from Lauder? Good make up, but mostly over priced and nothing special… Although this is how packaging is done! Are the cases metal? Refillable? When I worked at Lauder they still did either the plastic case, which was changeable into the chi chi metal case. Beautiful! I want them!
I would not be surprised if these were accurate period colors from the vault either. Lauder and Revson ruled the make up world then. Arden was there too but they were the high end.
So excited for these! Already purchased them for Bloomies! So happy and so don’t care is my friends and family think I am crazy!
AT LAST! a proper MadMen collaboration….so far everything with Janie Bryant has been crap and just loosely (very loosely) inspired by the show (eg Banana Republic and maidenform). So excited for this and the colours look just lovely!
These look lovely! Christine, I hope you’ll review both. Can’t wait to see how they look on you. I just may have to treat myself.
Too funny! Everybody who saw this called Estée Lauder yesterday! They had no clue; Management had to send around pictures and explain.
i thought they would have more than just two products. nonetheless, they are both just absolutely beautiful.
These are gorgeous! I do hope they come to the UK
Wow, as I was just saying that no one is doing reds for the summer, well, EL is doing just that and red is my favorite, when I see red… I do hope they come to Europe, usually the limited editions come to Europe eventually as well, just sometimes a bit late. I actually think that the make up EL has been doing lately is really great, especially for the price, I use their skincare almost exclusively. For the price their products are a great value in my humble opinion, I too hope that you will review them Christine!
I bought the blush and lipstick at Bloomingdales yesterday. And while I’m happy with the packaging (box and all) and the blush, I’m disappointed with the size of the lipstick. It is seriously small- so small that it literally is sample size small. And for $25, I expected the lipstick to be of regular size. However, the colors on both the lipstick and blush is gorgeous. It is still worth checking out!
OMG! I want that rouge… (sucker for pretty packaging)
Absolutely LOVE that blush, but not loving the price. That’s insane! $40 for a blush? I don’t mind spending money on cosmetics at all, as my ridiculous collection would attest if it could speak. However…..no blush is worth a whopping $40. Have they lost their minds?
