Estee Lauder Heavy Petals Nail Lacquer Collection for Spring 2013

Estee Lauder Heavy Petals Nail Lacquer Collection for Spring 2013

This Spring, nails are immersed in a world of ethereal, dream-like hues that capture the spirit and romance of Paris in full bloom – introducing New Pure Color Nail Lacquer Heavy Petals Collection. This limited-edition nail collection by Estée Lauder and Creative Makeup Director, Tom Pecheux is a profusion of pastels inspired by the playful mood and kaleidoscope of color that emerges from the city of Paris as it blossoms to life in Spring.

“In Nail there is a lot of fantasy and color and nothing is more rich in color and sensation than Paris in Spring,” stated Tom Pecheux. “For this collection, I thought of amazing bouquets from the flower markets, the pretty pastels of children’s carousels and the pops of color from macaroons.”

Bursting with energy and vibrancy, Heavy Petals is a fanciful palette of fresh shades that expresses the beauty of the Spring season. This whimsical collection makes a modern statement for nails that conveys both femininity and style.

They’re pretty but I am tired of pastels. Usually, pastels don’t apply well. I love Estee Lauder polish.I bought noveau riche from their metal mania line for Christmas and am in love. It is based on nighttime Paris. For the new line, I think I’ll pass.

julie g has amazing pastels … i’ve had similar experiences to you with most pastels (streaky, too sheer etc) but hers are amazingly opaque, even with only one coat. “fairytale” is one of my absolute favorites, even more so because it’s a one-coater.

someone mentioned l’oreal already, but i would like to add that they totally mimic zoya’s spring 2013 line as well! i guess nails this spring are going to be boring / traditional this year?
