We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I think a little eyeliner/shadow is fun, a hydrating lip too, but you’d have to pay me to wear any sort of coverage product. My head roams everywhere trying to find a place to rest and I will not be held responsible for any transfer 😂
I NEVER leave the house (okay, in an emergency, I do) without some makeup on! I almost never wear foundation but always wear concealer, some powder blush, a bit of smudgey liner and some lipstick or tinted balm and this applies to travel (air, train, boat, car…)
O.K….so maybe it’s vanity but I just feel so homely without makeup! Even if it’s very light, I just feel so much better about myself if I put on even a little. Make up improves my attitude for some reason…When travelling I might not wear complete heavy duty eye makeup etc, but I usually never leave my house with no make up at all if only lipstick and blush…..
Flying? What magical thing is that? LOL
Since I haven’t flown anywhere in nearly 19 years, and travelling by that mode has certainly changed much from then, I would likely keep it a little more simple now. Well, if or when I get another opportunity to do so! I’d still wear a set CC or BB cream, fill in my brows, wear some bronzing blush with a little in the crease of my eyes, a highlighter blush like MJ Jet Girl, mascara,
and a lip oil or balm gloss.
By car? A full face since it likely isn’t going to be much of a long ride!
Seven skin w/barrier cream. M/U? Concealer only. You don’t want to be thrown off the plane and transported to the morgue, after all.
Usually, yes. I have major allergies and part of the reason I wear makeup is that it protects my facial skin. Otherwise, I end up with rashes and hives. I’m chilling at home right now and I still have my foundation on, for that reason.
It depends what I do on arrival and how long is the trip. On planes I mostly wear makeup because it’s either a short trip (and I have activities before or after arrival) either I am traveling internationally and I prefer to wear minimal makeup, similar to my passport photo (at least when I have to pass security, I might take it of/on on a +10 hour flight).
Traveling by car is most times road trips. If it involves being outdoors (like going to national parks) no makeup. If it’s for a city break or visiting folks I would wear makeup.
Yep, always a full face of makeup, no matter where I go and what I do – except for swimming!
Of course!
Absolutely! You never know when the paparazzi are waiting. 😉 I wear very minimal makeup–just my five minute face.
Absolutely, not for a ‘look’ but because applying makeup even minimally for me is part of good grooming and self care. If I don’t have 5 to 10 minute to put on liner, blush, lipstick there’s something wrong. Yes, it’s part of good hygiene for me.
Yes, but a minimal amount. I’ll do tinted sunscreen, a one-and-done shadow, matching liner on the upper lid only, mascara, and a more sheer or MLBB lip color (for driving only, I have been wearing masks while flying for over a decade bc I have an autoimmune disorder, so no lipstick).
I always wear makeup when traveling so I’m ready for anything when we arrive at our destination.
Does doing your makeup in the car on the ride to work count? Haha! Seriously though, I am a serial running late for worker & I refuse to leave the house sans spf. So at traffic lights, I dap on some powder to combat shine, slap on some blush or bronzer to not look dead, then finish my lip & mascara in the work bathroom. Flying-spf, light powder for shine, 1 coat mascara & mad moisturizing lip product.
If it’s a short flight and I want to look cute when I arrive then yes I’d wear minimal makeup or apply on the bathroom before we land. Otherwise no. I’m taking a 12 hr flight next month and only focusing on keeping my skin moisturized.
Nooooo, just lip balm! I love to travel but both flying and driving a long way stress me out so much that I literally think of nothing else but getting from Point A to Point B.
It depends on how early I have to get up. I won’t get up at the crack of dawn to do makeup. Usually I wear it if driving somewhere. Flying, I’ll wear light makeup if I have time.
Sometimes I’ll finish applying makeup in the car on the way to an event, but generally, I don’t put anything on specifically to travel…
