Yes, I love making scrubs and masks or just putting fresh fruit on my face hehe. I make a coffee-honey mask that doubles as a scrub with creamed honey and instant coffee crystals (grind them with a mortar and pestle first). I also make a mask using plain yoghurt and honey. I’ve always been fascinated by making me own beauty products.

I love making scrubs! Buying them is great too but sometimes I just want to know whats going into my products. Honey, green tea and sugar scrubs are great and make great cheap gifts. Asprin masks/scrub is great to help with my acne =) I want to branch onto other things, its really fun I think and totally worth it.

Yes’siree! I wish I knew more about making skin care products but I don’t… And don’t really want to take the time to learn. LOL! But I make my own lip plumpers – Made a BUNCH of them fof Christmas gifts this year – Some were tinted and some weren’t.

I also made glitter sticks for the bf’s nieces. They’re into EVERYTHING “girly” so I did peach scented body lotion bars LOADED with glitter and shimmer! 🙂 It took days to get the peach smell out of my kitchen and I wanted to puke from it when I was done! Haha!

my stister makes few scubbers and clensers every now and then. I use a clenser made of pineapples, and I must say it is one of the best things I’ve put on my face.

Oh yes!!! I love to do it! So I know whats really inside, noch chemicals and have much of fun! Especially I make hairshampoo for my friend (he’s the owner of a hairdressers salon and his customers love it, when he use it because they smell and feel the different to “normal” products.

Yes- I use a sugar/honey face scrub once a week. It makes skin so smooth and glowy =) Try it- takes no time at all to make and results are really worth it!

Not anymore. I used to use this face mask that had tumeric, honey and salt in it. I stopped using it when I realised that it left my face a bit yellow!!

Sort of, I have tried the asprin mask and I no longer use shampoo. I use once a week baking soda and the rest of the time I just use conditioner, it works (it is like the wen system but cheaper)!!!

I make face scrubs, lip exfoliants, etc… from time to time with natural ingredients like apricot oil and raw sugar.
I made a lip plumper once with clove oil and cinnamon oil- I had to stop using it after a while, because I made it too strong and it was irritating my lips. But it worked better that any lip plumper I’ve tried.

I use DIY hair products. I have thick, coarse, kinky hair and I LOVE thick moisturizers and conditioners. My fav DIY moisturizer is unrefined shea butter mixed with Vatika oil. My hair stays moisturized for DAYS

I was having a hard time with my skin for a while, so I made a natural toner. I bought pure lavender and tea tree oil. I mixed both of them with water and used it for months 🙂

I make my own body and lip scrubs all the time! They’re cheaper and I absolutely know I won’t be allergic to them. And I make my own moisturizer (very simple, just jojoba oil + olive squalane and a bit of lavender essential oil) since I couldn’t find one that worked for me.

Yes, I make a shea butter mixture for my skin and hair. I use refined shea butter, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, vitamin E oil, and an oil for fragrance. When it warms up I add coconut oil to the mixture (Coconut oil solidifies in the colder months.)

My hair and skin loves it.
