We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Oooh yes, especially when it comes to nail polish. I recently topped $$$ Mac polish with Chanel Vendetta, the result is such a unique, dark metallic shade.

It depends haha. I do love layering cheek products (up to two blushes and a highlighter or bronzer) and nail polishes (7 layers is average for me teehee since I like to do nail art, glitter and rhinestones), but I actually don’t like layering lip products. I always wear balm under my lipstick, but I like my lipstick to do it all rather than having to wear multiple lip color products.

I don’t usually layer anything, other than eyeshadows and maybe lipstick/lipgloss, but it really depends on what look I’m trying to achieve.

Yes yes yes….. I always use lipstick and layer it with lipgloss and I layer my blush with a highlighter. I even layer my eyebrows… use a pencil, some powder and a colored gel to set…. Gosh… I’m a “layer” girl??

Yes! Not so much with nail polishes (maybe I should try that to keep from buying so many colors..?? lol) but I love layering eyeshadows and coming up with new lipstick/gloss combos. Keeps things interesting and I’m always amazed at how a different gloss can make a lipstick look so much different.

Yes and yes. I layer all the time, even eye creams (if my eyes are really dry for some reason, and I still want to use the one that does something besides moisturizing). You can find some great combinations ^_^.

Yep. Layering is the way to go! I find that it not only creates really nice effects but also helps makeup last longer on the face/body… which is always a bonus! 🙂

I’m getting into layering nailpolishes. Today its a black MAC nailpolish with Happy Birthday from Lippmann on top. It looks like confetti exploded on my nails. In this case, that’s good!

I LOVE to layer cheek products! Cream blusher, set with powder, then a sweep of powder blusher over the top, a hint on bronzer and then highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones – I’ve learned how to get a nice “candlelit glow” effect with the Benefit slant blush brush and the Smashbox buffing brush.

Lip products I tend to only layer gloss over lipstick because I’m too lazy to apply more than 1 shade of lippie!

I mostly like layering eye shadow. I’ll use 2 colors for blush when I contour, but it’s not exactly layering. I hate layering lip stuff as it’s a hassle. Nail polish is fine when I have time.
