I don’t — admittedly, I’ve just never been one that follows celebrities very much! The older I get, the less names I recognize!

i dont get inspired by celebrity make up. itll be simple things like a shirt or i did an emperor penguin once i just love the colors of their fur. or something on a make-up website that id try to recreate ^.^

I totally agree! She has the best skin and features, which are even enhanced by her wonderful makeup artists Robin Mathews and Beau Nelson.

im inspired by mary kate olsen. Not only her makeup but i love her hair and the way she dresses! otherwise i too dont really pay attention to celebrities im more inspired by movies

Katy Perry– I love her retro feminine look. She overdoes it sometimes, but I like her baby pink lipstick, black eyeliner, coral blush, and light eyeshadow. Though, in reality I’m more of a natural girl, so someone like Jennifer Aniston would be more “me”.

Diane Avatar

Jennifer aniston’s for me too even though she’s way more tan than I am and I’m a brunette. I like how she’s polished but natural. You know she’s wearing makeup but it doesn’t overpower her. Her blush choices always make her look so healthy too! Wish I had that technique mastered.

oh man i have so many…
i hate the hills… but i really love lauren conrad’s makeup!
angelina jolie always looks hot on the runway
natalie portman
kate winslet

-most of these ladies stick to “classic” makeup looks, but i also love to mix it up!

Christine Avatar

I don’t follow celebrity makeup closely but generally I like the glowy, tanned beachy look of Jennifer Aniston and Marisa Miller’s skin and makeup. I also like the Pam Anderson sexy smokey eye look.

Kathy Avatar

I’m not inspired by any celebrity in particular, though I feel that I’m inspired by popular vintage makeup trends that a lot of older actresses/stars wore.

Gwen Stefani and Scarlett Johansson 🙂 I love that they aren’t afraid to use colour, and they have similar colouring to me so it’s very easy to draw inspiration.

i have a wide range of inspirations for my makeup, sometimes celebrities, sometimes other things, but lately i have been thinking of what makeup i can wear when summer finally comes in NZ, and i’ve found myself really inspired by Lauren Conrad’s bronzey cheeks, liquid eyeliner, nude pinky lip look c:

the kardashians. whenever i watch one of their shows i wanna do a serious smokey eye and wear dark vampy nailpolish.

there’s gonna be a marathon on today so i’ll be getting a lot of ideas and things.

I know! I am in love with Kourtney’s makeup, the light pink lips and the golden smokey eye. How she gets smokey to appear natural and soft is beyond me. It just looks so soft and feminine!

The older I get the less I follow celebrities. For the most part, I ignore the makeup, since I have a completely different facial structure(Round, defined bone structure, but with baby cheeks.) My face isn’t sharp enough for the types of defined neutrals that they usually wear. Plus, neutrals bore me. So I drool over nice clothing, or pretty outfits and makeup, but I don’t feel the urge to try to make it work for ME.

Definitley Kim Kardashian, flawless face with a smokey eye, nude lips and natural cheeks are definitley an inspirations. And her sister’s Kourtney and Khloe are inspirations as well(:

i’m not big into celebrities but i do like to channel the vibe of different celebrities by kinda getting inspiration from their make up. Like one day i’ll want to be fierce like beyonce so i’ll copy something of hers, cookie like lady gaga or super feminine like betty from mad men. I also like getting inspiration from different eras too, like 40s style makeup etc.

Lena Avatar

I really don’t follow celebrities either, but I do often find myself inspired by Taylor Momsen. I adore her style and really, really want her hair.

Diane Avatar

No offense to anyone, but to me Kim K. Wears way too much makeup. She’s so pretty, I don’t think she needs that much! But she always looks flawless. Her eyebrows are to die for… And she can rock a smokey look like no one else. I would just like to see her in a more natural look every once in awhile.

I love seeing celebs makeup sinceim not a pro,I need some ideas to help me create a different look. To name a few, Kim k., olsens twins, Hillary duff, j. Lo , Kate moss. I’m excited for new ideas.

Any Indian actress or celebrity. The focus a lot of times is on skin and eyes. They always seem to look flawless and fresh regardless of what they may or may not be promoting. Aishwarya Rai & Amrita Rao are two great examples.

ashley Avatar

wish I could say I don’t fall for the ads & photoshopping etc, but I do…I love Scarlett Johanssen & especially her D & G ads which make me want to buy all the D & G makeup b/c she looks so sexy, sultry yet elegant & classy!

beduinadelasfalto Avatar

Eva Longoria and Jessica Alba mainly cos their skin tones, eyes colour and hair are very similar. I do tend to look what Jennifer Lopez and Shakira wear too

Abril Avatar

I love Mario Dedivanovic (I’m not sure I wrote his last name right haha, he’s Kim K’s makeup artist) not only on Kim, he is really good! I guess I don’t get inspiration by celebrities, I like to follow make up artists and runway trends!

Lakitha Goss Avatar

My inspirations for makeup looks are Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah just to name a few. I also like the makeup looks of other greats such as Chaka Khan (this diva could surely work a bold red lip) and Patti LaBelle among my favorites. I used to love Lil Kim’s makeup looks like the first promotion she did with Mary J. Blige with Viva Glam. I LOVE RUPAUL ALSO.

Vijaya Avatar

I’m with you on the not recognizing celebrities, thing. Except as I’m getting older I recognize more names.

I had no clue who Justin Bieber was until two-ish weeks ago.

I don’t have a celebrity makeup inspiration per se, but I do love Amy Lee’s style clothing-wise.

Stefanie Avatar

Pretty much what other people have said – Rihanna, the Kardashian sisters, and Lauren Conrad. I’ve recently tried to copy a few looks from Lucy Hales (Aria on Pretty Little Liars).

Helena Avatar

Hmm. I don’t wear makeup daily, and when I do I usually don’t try to “copy” other looks, but the celebrities whose makeup I tend to like the most are Dita von Teese, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga.

Mar Avatar

Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Dita von Teese, Katy Perry… All quite classical, except for Katy Perry 😉

I like the classic winged, black eyeliner!

Mary Avatar

I totally LOVE Kim K. makeups, but since I’m rather light type of skin, I can’t use it on my face 😉 I don’t have any particularly inspiration, but sometimes I try to reproduce Emma Watson (amazing brows!) or Kate Beckinsale looks

nikki Avatar

i used to love kim kardashian’s make up, but lately its too much. now i prefer kourtneys and sometimes kholes, as they don’t wear as much make up.
