The Lady Dior Color Collection for Spring 2009 evokes the classic glamour of a Lady Dior handbag: a chic, luxurious must-have with universal appeal. Featuring flattering shades of creamy beige, rosy pink and effortless taupe, the products of the Lady Dior Collection were inspired by the stylish, understated Parisian woman.

Lady Dior ($95.00)

This radiant couture palette for face, cheeks and lips provides easy touch-ups on-the-go. Housed in a delightful handbag-shaped design with “Cannage” stitching and Dior logo letters, the palette features a complexion highlighter and a creamy tint for both cheeks and lips. I always like to save up for the Neiman Marcus Spring and Fall events (spend $100 on makeup lemmings and get a fine bag o’ goodies)… between Shu and Dior I think my shopping list is already full! LOL!

$95?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Honestly?!?!?!?! I know they ARE all kinds of gorgeous, but….$95?!?!? for ONE palette?
Am I the only one who’s outraged? Do we have “sucker!” written all over us?

I don’t care what the lipstick index says! $95 USD for this lady dior, NO way. just saw the news, consumer spending down again. I don’t care how gorgeous it is, it won’t be useful for me anyway.

This entire collection is amazing, especially the quints – I just hope they have good payoff. I have just been drawn to all neutrals lately. And the glosses are to die for.

For the quints, do you know which one is limited edition?
I remember from last year, Pink May was limited
& Spring Bouquet is still there, right?

Just came back from shopping and went to the Dior counter to check out the products.

Lady dior is sold at Rm250 about USD71.50. the quints RM187 , USD54.00. So, I guess french products are cheaper here than american products!

Swatched the parisian eyeshadows, all the colors have high shimmers on them, very fine, almost metallic. The colors look quite like to me.

I like the quints but I have enough eyeshadows at the moment. The colors for this spring can be easily duped with my stash. I have the dior travel studio which has some nice light colors too. I love the lady dior – honestly, the price of RM250 is cheaper than a coach keytag at RM275.00 in Malaysia. And.. you get to use the product too!
