The last one – “New World Purple” looks like “Aztec Chocolate”… we will see. I like this one 😀

Best regards from Germany!

Hi to Germany from NY! Vie gates? I believe New World Purple and Aztec Chocolate are the same. My box says 886 Violet Nouveau Monde Aztec Chocolate. I think I got it from Sephora? It was a while ago.

Purple Revolution looks amazing. I can’t wait to see swatches! What do you think of the new(er) huge brush? I have a little trouble with it.

All of these colors are repromotes. Have they reformulated them? Or better yet do they have the old brush? All have been available for months. I thought the Fall colors were Tuxedo and Denim. Or perhaps these are not “limited edition,” but a new core collection?

PS. The photos here are not very accurate. For instance, Purple Revolution is an almost black purple (no neon), Masai Red is not that vivid or blue toned, and New World Purple (aka Aztec Chocolate) is browner. Also, Diorlisse is their basecoat, not a color, and has been available for ages. Are they repromoting it as a color? Very strange…

I’m not seeing anything all that special here warranting that kind of spend. But the Rock Coat topcoat sounds interesting and I’d be interested to see what that’s like in actual use.
