Cult Nails Feelin’ Froggy Nail Lacquer ($10.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is medium-dark green green with subtle yellow undertones and emerald green shimmer. I think this might look more emerald green against those with cooler undertones (my yellow undertones seem to bring out the subtle yellow undertones in the polish). I love that I don’t have anything that’s close to this shade! There’s a soft, muted quality to it that is missing from possible dupes. Sinful Colors HD Nails is brighter, more yellow-toned. China Glaze Starboard is a grassy green and has a cream finish–same with Essie Pretty Edgy.

It was opaque after two coats, and it was easy to apply.  I thought it was going to be slightly sheer, because the initial coat was fairly sheer, but it builds well.  The consistency was a good balance of thickness/thinness (though I’d say it’s on the thinner side), so it was a cinch to apply and guide the polish across the nail bed without having it pool along the sides.  There seems to be very faint brush strokes that only appear under really bright light (like flash photography), which I didn’t notice at all when wearing it.  Typically, I get a full week or longer of wear with Cult Nails’ polish with no chipping and very minimal tip wear.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!
