I sooo want the palette! Their brushes are nice, inexpensive options but I don’t need any brushes…not that I need anymore eye shadow palettes but I will be buying this as soon as it’s available. Come to mama!

I don’t trust it. The entire second row looks incredibly warm toned as well as a few others and to me the photo also kind of looks like a grey cast filter was put on it to make things look cooler. HOWEVER I do love their metallics (of which there are plenty here) and the majority of these do speak to me. We’ll see. I’m not going to buy it without having the opportunity to see swatches floating around because CP has just burned too much with “oh look I’m cool toned” and really missed the mark recently.

There’s comparison swatches up on youtube already. There are some mauve tones that are warmer, but compared to the bare necessities palette it is cool toned. If you have the new taupe palette there seems to be very similar shades, so something to keep in mind if you don’t want 9 near dupes.

Make Up Just For Fun on youtube did a swatch comparison an all the colors in the Stone Cold Fox palette can be found in 4 previous palettes and those are Fame, Making Mauves, Flutter By and Bare Necessities. If you have those 4 palettes then you basically already have Stone Cold Fox 😉😊

Not the palette for me but definitely think it will do well. I’m not too keen on mattes with sparkle though, that just never really makes sense as choice for me lol. The brushes sure are pretty! I wish a high end brand would release some white handle brush sets!

To me, this looks like Colour Pop’s version of ND’s Glam palette – whether it will be as good or not depends upon the brand fixing up their formulas and not adding glitter particles to their shades.
And CP has a history of calling a palette cool toned and it turns out to be quite warm.
I think the palette is far too large and some of those mattes look suspiciously like a few others.
We shall see with the review.

I missed the mauve, taupe, and bare necessities releases and kept waiting for them to be in stock at the same time. This makes that wait over. I just hope I remember to log in at the right time tomorrow and pick this up! Gah, I am a sucker for these cool tones. 🤤

I love this palette and don’t have any of the CP 9 pan dupes. However, I know I can dupe whatever look I’d get with other cool toned shadows I have as singles, and individual shades in palettes such as TF choc bonbons. I’d be tempted if it goes on deep discount for Black Friday, though. Wonder what folks think of their brushes?

I love this palette. I do feel like it is a combination of the urban decay 2 and 3 neutral palettes, which is great because I had to decluttered those since they were so old, and I wasn’t happy with the formula. I know alot of people don’t like colourpop formula but I have never had an issue with any of the releases I have bought. This is a larger palette than what I would want but as long as I can remove them from the palette and put them in my zpalettes I know I will get an immense use out of these. I really haven’t bought any new colourpop releases since they released the just my luck palette. Not eyeshadows anyway. I will be springing for this for sure.

When brands restock but don’t actually have it as a permanent item, e.g. 90% of what ColourPop offers – I can’t take “permanent” from ColourPop as meaningful because almost every time I’ve asked, they said something was permanent and in less than six months, half that range was gone.

Lauren Avatar

Were this condensed to one of their smaller palettes I think I’d scoop it up as I’ve never gone for a neutral-ish palette. Christine, do you wince when someone comes out with a palette this big, knowing you’ll have to review every shade? I would lol.

Val Avatar

Gorgeous. Will also pass, I’m about to do another declutter and my max palette size is 16ish. Anything larger is too overwhelming and sitting there paralyzed by indecision is not fun! (My quota for indecision paralysis has been met since March.)

Like others, I am interested in seeing swatches and more dupe data; but I am certain that I can dupe most (if not all) of the shades. As well, their photography leaves something to be desired. I seldom wear warm shades, cool shades wear better for me.

For those that do opt for this palette, may it give you excellent makeup looks every time. =)

Just made my first ColourPop purchase yesterday. It must’ve been hours before this became available on the site. Frankly, I’m glad it wasn’t up yet because I would’ve been tempted to spend more money! This is the kind of palette I drool over, while at the same time knowing that I never use them as much as I’d like to. Never owned a big one like this either… not sure how useful they are to non-professionals.

Mary B. Avatar

There really only seem to be about 6-8 differentiated colors. I mean: taupe, a very slightly lighter taupe, a very slightly darker taupe, a bunch of medium browns, a bunch of dark browns, and so on. They are NOT going to look noticeably different once they’re applied to the eye, and this palette really makes me wonder how big of a sucker ColourPop thinks we all are. Easiest pass ever, and am fed up with CP in general.

Jane Avatar

I’ll wait for the review and to see how much ND’s Glam or the new Lorac palettes dupe it. It costs as much to ship here as the purchase so I have very little ColourPop products. Looks very complete though in comparison with the two mentioned.
