The first eyeshadow palette is very very light it would look chalky on me…
Is it just me or do the eyeshadow palettes look like Huda’s Mercury Retrograde? I had that palette and — I know I’m in the minority here — did not like it, so I decluttered it ages ago. I loved the color story but it was one of those palettes that was too much work. Since these eyeshadow palettes look to me like a very similar color story, it was an easy purchase. Say what you will about ColourPop, i.e. the constant stream of new releases, rehashes, color stories, etc., but they are the only brand I order from on a regular basis anymore. I like their eyeshadow formula, enjoy their blushes, love their eyeliners, and use many of their skincare and body products. For the price point, I don’t feel robbed if I don’t like something, and more often than not, I’m satisfied with my purchases. Who thought CP would be “the last man standing” so to speak?
I immediately thought Mercury Retrograde, too.
I 100% agree with you, Christina. It is rather amazing how their quality has continued to be very high while churning out a new product every couple of days. I can’t remember when I purchased something I didn’t like.
That one cheek quad Shell Yeah and Beach Please Stay Glassy look like fun, very summery little goodies! But, I’m not feeling all that impressed with the eyeshadow palettes, particularly the lighter shimmer shades. Those seriously lack pigmentation.
I like the Shell Yeah Cheek Palette. With Salt and Goat are hitting the right vibes and the other two I could probably use around the eyes.
Hmmm – not overly wowed by these. I guess it’s because we have seen these kinds of combinations from CP’s many releases before.
I noticed they kept the Satin Pearl for these but not the Sheer Sparkle formula?
