ColourPop LA Pressed Powder Bronzer Review & Swatches

LA
ColourPop LA Pressed Powder Bronzer ($8.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a medium-dark, rusty brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. The powder had a silky texture that was smooth, velvety, and blendable, but there was moderate powderiness; I’d use a lighter hand when picking up the product to avoid over-applying the color. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

ColourPop's Pressed Powder Bronzer is supposed to have a "super velvety-soft" feel that yields a "natural tanned glow." There was no mention of coverage, but the brand's promotional swatches showed full coverage. The bronzers had a soft, silky texture that was slightly powdery in the pan but tended to apply with ease, blended out nicely, and sat well on the skin. The majority of the shades seemed to have a semi-matte to satin finish, which helped them glide on and appear more natural (in finish) on the skin. The wear ranged from eight to eight and a half hours on me.

It’s so lovely on you as a blush! :o)
Normally, I’d never think of using a bronzer as a blush, nor something truly matte, but I love this shade for that purpose! That it received an A seals that deal for me.
That’s a really lovely looking shade that would suit a range of complexions, a subtle finish too.
Wow. I’ve never been tempted by a bronzer before this, but this one looks like it would look natural with my ridiculously pink complexion. Nice!
