“123 shades” – I think you’ve got a typo there!
That looks pretty good. I love the fall colors. I’d go for this over the Natasha Denona Safari palette.
I AM SO HERE FOR THIS 😀
This is super pretty and imo the best thing ColourPop has put out in awhile.. I won’t be getting it because it violates the rules of my low-buy but I’m hoping I can pick up a few of these colors as singles.
Your eye design is beautiful Christine!
Hi Christine– this palette looks different from the photos on the CP site. Not only are their photos dull and muted, but the shade descriptions seem a bit off! For example, they describe Flow as a “matte blackened olive brown” when it clearly is some type of purple in your photos. It also looks to be a deep brown shade on their site. It may be a mistake on their part or just bad photos, but I plan to get it anyway based on your swatches– fingers crossed I get the same palette as shown in your photos! Thanks!
You’re right. Looks like in Christine’s palette the pans Flow and Trophies are switched.
Looks like the swatches for Trophies and Flow are mixed up. Looks like a promising palette though!
Hi Sadia,
If you look above at the palette photo (it’s as it arrived – I didn’t move any around!), the shade Trophies is a deep taupe and Flow is a plum – they align with how they are put into the palette.
It just sounds like they are switched around on ColourPop’s site; they both exist within the paeltte so I don’t think it should matter in terms of what you get because you’ll still get the same 12.
True! Getting it anyway, so what am I complaining about? 😉 Thanks!
ColourPop just confirmed that they are inverted in the press samples (I will be fixing mine tomorrow).
Thanks for checking!
I generally really like Colourpop’s pressed powder shadows and this palette looks to be well worth the money. Still haven’t decided between getting this one or the upcoming Morphe 35M Boss Mood palette but this one looks like a strong contender. You gotta wonder how pricey brands can get away with selling sub-par shadow formulas when there are such nice cheep options.
These look really good quality shades, with excellent pigmentation.
Sensational eye look Christine.
Very nice. Lends itself to lots of very fall combos. Ebb is so much more green than many whose pan looks virtually identical…they often come out more antique gold. And a cool brown. How yay. Just might have to do this one, as it does not seem terribly duped in stash! Haven’t been psyched over any Christmas yet, so why not?
The swatches make it seem as if a couple of these could be better, but that doesn’t say whether or not they’ll be effective on the eyes. To me, this seems like both an odd and an inspired combination of colors — I rather like it. I don’t need any of these (well … Trophies seems pretty unique, and I’m sure I don’t have anything like it, but I’m not getting a whole palette just for that color). If I had seen this 10 years ago, I’d have snatched it up in a heartbeat.
how similar is pencil me in matte lux lipstick and hello stranger crème lux lipstick?
At first glance I (figuratively) yawned.
At second glance, I thought it’s not quite as boring as I thought at first.
At third glance, I decided I wanted it.
At fourth glance, I reeled myself back in and reminded myself that I can dupe the shades I like the best from this palette.
Very nice shades, cute 1980s-esque packaging. But I’m going to pass on this one.
I hope Trooper comes in a single, I’ve been looking for a good mustard yellow to add to my collection that isn’t part of a palette and it looks like it might fit the bill. The rest of the collection is quite pretty, if I didn’t have dupes for a lot of it already I’d pick it up.
I think i would make a huge mess if I tried to imitate it, but I think this is one of my favorite looks I’ve seen you do, Christine.
This palette is stunning w your hair colour!
