That was my first thought as well! Which makes me wary, because I don’t understand the point of those products–they don’t really stain, they don’t really moisturize, and they don’t come in many colors. Hopefully these will be a better bet. 🙂

Didn’t Clinique have something similar many years ago? I seem to remember having a grape-colored one about 10 years ago (wow!), but I think it was more lipstick-y.

These are cute and very afordable too. I like the colours as well. However, I like my lip colours with a tang of shimmer in them. A creamy colour makes me look bland and dull. Unless of course I dab a bit of shimmy gloss on the lower lip.
Pretty.

HAHAHHAHAA! Me too! Some of the marker colors (anyone else old enough to remember the beautiful ones from Japan?) were so beautiful, I always wanted a few for a lip color.

I really hope these work well, but I am afraid they will be a balmy mess. But I will go to the counter to play with them when they come out.

I’m so excited for these to come out! I tested them at my internship “9the tough life of a beauty intern) and they sort of made my life. I love any lip product that is balm, color and protection in one.
