haha…CHUBBY!i love that word..
Ooh I’ve been looking for something like this to stash in my make-up bag. Will have to check these out 🙂
is this supposed to be like a cross between a lip balm and a stain? if so, I think I want me some! XD
these remind me of tarte’s lipsurgence natural lip tint, just $10 cheaper. maybe i’ll check them out.
That was my first thought as well! Which makes me wary, because I don’t understand the point of those products–they don’t really stain, they don’t really moisturize, and they don’t come in many colors. Hopefully these will be a better bet. 🙂
Hey Christine, do you know how many grams in the product? (I guess not, but I still had to ask)
🙂
No, sorry!
0.1 ounces are in this product! they are available on Sephoras website currently! http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P279113&categoryId=B70
can you do a review?
they look like Tarte’s lipstains to me, but at least they’re cheaper.
That is the worst name ever for a lip product.
I have to agree with you. It’s a reformulation of an older product with the same, terrible name. But they are awesome!
Agreed!
The product in the pencils doesn’t look real in this shot, almost plastic. >_< It would be interesting to see how these work in swatches.
I agree.
They’re really sheer when swatched.
Love the name! Can’t wait to swatch Whole Lotta Honey, Richer Raisin, Mega Melon, and Fuller Fig!!!
Looks great. I will have to try these out!
uuuuh.. i loove 😀
what happens when you use up the tip?
ooohwiiieee!!!! BUILDABLY colored, tinted, lip balm!!! 🙂 🙂
…called Chubby nonetheless.
Can’t wait to see these swatched, they’re adorable and the price is right!
The jello is squicking me out a bit, but I love the look of the colors!
how do you sharpen these?
It says they twist up.
This picture makes me want to eat Jello :p
OMG Me too!
Didn’t Clinique have something similar many years ago? I seem to remember having a grape-colored one about 10 years ago (wow!), but I think it was more lipstick-y.
You are correct! These are a reformulation. No more sharpening! They feel..more weightless than lipstick.
o0oo mega melon!
These are cute and very afordable too. I like the colours as well. However, I like my lip colours with a tang of shimmer in them. A creamy colour makes me look bland and dull. Unless of course I dab a bit of shimmy gloss on the lower lip.
Pretty.
I’m liking the concept!
Anyone know if these are going to have a lustre finish (like a lipbalm) or an amplified finish (like the picture?)
i hope the latter!
i love how the tube, stays true to the actual stick color of the stick!
perfect!
I love this concept! I always had the urge to colour my lips in with markers when I was a kid…this will let me do it without ink poisoning!
HAHAHHAHAA! Me too! Some of the marker colors (anyone else old enough to remember the beautiful ones from Japan?) were so beautiful, I always wanted a few for a lip color.
I really hope these work well, but I am afraid they will be a balmy mess. But I will go to the counter to play with them when they come out.
my clinique had them today i guess they got them in 2 days ago! yayy i got chunky cheery! literally so moistureizing!
I want them all 🙂
Oh my gosh! These look amazing! I am a Clinique junkie, so it’s not hard to get me excited about a new product to lust after at GWP time! So cool, can’t wait to try these!
will these be limited edition, do you know? =)
Looks really good – I liked Tarte’s lip crayon’s (and the idea of lip crayons in general) – hope they’re moisturizing, glossy, and pigmented ^_^
I’m so excited for these to come out! I tested them at my internship “9the tough life of a beauty intern) and they sort of made my life. I love any lip product that is balm, color and protection in one.
Wonder how these compare to Lise Watier (WHEN will those products get into U.S. stores!!Argh!) gloss sticks?
I LOVE this lip balm. It’s one I actually use all the time, and I forget to carry my lip balm with me when I work.
