I have never been wowed by packaging … until now. That eyeshadow palette is stunning! Of course, for $125, it’d have to include ingredients tha permanently take 20 years off my eyes. Beautiful, but no eyeshadow (heart-stopping packaging or no) is worth that.

We used to think the EL VB palette was impressive. The along came Cle. OMBFG! I could be in on this, if I don’t spend too much elsewhere. Adore the color selection, the embossing is tooooo deco, as is the palette art. It is like modern Erte, and functional. Maybe I should rationalize by adding up the things I’m foregoing. There’s a new approach!

OMG I’m a sucker for cosmetic packaging. And this – wow! I was really, really going to try to curb my spending a bit before the holidays…but this comes along! I don’t think the shades in the shadow palette are great for me but both lip palettes could work well. Yikes.

Oooh, that eye shadow palette looks unique and interesting, both in packaging and colors for Cle de Peau, will need to check that out for sure. IDK about the lip palette, kind of looks like little girl play makeup.

Christine it all looks pretty. Especially the lipstick palette with the purple/mauve shades. Will you review the eyeshadow compact? I only own three single eyeshadows from this line and I am curious to see if they get a great review. I might be interested depending on how they swatch and your review. I find myself hoping they will get a bad review so I will save money.

Yes it’s pretty, but it’s just a pretty piece of plastic and only 8 shadows for a whopping $125! The shadows look very basic, there are only two interesting shades – the red and teal. Nothing can explain the pricing on this palette other than paying for the name itself.

Why, oh why do they make such pretty things?? lol Now if the colors are as fabulous in performance as the design of the packaging, my wallet’s in real trouble!

CDP is always expensive so I am not surprised that they are asking $125.00 for this eye shadow palette. I think the colors are beautiful but not sure until they are swatched whether they will prove to be decent. Also need to see if the depth of color is there since these all look like pretty dupable colors unless there is something more unique when they are swatched. Like everyone else I think the artwork is beautiful and if I was going to hang it on my wall then maybe but …..

I like more the packaging, especially the painting, than the eyeshadow themselves, lol.
The colors are beautiful but not worth 125$.
So I’m saving the image and passing the shadows ;).

I just ordered the eye palette it was too hard to resist. I would love to order the lip palette also in the dark pink and mauve shades but I could only order one thing and the eye palette looks so beautiful. I can not wait for your review.
