China Glaze Can't Miss Summer Colors
I finally received my nail polish haul from, oh, THREE WEEKS ago! (Sigh!!) I did quickie swatches (let’s face it, if I waited until I had time to do clean, professional, pretty ones… you’d never see them) of everything I got, so expect to see an influx of nail polish posts this coming week 🙂 The one above is from China Glaze’s Ecollection – you know, eco-llection. I was tempted to get Recycle and Shower Together, but another gray caught my eye, and with fall/winter coming, blue just won’t be worn, I know it. So, resist, I must!
(As always, swatches are done with two coats of the polish.)
Check out Secret Peri-wink-le from Operation: Colour, too!
Tree Hugger looks so nice. I’m ordering now for the winter season 🙂 Maybe i’ll get it by then 😛
Haha 😉
OMG, seriously, I have been on a nail polish streak lately, and allll the nail blogs haven’t been updated in like… days! LOL!
So this is awesome!! Thanks for reading my mind!
I just got the Recycle and 2BKEWL set and they’re awesome! I also invested in the Zoya “Color Lock” system you talked about, and I am FLOORED!! I’ve never had polish last without chipping for more than a day or 2, but with this stuff I went like 5 DAYS!! It’s awesome!! XD
Haha! 😉 Awesome sets. I missed out on those, and there were just so many others I wanted that I didn’t end up thinking about the 2BKEWL set. I’m so glad the Color Lock system is working out so well 🙂
i love the baby blue colour! and the green is really pretty as well.
i’ve always loved china glaze nail polishes.
the problem with polishes though… is that even if i buy them, i wouldn’t be able to paint my nails in a neat way… especially when i’m using my left hand to paint my right (as i’m right-handed). so sometimes i’d rather get them done professionally once in a while instead. hehe 😀
Aww!! It takes practice and some patience, Viv 🙂 I also find having a cheap paint brush (very small) dipped in remover is good for any mistakes. Personally, I do them at night or when I’m not doing much, so that they clean themselves up by the time I go out!
ooo! thanks for the tip! I usually use q-tips but i suppose they’re a bit fat for small teeny mistakes. will definitely move onto the brush now : )
They even have nail polish eraser pens for mistakes 😀
where in the world can i order china glaze polishes online? i found a site that was offering them for super, super, cheap…but i’m always a bit leary of sites like that.
any secure sites i can definitely score some from?
I highly recommend http://www.head2toebeauty.com. Another similar site (also reputable but their shipping rates are higher for me) is http://www.8ty8beauty.com. Lastly, try eBay. Reputable and great sellers are “justpolish” and “maiandjays”.
I second 8ty8beauty 🙂
I get mine from 8ty8beauty.com 🙂 Their shipping is reasonable and pretty speedy unless a color (or TWO) are out of stock, as was in my case.
The periwinkle is unique. The green is hideous.
I like the green, and I’m not generally a green polish fan, but to each their own 🙂 I have yet to find a really yellow polish I’m down for!
I love that blue, it’s just darling. What a pretty, wintery blue! I’d probably do something silly like stripe it with cotton candy pink, but that’s just me =]
Aw, cute 🙂 I don’t have the patience or skills to do that, haha!
I love China Glaze polishes!! So pigmented and not gloopy 🙂 I have (ahem!) a few shades now, alongside with the OPI and Zoya polishes that I have…
What are some of your favorite China Glaze shades?
I just bought my first China Glaze polishes- For Audrey and Recycle. I wore For Audrey with no topcoat and it lasted FOREVER. SO HAPPY. I heart Audrey Hepburn… 🙂
I’m currently on my 5th day with Recycle and I adore the color and there are zero chips, dents, etc.
