We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Gotcha. I thought you were just saying in general to get a sense of what the colors look like out of the package since this is just a photo of the product itself. There are a bunch of skin tones if you go to the site and choose a color and go to the bottom of the page under the add to bag (although how helpful their swatches are vs non promotional swatches if that is what you are looking for is going to be varied for sure). Hopefully you find the swatches you need. Looks like this is a “1 week promo” until they bring it back next year. Gives time to let the hype settle down, look at reviews, and let the FOMO wear off!

I love a good lip stain, but I find the ones that are marketed towards lips and cheeks tend to have a funny taste to them. Most of my stains these days come from KBeauty since they are more for lips than trying to be dual purpose (so no taste to them). I am curious to see how these wear because I see some colors that aren’t common for stains. However, I have also never seen a nude stain that actually stained (usually the pinks/purples, reds, and orange/corals are the ones with lasting power). I do love seeing more stains on the market so we’ll see!

Hope SPRINGS eternal. I get that we want to SPRING forward to a (hopefully) more ‘normal’ and healthy time, but it is over a week before Thanksgiving. Some folks complain that holiday has eclipsed fall releases, and holiday is definitely available, but spring in November? IMO, that’s pushing it. Maybe we can have holiday 2021 on NYE. The products seem on trend, sufficiently innovative, and should perform well. But early February might have been a more reasonable time before their ‘targeted’ season. I know this is bitchy, but can’t we enjoy living and makeup in the present, rather than thinking about the next big thing?

I would not have had the grumpy feeling, had the release been for Valentine’s Day. There’s a heart theme, and it’s much closer than true spring. Please excuse the cranky rant.
