Charlotte Tilbury Medium Beautiful Skin Sun-kissed Glow Cream Bronzer ($56.00 for 0.74 oz.) is a medium brown with subtle, warm reddish undertones and a matte finish. I noticed that it had a tendency to have a grayish cast against my particular skin tone, despite seeming to have warmth in its undertone.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to "blur, hydrate, and add" a "wash of sun-kissed colour," while also being "sweat proof" and "humidity proof" that delivers 16-hour wear. It seemed to have more of a cream-to-powder formulation, as the product was dense, almost like heavy velvet mixed with clay, and thick in the pan. When used with a brush, it did deliver a "wash" of colour as it was such a heavy and dense formula that little picked up a brush. With a fingertip, one could get nearly opaque coverage in one layer, so for those who prefer more coverage, that would be the route to go.
I was skeptical based on the way it felt to the touch, but I didn't have any issues getting color to pick up evenly on a stippling brush, and the color applied evenly to bare skin as well as on top of foundation without being prone to lifting up base products. I would agree that it was fairly "sweat proof," but it depended on the base products it went over on just how long-wearing/"proof" it was. On bare skin, the formula lasted nine to 10 hours on me, while over the brand's own Beautiful Skin foundation, it was eight to nine hours.
I noticed that the two lighter shades (Fair and Medium at the time of review) leaned grayer than the average bronzer and against my undertones (neutral-to-warm), even though all four shades are designed to add a "sun-kissed" and "bronzed glow."

They’re not at all the same – this is matte and Makeup by Mario’s are dewy!

Thanks Christine for this clarification because it looks dry on you and I’m thinking that’s not the way I want to go as a mature lady.
I’m noticing the dupes list is missing recently. It must take a lot to compile but it’s often one of the most useful parts of your reviews for me. It lets me know if I already have a particular shade and can pass on it and for things like bronzers it lets me know what shade will work for my skin tone. I don’t understand getting rid of such a useful tool.
I’m not getting rid of them, I am just behind adding them due to both personal circumstances (less time) but also chronic pain (so I can only do so much per day of repetitive activity) in my index finger, which is what I need to enter dupes. There are just days where I have to focus on writing reviews, editing photos, etc. and then I get behind on the dupes as they are the most taxing physically on my hand right now. I’m very sorry!

Reddish, grayish, yet warm. Sounds like it’s right up my alley! I typically go for duller, non-orange, but red-based bronzers to not just warm up my complexion, but also sculpt my features a bit.
Hmm – a greyish cast – it shouldn’t have that in it for such an expensive product.
