Do you notice any differences (on average) between more affordable and more expensive hair care?

Do you notice any differences (on average) between more affordable and more expensive hair care?

I have low maintenance hair, so for me, I don’t see a massive difference; a lot of times, it’s in the development of the scent (or the lack of intensity/overpowering scents) and a bit in the texture or how well the product might rinse out or feel in the hair throughout the day.

Do you notice any differences (on average) between more affordable and more expensive skincare?

Do you notice any differences (on average) between more affordable and more expensive skincare?

For things like thicker moisturizers, I do; I feel like mid-end (not necessarily high-end or luxury-priced) will give me a better texture (creamier but not as heavy or as thick) and dry down, but there are affordable gems to be found everywhere. Luxury skincare usually has an overwhelming scent,...

Do you notice any differences (on average) between more affordable and more expensive mascaras?

Do you notice any differences (on average) between more affordable and more expensive mascaras?

Do you notice any differences (on average) between more affordable and more expensive eyeshadow?

Do you notice any differences (on average) between more affordable and more expensive eyeshadow?

There are exceptions, but a lot of drugstore brands put out weaker, more powdery eyeshadow, so it takes more hunting and research to find the gems. I also think it depends on what you’re looking for, too, because if you don’t want pigment or don’t mind powderiness, then the differences would...
