I usually wear pencil eyeliner, so I just apply directly to my lower lash line using the pencil. I tend to short strokes so that I can sure even coverage and that I get between my lasehs.

I like tapered highlighting brushes overall, and ones I reach for often are: Hakuhodo B5521BkSL (also have other hair variations of this one), Chikuhodo Z-4, Wayne Goss Brush 10, Wayne Goss Brush 14. I usually pat the highlighter along the tops of my cheekbones and then lightly sweep to blend.
