To a degree. I am not always expecting brands to reinvent the wheel, and sometimes brands try to do so and it’s just… not innovative and feels more like a money grab by saying “it’s new!” I want to see brands that are looking forward so that if better ingredients or formulations become...
I like that they do some color and non-traditional hues and finishes because this isn’t as readily present in more mass/drugstore brands (you can certainly find it at a lower price point, but you’re looking at indie and niche brands or ones that are online-only!). I wish I enjoyed their updated eyeshadow formula more (mattes are better but shimmers seem rather inconsistent) as they used to be such a go-to rec for budget-friendly eyeshadow palettes.

If I don’t like it or find it frustrating to use, I don’t bother at all. There are too many great products in my stash to deal with products that perform poorly! Otherwise, if it smells different, looks off, etc. then I’ll toss.

I don’t keep a written down wish list; I have a running list in my brain of what products are releasing and an idea of which ones I’ll be purchasing in advance.
