Finally! I am allergic to fragrances and hair products that are scent free are incredibly hard to get. The natural brands I use feel ineffective, like putting water in your hair. Glad that there is finally a quality hair brand that goes scent free.
Despite the hype, Briogeo products never worked for me and I consider them lower quality than some drugstore brands.
But I truly appreciate the brand offering fragrance free option, as a person who dislikes scented body and hair care. I simply want to smell clean… like nothing… if I want to smell like something, I’ll wear a perfume. But others love scents in everything, so having both options is great.
I thought it was only me that felt this way! I did not like the way my hair has felt after using any of the products and I have tried hard to like this brand.
I hope this brings about a permanent trend of brands adding in fragrance-free options to their hair and body product lines.
I love this! Tried some Briogeo products before, and they smelles WAY too strong for me. These I can probably even share with the kids! ???
I hope this means the Be Gentle, Be Kind line may one day come in a pump bottle form as the conditioner is super thick and the bottles are really difficult to squeeze. They’re bad enough if you’re healthy but if your hands have issues its REAL bad but it’s such a good line I keep buying it despite that. I may check how this new line measure up in terms of hair needs and if there’s enough overlap may switch to this one simply because of the pump bottle…
And by Be Gentle, Be Kind line I mean the Superfoods line within that line lol. Didn’t realize these were also of the same name.
I had such an appreciation for Clinique’s lip balm tube which had ridges on the cap… easier to open.
I’m pleasantly surprised that they’re specifically calling out essential oils. People are obsessed with “nature,” but “natural” fragrances can be just as irritating and sensitizing as synthetic ones—if not more so, honestly; synthetics are reliable and consistent! Nature is variable and volatile!
This collection looks promising. I think it’s time there was an overhaul of the hair care industry to promote gentler shampoos and conditioners. I just hope they work.
What an excellent idea! I don’t need to avoid any of those ingredients myself, but it’s great to see a brand put out an option for those who do have sensitivities.
