Bobbi Brown Jet/Chrome Dual-Ended Eyeliner

Bobbi Brown Jet/Chrome Dual-Ended Eyeliner

Bobbi Brown Jet/Chrome Dual-Ended Eyeliner ($24.00 for 0.02 oz.) consists of a black and silver. This is a new formula for Bobbi Brown, but it is also limited edition–go figure!

  • Jet is a creamy, rich black. It’s fairly pigmented in a single pass and fully opaque in two. Jet is one of the darker black eyeliners I’ve come across, and it actually held up well on the waterline (four to six hours).
  • Chrome is a medium-sark silver with a metallic finish and small, darker silver glittery bits. It’s a bit darker and less cool-toned compared to other silver eyeliners. It had decent color payoff in one stroke, though because of the sparkly texture, it doesn’t take well to multiple passes; two is good, but you’ll have to be mindful of going back and forth here.

Like Chocolate/Bronze, this is a stellar eyeliner and the formula is just as good in this duo as it was in the first one I reviewed. I love the creaminess of the pencil and how easily it glides across the lash line without tugging or skipping. Even though these are extremely soft and creamy, they still wear for twelve hours without fading, migrating, or smudging. I only wish these were permanent and either they reduced the price or had more product in them–at 0.02 oz., these are half the size of other pencils on the market.

Wow, that black is so dark and the silver is so pretty! I’m happy to hear the liners wear well on the waterline, it’s so hard to find liners that don’t smudge everywhere or fade when applied to the waterline. It would be nice if BB made these permanent, I hate falling in love with LE products 🙁

Christine, this is completely unrelated to this post and I’m sorry, but does Guerlain make a scent that smells like their meteorites? Every time I open my little tin it’s a treat for my nose and it’s a scent I’d love to wear.

there was actually one called just “meteorites”, it was discontinued, if you try to search “meteorites eau de toilette” there are still stores carry this perfume. hope it helps.

I’m a huge fan of Bobbi Brown and luckily my husband supports my addiction so I was surprised when he picked this up for me. My skin tone is medium to dark so the silver really pops against my skin. I’m actually wearing the chrome (silver) lined within my bottom eye and the jet right at my lash line and my top lid is lined in jet, smudged of course. In applying it didn’t tug on my skin like some other pencils do. Very creamy and easy to use.

Ooh, I really like this one! I didn’t really like the Chocolate/Bronze one, since I don’t use brown eyeliner that often, and I definitely wouldn’t use two different colors, but that black liner so so gorgeous and pigmented!

Right now I am totally in love with Milani lique’fy eyeliner pencils…they are so so gorgeous and long lasting. I had been on a hunt for such a great product since last 8 years…but finally…so I m not going for BB eyeliners at all. But thanks Christine, you are doing a great work…it was through your review only that I found Milani ones.

I MUST get a try on this at BB counter! SO GORGEOUS that i just couldnt let it go without trying lol …by the way, christine what would be your favourite black pencil eyeliner? (currently im using MAC)

Oh man, that black liner is sooooo tempting, especially because my waterline smudges easily. I don’t wear eyeliner often, but this might be too good to pass up. I know you’ve mentioned in the past that you have sensitivity issues with some kohl liners – did you have the same problem with this one at all? I have similar irritation issues, but more when I apply it to my waterline.

That’s encouraging to hear. I think I’ll go ahead and grab it then. If it doesn’t work out, I’m sure my sister won’t mind inheriting herself some higher-end liners. 😀
