On my warmer, light-medium skin tone, I love Korres Natural, Kevyn Aucoin Natura, and more recently, Chanel Jersey!

Chanel Jersey is proving to be highly versatile:)
My all time favorite go with anything blush is Milani Luminoso. It
Is just so beautiful. I own many mac, nars, and tarts blushes but Luminoso is still my go to. Something about it on my skin just makes me look like I’m flowin from within. It’s by far my all time fave!
No, I haven’t found a blush that works with every look, especially since I switch up my lip colors a lot. But I did find a blush set that covers almost all my looks – Tarte Chic to Cheek, which has blushes in pink, plum, nude, and coral. Love it!
i gravitate towards plummy rose shades to go with any look. my go to is Tarte’s Dazzled
Nars is always my go to for shades that work everyday. I like Dolce Vita, Amour, Orgasm or Doceur.
I love Chanel’s creme blush in Destiny and of course the Universal favorite Tarte’s Exposed blush! Both look incredibly natural and defining and never clash with any look!
MAC Cubic
I’m NC15-NC20
Yes! And that’s Tarte’s Exposed! A nice neutral shade, some people prefer it in the winter, but I prefer it all year around and with many looks.
Yes, My Armani blush in shade #2 from a few years back. It’s perfect for any look. Chanel Jersey is also on my list to buy because it’s similar but much warmer.
Benefit Hervana – light, neutral pink, which looks like my natural blush
most of my blushes are the exact/similar shade of pink as my cheeks so I guess so. I though a warm toned pink might stand out against my cool undertone skin/foundation but it doesn’t. *shrugs*
mac sweet sentiments, nars orgasm, giorgio armani 509
I feel like Nars Deep Throat is my universal blush.
Also light medium warmer skin tone, and I wear Becca Songbird everyday over all of my other blushes.
Estee Lauder Pure Color blush in Sensuous Rose!
Chanel Jersey for me….thinking bout a back up
Yup – Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Natural Beauty. If they ever discontinue that one, I’ll have a problem! It looks exactly like its name – “natural” on me – the shade I flush or blush naturally.
As someone who is extremely fair, I have to say, Illamasqua’s Naked Rose is perfect for any occasion!
I second Naked Rose! I’m also very fair. I also love DiorBlush My Rose for an everyday, goes-with-anything look. It’s a little lighter than Naked Rose.
My MAC blush in Melba always goes with any look. If I am in the mood for a cream blush, then NYX Cream Blush in Natural has never disappointed me. I am NC 35 for reference 🙂
I am NC15 and have a blush that’s very similar to Melba, only a touch peachier and lighter–Cameo Glo by mark. I don’t think they make it anymore, though. Melba is definitely a close second for me.
Most recently is has been Nars Almeria. In the Sunmer it was Nars Amour and prior to that it was Nars Dolce Vita.
I think Warm Glow from Smashbox goes with pretty much any look 🙂
Usually a peach with a bit of pink in it. My current favorite is the Bourjois Cream Blush in Nude Velvet.
Yup! Black Radiance in Toasted Almond or MAC’s Raizin.
Mac Melba
For my warm, light to med skin tone, I love Mac Sincere,
Lancome’s Miel Glace goes with anything, although I particular like to pair it with red / bolder lip colors. On my third blush, been using it for years!
I love Miel Glace, too!
Nars Douceur or Tarte Exposed go with pretty much anything (shedding a tear here for Douceur’s discontinued status).
Wow, I’m shocked that NARS is discontinuing Douceur. I wonder if they will be releasing a similar shade as Douceur is so well-loved.
So am I, if only because I’ve heard everybody praising it. I personally find it similar to Unlawful, although Unlawful is a bit darker and has the silver shimmer. They’re similar enough that in answering this question, I actually paused over which to list because I’ve often substituted them depending on which I find first in the ungodly mess on my makeup table. Still, you’d think every brand would keep a neutral, no-frills bronzey blush in their lineup; I have no idea what the people at Nars are thinking!
Chanel ‘In Love’…..it’s been around forever, and its the only blush I’ve ever replaced more than once; an oldie but a goodie!
On my fair/light skintone with cool undertones and warm features, a ‘universal’ blush blends warm and cool tones, so I turn to Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush or Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush blush in ‘Candy Glow’. But, if I’m wearing red lips, I often use only bronzer and highlighter as cheek colors, because adding blush just makes my rosacea-tinted skin too pink/red, although I can get away with just a tiny bit of MUFE HD blush in 210 under the bronzer and highlight, if I think I look too pale that day or don’t have much color on my eyes.
I’ve been really surprised at how versatile MAC Crazed Imagination (from the Rocky Horror collection) has been for me. I wish I had purchased a back up!
Chanel Jersey is a good pick, but runs warm. For a very neutral temperature cheek, I turn to Burberry Earthy
MAC Seduced at Sea or MAC The Perfect Cheek. Those go with whatever look I’m wearing!
MAC Pleasure Model blush. It looks so natural on my complexion that I wear it with everything
On my light skin tone (NW 15 with pink to neutral undertones) and natural blonde hair, my favorites for any look are:
– Daniel Sandler Watercolour Fluid Blusher in “Icing” and “Cherub” (liquid blushes)
– Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush “10”
– Estée Lauder “Sensuous Rose”.
NW 20-25, I could probably consolidate down to just MAC Mocha and Blushbaby, but I wouldn’t be happy about it!
Agree with your Blushbaby pick: it has the ability to not look like specific blush colour: it’s not a plum blush or a peach blush or a even a pink blush.. makes for a very versatile product if that makes any sense.
NARS Lokum, looks good with any makeup look I’ve tried, it just makes my skin look glowy.
Kevin Aucoin Natura and Armani Daybreak (503), but i just got NARS douceur and Burberry earthy, and they might become go-to’s.
NYX Coco or Mocha; NARS Taos
Well my go to blush is MAC Dainty. Not sure that it necessarily goes with any look but it works with all the looks that I do, pretty much. I much prefer shimmery blushes to matte or satin finish ones and Dainty has just the right amount for my taste. 🙂
For me it’s Benefit’s Dallas. It’s the only blush I’ve ever completely finished & repurchased!
for me it’s Hervana by Benefit 🙂
For me taj mahal is a blush that goes with anything from smokey to everyday. It just gives the skin the perfect amount of warmth even when it’s freezing outside. lol
On my dark/warm skin I use NARS dolce vita for matte and MAC sweet as cocoa for a neutral glow.
Tarte Exposed has been a go to for a while, but more recently I’ve been loving Benefit Rockateur.
Mac Mineralized Blush in Warm Soul – my all time favorite
I’m very fair with neutral undertones. My picks are Tarte Exposed, Buff, and MIrage (LE); and Benefit Dandelion. They add color but are natural/neutral enough to go with almost anything.
I’m very pale and Benefit Dandelion works perfectly as a neutral pink for me for both warm and cool looks.
Probably Benefit’s Dandelion or Jane Iredale’s Copper Wind for me!
On my medium neutral skin I really love Bobbi Brown Nude Peach, Benefit Dallas and Rocketeur and lastly MAC Mocha.
For me, probably Mac Melba. Seems to be my go to blush for all seasons 🙂
Tarte Exposed is mellow and neutral, but Tarte Natural Beauty mimics my natural flush–so when applied with a light hand, both go with just about everything. (Very fair, neutral undertones.)
I have very very fair skin and NYX Red on me looks like I’m naturally blushing, so it goes with everything.
Becca Sweetpea
Nars Doceur 🙂
Hm, well, probably Chanel Affinite! I don’t own many blushes, but depending on how much you sheer it out, Affinite is very versatile (on my skintone, anyway)
Milani Luminoso
Mac’s Blunt!! It’s always a winner
I have a really hard time with blush. I have extremely high cheekbones with no “apples” so have to be very careful of winding up looking like a skeleton! So far the best all around blush has been Nars Orgasm, if I go lightly with it. I have a true neutral fair skin tone & am lucky enough to wear any colour, bu this seems to work best to give me some kind of colour on my face.
I have dark skin (NW50) and I love Nars Taj Mahal and Chanel plum attraction. I always get compliments on my makeup when I wear these blushes..
MAC Gleeful is what I use for the vast majority of looks. I still don’t know how I haven’t hit pan, lol!
Yes, my Natio two tone blush in peach and bronze.
MAC Gingerly
Benefit Rockateur, NARS Unlawful, and Stila Peony
Hourglass blush in mood exposure.
I have Maybelline Cheeky Glow a subtle peach blush that goes almost with everything.. 🙂
I think Mac Melba goes with everything.
Beleive it or not, it is a cheapie I picked up at Walgreen’s, Milani Luminoso!
i just ordered UNIVERSAL BLUSH by SO SUSAN and it is great for any look/skin tone—-has anyone else tried it?
I think Dolce & Gabbana Nude blush is very versatile. (I’m a NC15).
Sleek Suede or Benefit Rockateur.
I know I can always grab NYC Central Park Pink! It’s a light dusty peachy pink beige (that’s a mouthful LOL). It imparts a slight colour and warmth enough to make me look healthy and a bit more sculpted. It doesn’t work as well when I’m tanned in August but I’m sure I have another go to for that, just can’t think of it!
Rock & Republic Shameless
Bars madly and Mac cult pink. TOTALLY different but both are amazing. Nars madly is neutral and goes with anything Where Mac pink cult is the perfect pick which goes with anything!
Tom Ford’s blush in Flush is really great stuff!
Hi Christine- ever since your Chanel Jersey & Kevyn Aucoin Natura recommendations I’ve been obsessed and pulled the trigger to order them! But, they look so similar in your swatches, would you say they’re dupes? What difference do you notice between them? I’m trying to decide if I should keep both or return one before I actually try them out… Thanks for your help!
