Oh these are fun! I might want the purple one, I don’t think any of the purples in my collection are that bright. Will stay tuned for the review and swatches.
Oh no! BITE’s one of my fave lip brands, and purple is my fave lip color, that purple is calling me.
I bought one of the Bite holiday sets bc everyone raves about it. I liked their lipsticks but every time I go to Sephora to buy a full size I’m so bored with their color selection. I usually look at other stuff. These are actually intriguing colors. About time!
I like things that have a bit more color and pop to them. I’ve become addicted to bite. They look so much better on the lips than swatches or especially staring at the display.
Try squid ink 😉 Sake is also gorgeous on. But without trying it on I would have thought it boring.
I also quite love the multistick in mochi as an eyeshadow color.
Neon fuchsia is Stunning and calling my NAME!
Whoa! What a change for Bite to make! I’ll wait on swatches before I commit to a shade, although the fuchsia and orange look interesting and not too OTT. But wow; Bite???
I do appreciate that this is “summer 2017,” and not “fall.”
I almost had a literal heart attack!! These are beautiful. I love all lipstick BITE so I am definitely gonna take a few of these!!
My heart skipped a beat seeing these. Favourite formula of standard Lipstick on the market meets rainbow colours.
I need reviews these as they are $30CAN each.
Nice!!! I can’t wait to see swatches.
Aaaand there goes fifty bucks. I had to have the blue and purple. Looking forward to seeing Nearly Neon Pink reviewed too. Now if only Bite will grant my wish of releasing a medium-deep teal…
That wish would be amazing fulfilled! Teal-toned lipsticks are one of my weaknesses.
I’m curious about how Nearly Neon Purple compares to Lavender Jam, or if the former is a tweaked re-release of the latter. Since I picked up Lavender Jam with Kale and Squid Ink last year, I’d rather just focus on Nearly Neon Blue if I can. (If Nearly Neon Blue is similar to Blue Bang! from MAC, I maybe can pass this. But they look so good!)
Oh my gosh we’re twins. looooooool. I already had Blue Bang and Lavender Jam too.
Color-wise, Nearly Neon Blue and Blue Bang are extremely similar–I think they’re each other’s closest dupes listed in Temptalia’s database so far. BUT I am really, really happy to own both because the difference in finish and slightly brighter/lighter blue of Nearly Neon Blue makes them feel much different to wear. If you’re on the fence and have the extra money lying around I would actually say it’s worth the splurge. Or you could just toss the barest pat of gloss over Blue Bang. 🙂
I think how different Lavender Jam and Nearly Neon Purple appear will depend a lot on skin tone. On me, they’re actually significantly different, and Nearly Neon Purple may actually be more similar to Bite Taro (a medium toned purple that’s more muted and warmer, now discontinued). I’m pale and Lavender Jam is about as light a purple as I could reasonably pull off without looking completely washed out and awful. Nearly Neon Purple reads medium, rather than light, and is actually less bright than Lavender Jam. I could see the relative differences between the two being less exaggerated on more medium or deeper complexions, though.
Both Kale and Squid Ink turn teal on me (Kale being a more green-leaning teal, obvs, and Squid Ink being more blue-leaning, but definitely teal). So maybe try a sample – or if you want to just buy one go with Squid Ink, IMO. I have light-medium olive-neutral skin, and pretty pigmented naturally red-brown lips. They may not turn teal for very light skinned people though.
I’ll give them a shot. Thanks for the tip!
Love it~ Need the pinks
Bite’s Amuse Bouche formula is my favorite traditional lipstick! I rarely wear lipsticks that aren’t liquid lipsticks, so that means I really love them! They are so comfortable, smell great, and have amazing pigmentation. I have Squid Ink, Kale, Lavender Jam, and Thistle. I’m ALL about the fun colors. I was so so excited to see this launch! I bought the blue, though the purple looks fun as well! I’m going to need more swatches to see if it is too close to Lavender Jam though.
