I have a hard time processing why companies put out such large mega sets like this.
Like, it’s possible you can be in love with a formula and want ALL the colors. And I love buying sets myself.
But you can’t possibly use up this many within a year. And probably won’t buy many other lip colors following this purchase. But brands still expect you to constantly purchase stuff. Especially to meet VIB Rouge status, or get decent points on a yearly basis. I get that makeup hoarding is a problem in the beauty community (I definitely have more makeup than I use). Maybe not so much for bloggers because it’s their JOB to buy and test so much. But for the average person… who is buying this? Please help me understand, haha.

And I have never met a group of friends that buys sets like this and splits them up. Which is an economical response, but not one that is realistic???

Right? I legit am only interested in the bottom half of this and even then it’d be a lot to purchase. Can’t justify it since half would easily go unused.

I wish I had the money to buy such big sets. Not only this one. I love the look of it when the colours are in a row from dark to lighter colours.

The layout will get you every time, like the UD holiday spectrum. This gave me a gasp, and I have a gazillion bites. It’s so easy to have a gut reaction to a big statement piece like this.

If I had the money I would buy this!!!
I heard that BITE lipsticks go off quickly, but i’v had my Luminous creme lipstick in Mulberry for a while now, and it hasn’t gone off!!
also as a bright lip lover/Someone who only owns two “nudes”, I definitely love that it’s mostly brights!!

Haven’t found that to be true. Have some ‘first edition’ luminous and none are funky at all. (I have gotten funky direct from the store, though.)But I don’t really consider them old. I follow my own, rather than packaging guidelines. And if a formula tends to turn in my environment and I know it, I refrigerate it and pull it out the day before, if I especially want to preserve it. Didn’t do it soon enough for NARS Tangier, the shade that started all the multistick business. Booo! Love puce.

Iv found the same! People keep saying to me that my luminous creme lipstick will go off soon, because of the “food grade” ingredients. but I find them to last!!!
