Brand extension run amuck! 1.20 USD to take off your lipstick? Once? Aimed at a target market that already does mid to high range lipsticks, doubtless would rather save the buck ‘n a half for ANOTHER l/s, and already has tried an infinite number of removers? And readers thought MUG’s VL quad was overpriced. OMG!! T readers will probably crucify this one, with good reason. They could have had some success with a bottled or jarred product, esp one in a pump to keep the AOX stable, etc. But I suspect this one will be laughed off the market.

I think these are going to be best for someone on the go, since it’s more economical to use a makeup remover wipe if you’re at home (or cotton pad and remover, etc.). I buy MAC’s 100 bulk wipes, so they’re by no means something I’d lug in a bag, but they’re fine sitting on a table! Plus, since I swatch 10-20 lip products in one go, I actually *use* multiple wipes, and I think these would be too small. I have to see how large they are, but they look very one-time use, so I’m expecting a smaller size. They are something I’d buy here and there for throwing in my travel bag or emergency pouch (I keep bandaids and stuff like that in it).

I like the idea of these but they seem terribly pricey for a cleansing item that you would use on such a small area. Maybe if they came out with the “business” part of the product that we could put on our own wee cloth, cotton square or q-tip, it might seem more affordable to me but even if you could cut these wipes in halves or quarters to save money, the foil pouches make that pretty pointless since I guess the remainder of the wipe would dry out.

These are actually really useful if you’re on the move as often as I am, but I admit I find it a tad pricey. I usually just keep baby wipes on hand – dollar for a pack!

I’ve been using baby wipes for years to remove lipstick…I see no reason to get a pricey alternative. For $22 bucks I can get a case of baby wipes. Great concept though.

These seem more like a gimmicky swag filler for red-lipped starlets to get the perfect line just before accepting their award on oscar night. Not a purse staple.
