ahhhhh i hope the pigment is there…these colors look great.
Huh, strange shade choices for summer. I can see the mauve being very popular though.
These shades don’t strike me as summer but they seem nice.
Interesting they’ve gone the dark/unusual lipsticks route, wasn’t expecting that from them, especially for summer!
Must resist Whiskey and Taro! BITE has one of the best lipstick formulas on the market, so hoping the more unique colors ( green, blue, lavender) score well. Curious how these compare to UD’s new formula!
Too funny. You always say what I think; there must be some gene for color affinity/preference that we share. Assume these will make it to the store. Interesting that Sepho does have some stuff that never leaves the warehouse for the store, and only goes directly to the consumer from online orders. My locals often never receive the More Lip collections, except at Xmas. Some SAs had not even heard of the nude collection.
It’s a costs effectiveness strategy. For a lot of LE products, having the limited supply in one distribution center cuts down costs by not having to send supply to every store in the country all at one time, especially products in short supply. For LE collections/new products, they trickle down, allowing the hype to quell before sending out to stores, allowing stores to keep supply in-stock, and easing the need for multiple deliveries in the week & maintaining storage space.
Well, at least that’s what a store manager told me, LOL! It does make sense, though.
Exactly. Sure that is true. It seems, though, that the SAs should be utd with what is online. I had one argue w/, berate me for referring to MUFE shadows by shade name. She scoffed that I had no idea what I was talking about. I was polite in suggesting that she could indeed find shade names by looking online…and that some Sephora favorites were online only, as well. What I really wanted to do was suggest that she get me someone who knew what she was talking about, rather than make fun of a customer, who actually WAS right, in this case.
What can I say, great minds think alike! 😉
Is Whiskey named with a particular one in mind, I wonder (eg Jack Daniels)? 😀
I’m in love.
Isn’t Thistle shade 005 from the LE shades in the old formula? If so, that was actually my fav Bite shade in the old formulas.
Looks like dark green and blue are the alternative colors of choice lately! Hopefully the pigmentation is there for those who are interested.
I’m intrigued, but those are some weird ass colours for a summer launch!
If Whiskey, Thistle & Taro look as good on the lips as they do in the picture-might have to get them. Cause I need more lippies ? I didn’t see any notice from Sephora email-glad you let us know. Agreed they look more fall/winter.
Most of those just don’t strike me as “summer” colours (and I don’t like them much, either). Oh, Bite….how I miss your discontinued formula and colours!
Weird for “summer”! Except for Thistle and Lavender Jam, these read autumn/winter. Says the woman who wore UD Time lipstick with CP Petit Four just yesterday! It would be great if Lavender Jam would/could work on me, hoping to try it on and see!
I love that “weird” lipstick colours are becoming more and more available! And that BITE has gone with these totally non stereotypical colours for summer!
A++ for uniqueness, I hope the quality is just as good as the concept!
Because I needed more of these to list after…
Kale and Squid Ink are calling my name.
Ohhhh I really want them all! I wish Bite would sell internationally 🙁 If they do ship abroad I really don’t want to pay customs.. they usually charge more than the product itself!
I’m wondering how these edgier colors will stack up to the ones in the UD line.
I’m actually very glad to see BITE chose to launch darker colors for summer. Most people tend to wear lighter shades during spring/summer, but darker shades look great on me. So summer or not, I rock those vampy shades. They are not just cute for fall and winter, and BITE just reminded us. Would love to get my hands on these!
Not sure how these are summer shades O.o But most of these will be great for Halloween and winter.
VERY EXCITED about these
they were missing in the last collection
… for summer?
Summer???? Colours
These are summer shades? Okay. I like that they’re keeping it interesting by not doing what everyone expects, but these shades are ALL very dark and/or muted.
i’ve yet to try this formula , but the filipina in me wants to get taro just for the name & the color .
i’m also intrigued with kale & squid ink .
I just let out a sigh, saying, Oh, look at them!
I hope they are as amazing on the lips as they are in the bullet.
wow *_*
