I’m super fair and while I liked both Nars Sin and UD Rapture my absolute FAVORITE is Lancome Blush Subtil in Aplum.
You convinced me to try the Lancome Blush Subtil in Aplum! I received it last Christmas but thought it wasn’t for me (didn’t even swatch). Then I missed the window to return/exchange and was just going to give it away. Now I’m keeping it for myself!
I lusted after UD Rapture for a year and had two other Afterglow shades before picking it up. It’s been one of my favorites since.
I don’t wear any plum shaded blushes, but the recommendations up there look really lovely for those who do. I think I would like Sin the best.
It’s so funny you should say this, Genevieve. For years and years, I wanted to buy Sin but every time I’d swatch it in-store, it just didn’t work for me at all. When UD first released their (now d/c’d) blushes, my first thought was that Rapture was very much like Sin, only cheaper and maybe better. I compared them in-store and I was right. I’ve owned Rapture since then and it was one of my favourite blushes, especially for fall and winter – now they’ve all been eclipsed by Dior’s Rosy Glow Awakening Blush but I still use it from time to time and really enjoy it.
I love Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure for lighter skin, but it wonβt let me add it. π
