Being TRUE Cosmetics - Luminance Collection Palette Review

Being TRUE Luminance Collection ($86.00) is an eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, band bronzer palette. All of the colors are the same size, which makes them versatile in terms of what you can use them for–they could all easily be used as eyeshadows. It comes with Matte Peach, Soft Pink Shimmer, Rich Golden Brown, Brownze Glaze, Gilded Pink, and Sheer Gold Metallic. What’s awesome is that they include a step-by-step instruction guide with the palette to help you apply certain looks and get ideas on how to use the multi-tasking palette. The colors included in this are nearly two inches in diameter, which makes them quite large, and I imagine it’ll take someone a very long time to ever finish one. The palette also comes with a Press Definer Brush for lining your eyes.

I loved the gold in this–it’s a very bright pop of sunny yellow gold, which makes it so perfect for summer wear.  There is a melony-peach color that works nicely as a wash all over the lid, as well as a blusher on warm skin tones.  The light pink color would look nice as both a shadow and a blush, depending on the look you were going for.  The colors were all pigmented, and I felt they went on quite smoothly.  There is a good mix of mattes and shimmers, so you’re bound to find yourself with plenty of looks to try.

Wow, thats a pretty steep price for a palette, lol, especially with the economy now a days, lol. :oP The colors are very pretty, but there are probably some close colors out there somewhere for a much cheaper price, lol.

The shadows are huge, though, so you’d NEVER run through one! They’re basically the size of MAC blushes, and the colors are meant to be used on the eyes, face, etc. so it can multi-task, lol. I agree that it is on the pricier end, though, for a palette (but I think the quality is higher than the typical holiday palette, too).

Hey Calico! Seems like price definitely has people holding back from this. I think it’s a decent value since each shadow/pan is enormous (like the size of a MAC blush pan), and the colors are versatile for eyes or face. Plus, quality beats the average palette launched by brands during the holidays.

Too pricey for me. With so many cosmetic companies I’m sure you can find something similar for waaaaay cheaper. (says the lady who just bought the same product from two brands cause the packaging was too cute, lol!)

ooh, the 3rd one over looks really good! and they’re not that expensive compared to mac eyeshadows. these come to be about $14 each if you calculate it out… and they’re almost 2 inches in diameter so way bigger than mac shadows… and these are versatile. i wouldn’t buy them personally, but they aren’t that expensive compared to mac.
