Nice! The Afterglow Palette looks like a good alternative to the Hourglass palette that was released recently.
I concur! I’m excited about this palette.
Yes, Great conclusion !
Agree! Hourglass palette was such a letdown!
That palette…. Topaz is waaaayyyy too dark for my skin but I may still have to get it.
I just grabbed the Becca Afterglow palette!! It wasn’t suppose to launch until Sept 27, but guess Ulta’s feeling the pressure to launch holiday stuff early. I’ve been lemming after the Moonstone pressed perfector forever, and this is the perfect way to try their other powders and blushes, and you can mix colors too. Great for mornings, travel, or touch ups at desk. I already have the Opal products from the other kit, so skipped that one, but Opal is really pretty!
This Holiday collection really gets hot and hotter!
That pallet looks nice. I wonder if all the colors will work for my pale skin though.
I want them to do the same set in topaz. I would get that in a heartbeat for travel- and I wouldn’t be as pissed when I happen to drop that highlight on the floor. I can’t wait to see what else they have
I wish Canada would get this 🙁
So sad we don’t have Ulta in Canada. ?
Ulta start shipping to Canada. lol
The Afterglow Palette is probably a dream for makeup artists. Opal is not included, but those tones would make a great palette for mixing for different skin tones.
I got super excited…until I saw that it was an Ulta exclusive. Hopefully Sephora will have their own palette.
I agree. The Afterglow palette is beautiful and I would buy it if only Ulta would ship to us Canadians.
The regular sized skin perfectors are so huge and you only need such a tiny bit, I think the palette/mini release is a great value. I’d grab it if I didn’t already have the large sizes.
Yeah, I did the math, and it’s the pretty much the same cost per oz vs full size. Even if they charged a little more, I’m ok with it, as long as they aren’t gouging like crazy. Since I almost never finish anything, this is a great way to try different Becca products.
I just got Moonstone Poured, so I selfishly wish that Becca had included Opal instead of Moonstone in the palette. But this is such a great value (since I practically never finish full pans), that I just might pick it up anyway! So pretty!
I really, REALLY love this palette!!! These are all awesome shades for me, although I’d reserve Topaz for summertime, everything else would get a year-round workout!
I literally just bought the full size of the wild honey blush from Becca which I can’t wait to try. This cute little set is so adorable I have to get it. It has two of the highlighters I haven’t gotten around to buying yet plus another blush by her I was going to pay full price for too. It’s a win-win for me and I really hope the ultra near me doesn’t run out before I get there.
Oh, I love the palette! But, I have the highlighters individually. I’m going to have to read up on the blushes to decide if it’s worth buying the whole thing to try them out. Why can’t they sell this stuff all year?!
Oh no. Oh dear. Need.
What size pans are they? In comparison to the original size? Is the product worth the value?
The hourglass breakdown you included really made me stay away as it’s not worth it. The pans are tiny!
If the pan size is bigger this looks like a winner!
I found a photo of the actual palette online. The highlighters are .05 oz and the blushes are .056 oz. If I did the math right, it’s pretty much the same cost per oz vs. full size.
Same size as a mac eyeshadow. 0.05oz….
Ive gone through a favorite mac eyeshadow in about 3 months so a highlighter will definitely get used up fast. In this palette.
I have brown skin, so Topaz is likely the only shade that will easily work on me. I actually own Topaz in the liquid, cream and powder versions lol. But OMG…I NEED this palette.
Rose gold will work for you as well. I love the rose gold against brown skin
I’m. NC 50 (when I get a tan) and rose gold works for me. I personally do not like topaz but I bought the palette anyway.
Maybe I should just hand Becca/Ulta my paycheck? I have the small sizes of most of these but I just feel compelled to own this. Holiday!
I wish the afterglow palette wasn’t an ulta exclusive dang it! No love for Canada, ah well. Probably don’t neeeed it 😉
Wish this was sold in canada!!
There’s a thing called My Mall Box that gives international buyers a” U.S. Address” for you to send your item to, and the company will then ship it to your country. A YouTube blogger from the UK uses this to order nyx, sephora, etc… Basically from every company that doesn’t ship to UK.
Omg Thank you for this.. I’ll look into it! 🙂 Have you used it before?
The colors look beautiful! I’m going to need that palette.
I so want marc jacobs palette. It’s simply beautiful. I want the Becca set, but ulta doesn’t deliver to canada. Wish they would change that.
Yaaaasssss! I am soooo getting that palette!
I wish the colors weren’t too dark for my skin tone because those both look nice. =( They also seem reasonably priced… but maybe that’s only because I’ve been looking at “other” collections with prices that would make almost anything else seem reasonable.
Actually I really like this one – I think it looks better than the Benefit one shown earlier. Love the colours and the design. But, of course, it only works if these colours suit you.
Ohhh these are perfect, I want both! So much better and affordable than the Hourglass release
I brought it! I think it will be great for travel. I own a full size of opal but none of these colors. Can’t wait to get it!
mmm… ok… I need it!
I think I start to stalk the space.uk web site to check the availability of it!
Oh, this is pretty! But I’m glad I got a sample of opal (it was in a summer/bronze sephora kit) .. it’s a good size sample and I’ll have it forever.
Monica.
Now this is how you do a holiday palette! Hourglass needs to take note!
This is nice, I am definitely picking this up. I do not own any of the Becca powders and I’ve been wanting to try them. With this price, I can’t resist.
Both look nice if you love the natural but buildable Becca products!
Just ordered the Afterglow palette! I have several Becca products, but I do not own any in this palette. This is a great way to try out several products and travel.
so beautiful! do you know how can I get it in France? xx
