Beauty.com @ Erin Fetherston S/S 2012
After VPL, I headed to Erin Fetherston with the Beauty.com team to check out the hair styling by Alterna and nails by Butter London. Â There were four different styles for hair, 60s inspired with a sexy-without-spending-an-hour-on-it kind of hair. My favorite was the twisted chignon with a little oomph and volume using Alterna Bamboo products in Volume Uplifting Root Blast, Volume Weightless Whipped Mousse, and Smooth Anti-Humidity Hair Spray. Butter London’s Nonie customized the nail color (dubbed “Patent Pink”) by mixing Pink Ribbon and Tea with the Queen together.
It’s really pretty crazy backstage – the set-up at Erin Fetherston was so small (smallest of all the shows I’ve been to so far). Â It’s like organized chaos, I suppose, because everyone manages to get done what they need to get done in time for the show to go on. Â I also want to thank everyone who recommended Cole Haan shoes, because though my feet hurt from all the walking at the end of the day, I don’t (yet) have blisters! Â I’ve got a few more shows to recap, so stay tuned!
Check out more photos!
Lovely photos!
I love that nail polish color so much! haha
I’m not certain if you would know or not Christine, but if you do and could pass along the info I’d appreciate it…what is the name of the Butter London polish that is photographed of the two bottles by themselves? It’s such a lovely shade.
Thanks for your time.

That is the custom mixed shade – Patent Pink – which is Pink Ribbon + Tea with the Queen mixed together.
I thought that *kind of* looked like what I have on my nails (Pink Ribbon)…but more opaque! Hope they release this custom shade – it took me four layers to keep Pink Ribbon slightly opaque.
Did they layer the colors or actually mix them together?
Mixed 🙂
Yay! I was the first that recommended Cole Haan via Facebook. (Mirely)
I’m so glad you like them. They tend to be a good investment. 🙂
Also, that polish looks great and it doesn’t look streaky… might have to check it out.
Love these photos! And I am absolutely in LOVE with that updo! Thanks for these photos Christine! <3
